Uh yea....

Yesterday I put on my blog title "buyout" well I forgot to mention why. Our company was bought out by a company called HM Capitol. I am very excited about the growth that is going to give us because it will give me more work to do. Any way that is why I put that there.

So it is Friday after noon and I hit my bonus goal...$17,500...that gives me a $2,000 buffer. Problem is now I have, probably 3-4 hours worth of paper work to do. So I better get to it...Bye.

"Double or Nothing", drug testing, and Buyouts.

Sorry I have not blogged all week. I have been very busy at work. It's been a bit crazy around here. We had a contest this week called double or nothing...well this meant double your average in sales and the company will give you a $200 dollar bonus. Well I was out Monday and my average doubled is nearly $11000. This would normally only be a bit of a stretch for me, however I just sold $15000 two weeks ago and $8000 last week. Which means I'm a short on work to do.

Well I was doing okay, trying to kill myself by working to death, then on Tuesday afternoon a man came into our office. Now this is only strange because I work with 17 girls and 1 man. And that was not him. Also we do not usually allow people to just walk around the building with out someone with them. So we all started to interrogate this poor guy. I sat and listened for a time while I worked and I thought he was being fairly vague in his answering. They all asked if he was here interviewing and he said yes so they asked what for and he didn't answer. I figured out who he was after listening to the questions he wouldn't answer. So I turned around and asked him "have you been drug tested yet." I told mom when I got home that I said that to him and she lost it laughing, she of course knew who he was and thought I had some guts to say that to him. He laughed pretty hard. Well on Wednesday morning our entire co. had a meeting and we were all told that we had been bought out, and this "man" was our new CEO.

I'm a little nervous that he already knows me by name but considering the co. he works for, it can't be a bad thing at this point. Anyway, back to the story, so since said meeting took an hour out of the middle of my week I was a bit behind on hitting my double. So I worked really hard yesterday and all day today. Then mister CEO walks in today at about 3pm and says if you triple your average I will give you another $200....WOOOHOOOOO! oh wait....ah crap....I have hardly any work and it is Thursday afternoon and I still need almost $7000 to hit TRIPLE my average. So I dug into my drawer and pulled out everything I had and started calling. I started in the Mid-West and worked my west to Alaska. I called my rear off. Well it is 7:15 now and I just stopped calling 15 minutes ago....I am now only $2035 away and hopefully I have enough work to call that tomorrow. I am going to go home now. It's late. I haven't seen KK in two days...the joys of being a working mom...peace.

Michael's Hair

It hasn't been a very eventful weekend. We went to a movie on Friday with mom, dad, Bobbie, and Michael. We went and saw Evan Almighty. It was much better than I expected. I didn't like the first movie, Bruce Almighty, but this one was a clean family movie. Michael also got a hair cut...not just a little....A LOT!!!!! Here are the before and after pictures.
I think it looks sooo good. I actually think it looks better than before. I was a little sceptical because with Michael's hair short is hard. But we found a great stylist, and he did a great job on the cut.

sick, back, weekend

It has been a boring few days. I Have been sick all week. Yesterday I actually felt better so I went to lunch with my office at Brick Oven. It was very good. Until about 20 minutes later. I felt awful as soon as we got back to the office and threw up a few times. I also got a huge pain in my back that knocked me out the rest of the day. I went home and tried to sleep but I couldn't because it hurt soooo bad. Well I did finally fall asleep and slept until about 8 last night. I still Feel like crap but here I am at work...Yay! I think I may go home in a minute. I'm not getting anything done here.

I don't have much to do this weekend. I think we are going to go to the Rodeo either tonight or tomorrow. I still need to talk to my family. We'll see if it is sold out yet. And I think we may paint KK's room this weekend and as always work in the yard.

Well back to work...peace.

stuff....

Yesterday was sooooo hot! Monday after work I came home and fell asleep. I slept most of the night. Then I stayed up half the night reading. So needless to say yesterday I was exhausted. After work I went with Kk and Leeana to seven peaks. It was fun but like I said it was very hot. I actually burned the bottoms of my feet. I don't know if I was irritable or if it was just hot and I was tired but my patience was pretty thin. We stayed for a few hours then we took Leeana home.

We had to stop by the grocery store on the way home because there was no food in the house. We made kabobs & they were excellent. We ate them outside on dad's patio furniture. It was very nice.

Well that was most likely the most boring blog ever but I'm not feeling all that great so you get what you get...bye.

P.S. To those of you who are reading too much into this...tired, irritable, not feeling well...no I'm not pregnant.

side note.

So I noticed in the bathroom pictures that the shower rod is bent. Now I thought I might explain how that happened to all who were wondering... SO Michael was taking a shower and he was talking smack, not the smartest thing to do when you are defenseless in the shower. Well I walked up and punched through the shower curtain to where he was standing. He wasn't quite expecting it and he whipped around pulling the shower curtain down with him. I laugh really hard for a while. But that is how the bar got bent.

Painting, fathers day, and yard work.

I forgot to take a picture of the yard work so I'll have to post that tomorrow but here are some pictures of the bathroom....

I think it looks cute Kailye did a great job picking out the color. We also got dad some patio furniture for fathers day. It is cute but we still haven't used it. We'll have to try it out tomorrow. Well I'm headed to be at a record time for me.

Black Bears...scary!

Well it's Monday and I can feel it. I'll post later about why. This is just a quik one. I woke up this morning to the news of a bear attack last night that killed an 11 year old boy. I was sad about it and then I heard it happened right where Michael and I had thought about going camping this weekend. It was up American Fork Canyon and an 11 year old boy sleeping in a seperate part of a large tent then his parents. They found him at 1am this morning 400 yards from his camp site. I am so greatful we did not go camp up there. And it really makes me want to buy a trailer. Well back to work...bye.

oops....

Uh...quik note. I totally forgot to mention that my cousin Tyler got baptized on Wednesday. I missed that too. I hate not being there to see all of this fun stuff. I feel what Holly says about being away from your family. Sorry Holly....

Well tonight we went and got my dad a fathers day present. It's really actually for all of us who live here. We got him some patio furniture. Nothing fancy but it is better than the card table Michael, I, KK and dad pulled out yesterday...I know Ghetto. I was going to post pictures but I asked the 4 year old to put my camera away. Anyone's guess where it's at. I tried to wake her up to ask her but lets just say she's got this evil little thing she does with her voice and face when you wake her from a deep sleep. It was creepy. Well I'll have to post them tomorrow after we find the camera.

Side note...we are helping dad put in all his bark and weed the yard Saturday. Anyone is welcome to come help and we will feed you dinner=)...I'm outy....ha ha that was funny...it's so late...bye

Kailye...

Kailye has been going to Kristen's house this week. Kristen watches her Monday's and Wednesdays. It's so nice to have family so close that I can trust to watch her. I amazed by how much Kristen gets done in a day. Kailye loves going over there. Yesterday they played in the sprinklers. I stole some pics from Kristen....

Kailye & I went to home Depot yesterday & picked out new paint for her bedroom & the Bathroom. I think she did a good job. She choose a light purple color for her room and a light green for the bathroom. I'll have to post before and after pictures later.
Well I have to get back to work...bye.

California...

I'm a bit sad today. I was supposed to go to California for my cousin's graduations tomorrow but I ended up not doing it. I'm a little sad because my family is there until saturday. I really love northern California. If it weren't so expensive I would live there. It's just beautiful. I am going to have to take a trip out later this summer so I can see everyone. And Michael has never been to my Aunt's house because everytime we go out is for rugby and he stays with the team. Well I hope everyone has a good time...Bye.

P.S. Congratulations Racheal & Teresa!!!

Oceans & oceans...

We went and saw Oceans 13 last night. I thought it was very good. I did see a lot of things coming but it was still a good movie. I'll be excited if they come out with another one. Although they are all looking a bit old. Especially Brad Pitt....must be all those kids.

We went with Michael's family. His Uncle David was visiting from Tennessee. He retired from the army a month a ago and has already been out here twice. We love it because he is great. He's so fun to talk to. He's been all over the world so he has so many stories. And he LOVES the boys so he give them all kinds of great advice. He's like the dad they didn't have.

Well that's all for now...bye.

Cleaning.... :(

Okay so yesterday we went to church and the lesson we had in Relief Society was inspiring to me. It was about preparing for the hard times. Michael and I have been blessed to realize this is important. It has definitely come in handy, especially due to recent events. Well we also discussed our homes and how we need to not only plant our gardens but also keep our homes in order. If for nothing else than to keep you happy.

So....I came home from church and looked around. Now let me tell you...I haven't cleaned up much since Steph and the boys left. Okay it's not that I haven't "cleaned up" it's that I haven't cleaned. It all looks so overwhelming because every room needs to be gone through cleaned out and reorganized. UGGG!

Well yesterday we started with KK's. Now I'm sure most of you are thinking..."that shouldn't be too hard." "she's a little kid, how messy could it be?"...well let me tell you what we took OUT of Kailye's room. 2 garbage bags full of trash, 2 tubs full of clothing that is too small for her, 3 garbage bags full of DI items, 4 full size quilts, a ton of stuffed animals....wow I could make a Christmas song, the 12 bags of Crap from KK's room. Now If you have not seen Kailye's room it is about 10x10 feet big...if that. now that is all the stuff we pulled out. Everything we kept in...oh dear...so her whole closet is so full she doesn't even have any hangers left. She has more jackets than any 4 year old really needs...or any adult for that matter. They come in every style and color. She has a full size bed that has shelves at the head of it, which are stuffed full of teddy bears, bunnies, dolls, books and a CD player. You know all the stuff she couldn't part with. She is very good at getting rid of toys she doesn't play with but stuffed animals are a whole other story. Plus there are two hidden storage compartments in the head and they are full of Barbie stuff....It's ridiculous.

We did have fun watching from inside the window as daddy killed the Black Widow right outside the window....Fun huh? Well it took us all day to do just KK's room. 1 down only 5 to go...if you include the storage room I'm going to have to clean out. It does feel good to have hers done. And Michael straightened our room last night also so that one shouldn't be too hard. Well back to work...be happy.

Ouchy....

Okay so I went to a dance class last night. Ouch....I hurt everywhere. I forgot how much of a total body work out dancing is. I hurt in muscles I forgot I had. It was just a beginning class. I figured since I haven't danced in 5+ years I better start there. I can tell you it was much easier to move like that 40lbs. ago. It was fun though. I knew, by far, more than anyone in there :) Well back to work I go....bye.

HI.....

Hello all...not much to talk about today. I always say that then it end up being two pages worth long. Anyway, I came to work today. It kind of sucks. I also decided that for now I need to stay full time. I'm so glad that I have people who can watch KK because that is my biggest stress with working. She gets to play with Baby Jason twice a week and with one of her friends once a week and then at grandma Leeana's the other two days.

Michael has decided for sure to do real estate first off. His dad is working on a deal with a contractor that would let Michael and his brother sell his subdivisions. It would be a very good thing for them. From what I understand they are writing up a contract today. That would also give him time to do his own deals on the side. Anyone who needs an agent I happen to know a HIGHLY motivated one.....=)

Well thats all for now...Peace.

P.S. I am going to a dance class tonight...after 5 years of not dancing....this should be hilarious!!!

Family

So a lot has happened over the past few days but it really is too much to blog about right now. I'll just summarize. Last Saturday we went to breakfast at Magelby's Fresh...which we all love...Steph wanted to go one last time before she left so Bobbie, Steph, the boys, and Kk and I all went. We then went over to Grandma Gordon's house and went swimming at her pool. It was fun to take all the kids over. It was also the last chance grandma would get to see Parks and Bright before they leave so she enjoyed it.

Monday Art and Steph and the boys were sealed. We went to lunch with them afterward. It was very nice to sit down and talk with my Grandparents were able to come in from Peru to have Grandpa do the sealing. Everyone came back over to our house after and we all sat around and talked and played.

Tuesday was a little chaotic with Steph and Art trying to get everything done before they had to leave but it was nice to be with them. I am going to miss them so much and also the boys. Kk has loved having someone to play with everyday. And I have also LOVED having someone to play with. Here are all the things I am going to miss the most...."penu-buder an jelly", "hot chocolate milk", someone to hang out with, late nights watching Scrubs with Michael, me and Steph, swimming, someone to talk to, fights to break up between a 1 2 and 3 year old, playing soccer in the back yard with uncle Michael, running to the store while Michael stays home with the kids, someone to complain about everything to and with, more people to cook for, someone else to cook, all the toys out Everywhere, Mulan, all the kids laughing and smiling, lots of sippy cups, 5 loads of dishes a day, and then washing them all by hand afterward, having all the kids go to bed at the same time made it easier to get my one kid to bed, Parks in Kk's princess shoes, Bright trying to figure out how to put them on like his "buba", buying a bunch of bananas everyday, and a gallon of milk, my family. It was so nice to have Steph and the boys stay with us before they left. I cried all day today every time I would look around and something would remind me they weren't here. Steph and I used to be very close and it was nice to get that back. I'm sad to see one of my best friends move but I am also so excited for them.

I'm sad for KK to lose her best friends too but I 'm so happy that she will get to go play with baby Jason twice a week, I have a feeling she's going to need it. She already asked today why we couldn't just go to Mexico right now. It is such a blessing to have family so close. I really appreciate everything they do for us.

Well I better go to bed...love you all...good night.

Seven Peaks and the kids.

Steph and I went to seven peaks yesterday. It was very fun. We mostly sat around while the kids played in the children's pool, but it was nice to just sit and let them play without having the destroy anything. I'm kind of sad I forgot my camera but oh well.

We didn't sit there the whole time we actually did go down one of the small slides. Parks went down all by himself and made a nice recovery after tipping over at the bottom. Then Steph and Parks went down. Next was mine and Kk's turn. Okay I didn't see Steph get out at the bottom but it was a very short slide so I figure we probably wouldn't get that wet. Boy was I wrong! When you add the weight of an adult to the 30 foot slide its like a little torpedo. We both got DRENCHED! We both came out laughing pretty hard. The water at the bottom of the slide came up completely over our heads. It was fun though.

After that we went and walked around the lazy river. now let me paint you a picture. The lazy river is a quarter of a mile long. Granted it does have a fairly strong current. But it is also only 3 1/2 feet deep. Now if you walk around it while you are standing up it gets cold because half of your wet body is out of the water, so you basically have to squat all the way around. This was fine for a minute but by the time we were half way around both of our thighs were burning. I know Steph had to be hurting because I was dying and I was only carrying 45lbs. She had closer to 70lbs. with both of her boys. Plus she is shorter than me so she couldn't sit into it as much as I could. Well needless to say after two laps around the so called "lazy river" we got out. Today I am walking pretty stupid.

On the way home we stopped at a fabric store. After wearing my new swim suit yesterday, and feeling so comfortable all day in it, we decided to get some Lycra and see if mom would make us each a few more. We found a bunch on sale and decided what we wanted and the lady cut it. Then we decided we were going to need some elastic so I called mom. Now this was the first mom had heard she would be making us swimsuits...she laughed and said she be happy to make 7 swimsuits before Steph leaves on Wednesday. Did I mention mom has been in Park City all week and is going to St. George for the weekend and will not be back until Sunday afternoon. I'm glad she knows how to sew well. Thanks MOM!!!!

Well I always mean to make these short and somehow they ramble on...familiar I know....Peace.
