To my dear Kik...

So you may have all met my sis-in-law Kari. I have decided we are soul mates....yes that's right soul mates. Our journey started just 3 1/2 short years ago, and it has been quite an adventurous one. We have been on two 12 hour drives to and from the bay area with a two and then three year old and a mother-in-law. Which we both love. We've been on countless camping trips with the Griffee clan and on a few boating weekends. you could have heard either of us at some point in the planning of said trips say "I'll go if Kik/Trish goes" or "Is kik/Trish going?" We also would probably tell you that when it comes to our "friends" since we've been married the other one probably tops the list.(excluding our actually sisters..and Steph my adopted sister who actually probably ties with kik)

It all started when she moved to Provo for a summer and met this guy I still hadn't met at the time, even though Michael and I had been seeing each other for almost a year, his name is Adam. And just three short months later Michael said "I think my brother is going to ask that one girl to marry him." Thus our story begins. you see Kari and I are, at times, the same person. We both are not so shy about telling you exactly how we feel about something. yes at times this probably is not the best but you see Kari and I are not that big on lying either. Even if it is about the shirt you just bought, hopefully you can return it, or hopefully you are strong enough to ignore what we think and wear it anyway. This may be why we are excellent shopping buddies, if we can convince Michael to take Kailye.

We are also both fairly hilarious beings. We always seem to crack each other up anyway. Other people are usually laughing too, thus the conclusion that we may be funny. We always seem to have quite a good time together and we can always find something to talk about for an hour while we are supposed to be working. We have pretty much the same taste in clothing and we both like the color Green. We both like the same furniture....we both just like furniture. She is also always willing to take hilarious pictures with me with every statue on every vacation we go on.

There is oh so much more that I believe makes Kari and I soul mates but oh so little time to tell you all. So to make a short story long...I love this girl!

Okay so I'm on a mac at work and it will not let me leave comments on anyone's Blog..but..I totally agree with Will in every aspect. It's so great to be able to keep in touch with everyone. I love getting messages and comments...I probably should lay off a little while I'm at work but I'm working at the same time :)

I have not stayed in such close contact with my cousins, my aunts, and even my own siblings until this last week...and most of you live within 30 miles of me. I love blogging. It is such a great way to keep a family journal. I am not good at writing one because I can type faster than I can write. But I find myself wanting to print all of your blogs as well so I can have a huge family scrapbook. We need to get the rest of our family on this thing. I LOVE IT!!!!

I also agree with having extended family around when it comes to marriages. Maybe not as close as Michael and I but you know....we actually really appreciate living at mom and dad's. They have been very generous to let us do so for so long while Michael is in school. Hopefully this summer you can all come visit us in our house, apartment, condo...I don't know?..you can tell I'm right on top of it can't you. Someday. Well like I said I'm at work..I should go. I am so bad at this whole blog thing....I was just writing "HAPPY BIRTHDAY TERESA & RACHEL....early" and I posted it then went to look at the post and realized it was posted on Bobbie's old blogspot account. Yea I'm on her computer...I'm retarded. I'm just getting better and better at this. Oh and on the email about the temple...I meant to say to those of you who can make it, not how can make it. well anyway "HAPPY BIRTHDAY TERESA & RACHEL....early".

Am I drunk?....you judge for yourself...

So I just read my last blog before I started this one...I had no idea I was so great at spelling while typing :) But you have to give me a little credit because at least I got the y's in the right place. On our home computer the y key is broken so I have learned to type the y using ctrl v...so I'll find myself doing the same thing at work...yea you should see how that turns out since I can't type and look at the screen at the same time....LOL.

Not only can I not spell so great on my blogs....I'm going to start proof reading these...I also told a man on the phone today, whom I have never met, nor talked to before today, that I loved him. This came after the hoards of questions about being Morman, because he lives in Wisconsin. I explained all he wanted to know about my religion to him, even after he asked me if I really had horns under my hair, and as I was going to say goodbye I was texting Michael at the same time. Well I said to Mr. Harward.."let me know if I can help you with anything else"...Mr. Harward.."I will".."alright love you. Bye." The best part is I didn't relize I had said it until after I had hung up the phone and finished writing his contract. I then turned around to a co-worker who nearly fell off his chair he was laughing so hard.

Oh it doesn't stop there...My drunkenness continued...I also went to the gym after work today. (I know you may all clap for me) I bet you are thinking, is that it. Was that the whole story..well no it is not. Now don't judge me for what I am about to say, it could happen to anyone who is as retarded as I am. Anyway, Kailye and I went to the gym and afterward we went to wash the car. While we are in the car wash I let Kailye come sit with me until it's over. Well I told her to go sit in her seat about half way though because it was about to end and we needed to go home. Well it went on a little longer than I remembered. On the way home I looked into the back seat to see Kailye and she wasn't there!!!! I freaked out pulled over and ripped open the back door. She then popped up and screamed..."BOOOO!" I nearly wet my pants. yes...that's right I forgot to buckle her into the seat. Any of you who know me well, know that I never do this. I am a peranoid parent. But she and her dad play this game where when I go into a store and they are waiting outside she scares the bageesies out of me...it never fails I always forget she'll be there waiting to leap out and yell in my face, and then laugh so hard she has tears coming out of her eyes. anyway when she jumped up this time I fell backwards onto the ground...yea I thought she laughed hard before...I should have had a camera there I could have won lots of money while simotanously having my child taken by protective services for not putting her in a seat belt...Uh...I'm going to stay home the rest of the night for fear I would just leave her somewhere.

Movie.

So it tuesday morning..I'm at work..but not working yet. I get so tired of lately. We went and saw "Music & Lyrics" last night. It was alright but it is definetly a renter. Mom didn't relize until she was home for a few hours that she had left her sell phone in the movie theater, so...I crawled on the floor underneath a couples chairs as they were trying to watch the last 10 minutes of the movie to retrieve it:) They were so happy I was there I'm sure. Well better get back to work.

Dinner

So we went to dinner tonight with the family. It was so fun to see everyone. I miss all the summers when everyone would come to utah and stay at our house. When we would all sleep in the same room on sleeping bags and blow up mattresses. When everyone would stay up late laughing and talk. Of course very loudly and all over the top of each other. Although it has been a few years since we've played spoons...I don't think I even remember how. Having everyone here makes me relize how much I love my family, and how much I like that we are loud and crazy. I'm sure most of us have the same experience when you tell people how crazy your family is and no one believes you...until they meet us all. Our family has it's own culture and I am very proud of it. Well love you all.

Okay so Steph text me this morning about Britney Spears...has anyone else seen these pictures?!?! Kevin Federline is looking better and better. Those poor kids. I think she's losing it. That's all I really had to say....Bye.

I'm so lazy...

So I got up this morning..ha ha ....morning...it was 11:45, to my daughter sitting on my bed watching Angelina Ballerina. She's such a good kid and I'm such a slacker. Michael left early this morning because his dad's office basement flooded, so I of course did not get up. Okay that's a little miss leading because I probebly would not have gotten up anyway. I stayed up last night figuring out how to do all this blog stuff and then I was looking at some of all of your blogs and realized you all do myspace as well....so...I tried that out also. I don't know how you all have time for this? maybe it's that you all know a little more about computers than I do so things go a bit quicker. But I set up a myspace..."Trish-the cutest sister" is the name on it if you all want to look me up. I'm not quite sure how to use it yet but I'll figure it out.

So last night we went to the temple with alot of the Coombs Clan. It was such an experience to be in the temple with so much of my family. I loved it. I'm so sorry Will and Kristen couldn't come, but thank you so much for watching Kailye I really appreciate it. If you ever need a babysitter, don't hesitate to call me. I'm not home during the day but we don't do much at night or on the weekends. Really Kailye loves Jason...and any other kids that she can play with.

Well Kailye needs help with the cinderella game that she got for Valentine's Day...better go.

Mexico.

So when we went to the pool last night I was going to take this really cute Lava Lava I got in Mexico because it matches my swim suits. But it still has the smell of the beach in so I can't bring myself to wear it. Everytime I open that drawer I take it out and smell it. Pathetic I know, but do you blame me. I miss Mexico...I wish we could live there. This picture is the view from Michael's dad's time share. I can't wait untill Thanksgiving of 2008 :(

Um..Lots of stuff...

So I just started this today, and I've never done anything that has to do with computers except check my email and my bank statement. So here goes....

We went to Brighton's Birthday party last night at the Lehi pool and it was so much fun. I didn't even know that place exsisted until yesterday, but when I mentioned at work everyone knew what I was talking about....I don't get out much I guess. But I'm hoping in the near future that will change. Michael is done with school in May so I'm praying after that I will be able to stay home. I'm ready to stay home and take care of Kailye and get everything done I've neglected the past few years. I miss hanging out with my sisters and I would love to be able to do more things during the day with all my friends and family who have kids also....wink wink...nudge nudge :)

Speaking of things I've neglected....Tonight we are going to the temple, which is good because we don't go nearly as much as we should. It's only five minutes away, we have plenty of babysitters and we still don't get there! Pathetic I know. My grandparents are here from Guatemala (I don't think that's spelled right?) so most of my mom's family is going.Well I better go. I haven't eaten all day and I have to get ready.
