This has been a pretty quick week with Christmas approaching. Lots of last minute shopping (is it last minute shopping time already??) and frustration with Amazon Prime and two day shipping that slides into three days or longer. Sigh. I'm actually thinking of canceling Prime because I seem to get virtually no benefit from it relative to the cost. Anyway... I've been watching Impulse season two on Youtube this week and I love that show. So many things going on- is anyone else watching? 

In other news I hope everyone who celebrates has a happy and safe season!

This is one of my favorite recent ambience finds. It's just background noise for a space station but I love the occasional announcements that go out. Fun. 

I love this prehistoric ambience. 

Corner Boxes

  

This post is a bit different. Does anyone remember the corner boxes that used to adorn older comics? Up in the left hand corner, usually- Marvel and some of the other publishers used them for brand identification, I guess, or who knows why, but they were kinda cool. And then, like so many other traditions, they kinda faded away. So I thought I'd bring 'em back- or at least a few. It's amazing the rabbit hole you can fall down when you start looking this stuff up! There's a ton of these on Pinterest and just wherever on the Internets.
