Christmas, Vegas style.
We went to the Bellagio tonight, to check out their Christmas display. It was soo gorgeous! (Sorry, I didn't get any good shots of the displays. I don't really like pictures without family in them and it was sooo crowded it was hard to get a far away shot.)
Then we headed outside to catch the fountain display. It was also really cool, plus we made it outside about 2 minutes before it started, so we didn't even have to wait out in the cold too long.
Have I mentioned that I really enjoy hanging out with Greg's family?

makin' mommy proud
While the tv was turned off today, for a change, the girls turned to a different kind of entertainment, BOOKS!!!
We watch a lot tv at our house, we know that we shouldn't, but we do anyway. Well, the girls dug through their Christmas presents to find their books. Even though they can't read yet, they love to "read" the story by describing what's happening in the pictures. Shallon even got in on the action as Briley chatted away, "reading" her the story. Avalyn preferred to find her own private reading nook.

after Christmas goodies
Jan and I hit the after Christmas sales to stock-up on our Christmas decorations for next year. I was especially looking for some holiday fabric to make family stockings. I think I found some cute fabric and I definitely got some good deals. The "faith" sign was only $1.50. Plus I had soo much fun, I have an awesome mom-in-law! We even took Shallon with us and she did sooo well, a natural shopper!

Here's our little skater girl in-training:
Sorry that the video is sideways. I don't know how to fix it.
Wrap
Check out my cute wrap! My friend, Naomi, gave it to me and I love it soooo much! Shallon loves it too.

3 months
Our little angel is 3 months old today. And the time is flying by. Her sisters still adore her, thank goodness.
Some fun things that Shallon can do now:
*give huge, cheesy grins
*laugh when daddy tickles her thighs or when she can hear her sisters laughing
*attempt to swallow her fist whole

Santa!
A special visitor came to our ward Christmas Party...Santa!
Avalyn told him that she would like a pretty dress for Christmas. At a previous Santa meeting she asked him for new socks, apparently she thinks that she is lacking in the clothing department, but I beg to differ.
When Santa asked Briley what she would like for Christmas, her reply was, "A Happy Christmas."
And all 3 girls sat on Santa's lap without any crying involved, a first for our family.

jogging...
I finally did it!!! I got up this morning @ 6 am and went jogging. I have been telling anyone that would listen, that after I had Shallon I was going to start jogging. And now 3 months later, I finally did it! Now I just have to stick with it. Wish me luck. :)
ps. Thanks Heidi for the motivation to do something post worthy!
