Say Hello to Provo High's newest Student
So since I cut my bangs about a week ago I have been getting quite the attention at Provo High. Not just from students but teachers as well. Most of my students say that they love them, which I appreciate, but today I was getting a lot of "Oh, I didn't even recognize you. I thought you were a new student!" I seriously had a few people tell me that today. And my Vice Principal asked if I got a hair cut and then followed it up with the comment of "Well you look like you're 12, but you'll love it when you get older." I love my new bangs and I am amazed at the buzz they have caused. Who would have thought?
Go Nike or Go Home!!
This past weekend my bro-in law Jared turned the big 3-0. Jessa threw him a party and the theme was Nike. Greg and I decided to get all decked out and spent two days and nights at two different malls looking for just the right appearal. It was kind of crazy shopping becuase we were totally being name-brand shoppers. We only looked at things that were Nike. A bit snobbish I know. Well, we ended up finding some amazing outfits, headbands and wristbands to complete the look. We looked totally amazing and totally fit the part. We also gained a slight obession with Nike shoes and are on a continual hunt for the perfect kicks. It was a great party with great food and great people. So here's to you J-rod and here's to you Nike.....thank you both for being so great!

Marjorie B.
A few weeks ago my Gramma Brady, my dad's mom, passed away. We will miss her but know that she is so happy to be reunited with my Grandpa who passed away a few years earlier. It was a beautiful day filled with a lot of love and a lot of family and reminded me that families really can be together forever. We love you Gramma.

Peer Pressure Post
So we are sitting here watching some television and I am feeling much peer pressure from my beloved spouse to make a new post. Every time I decide to post I end up staying on this darn blog for hours. Devil. Anyway, this is long over due and worth sharing with our faithful readers. So a few weeks ago Greg and I (but mostly me) volunteered us to puppy-sit our hair-dresser's two puppies for five days. They were dropped off on a Tuesday and we had them until Sunday. We have been thinking about getting a puppy sometime in the future and thought this would be a good test to see if we could really handle it. Well we sure did learn a lot. The two puppies were so darn cute. Fergie, a miniturae Schnoodle and Darci, a minituature Dauchsand were the two puppies the Greg and I (but mostly Greg) took care of for those 5 days. We didn't really have any potty accidents except from Darci who had the nervous pee's. Luckily she would just happen to go on this big pillow that belonged to them. They loved to cuddle with us on the couch and were so cute and loving. Jessa brought Cali and Lola over and they were obsessed! They are both a little nervous around dogs but claim they love them. They actually did really well with them. Lola kept saying that Fergi was Cali and she was Darci. Cali wouldn't let Jessa leave until Fergie sat on her lap just one more time. So cute. They even took them outside on their leashes to use the restroom. Best part of the whole experience was when I discovered that you did need to carry a plastic bag around with you to pick up their business. I had taken them out a few times on my own but never taken a bag. One of these times I happened to be talking to my mom on the phone and the topic of "the bag" came up. I told her that Greg thought you had to have one but I was like no, we never had to do that with all the dogs we had grwoing up. Well surprise, surprise...I was wrong. My mom was like, Oh ya, you totally have to have a business bag with you. Oooops. Good thing there was snow to cover it with on the ground. I just figure it will turn into fertalizer by Spring, right?
