For those of you who aren't LDS, you may not get the humor in this video. But here is my Mom in her full glory!! My home stake put this together for the Relief Society Birthday dinner. Be warned, it is 15 minutes.

Not to be forgotten 2009, Part II (only one more after this)

This is the month we finally left the nest (again) and moved to Dallas, Texas. We lived in a hotel for a month (not recommended). For the 4th of July we went to "Boom Town" in Addison for fireworks (recommended).

August- Uncomfortably hot and humid. We tried to escape to the Dallas Aquarium, but as you will see from our hair and faces, it didn't work.

Thomas and I flew to Tennessee to help watch Natalie's kids while she and Shane were out-of-town, and help her get ready to move. 

 Thomas had a blast with his cousins.

 He went crazy after taking off his diaper and playing in the pool. He is so so funny.

Saw a lot of Dallas this month. It had "cooled down" to the 90's making it bearable to go outside.

Dallas Arboretum

Found this girl twirling for a photographer, we were pretty sure it was for her Quince.

Plano Balloon Festival. The city of Plano has dozens and dozens of hot air balloons, they are all different designs and colors and they all take off from a huge field. Thomas and I went with our friends Lindsay and Adam.

TEXAS STATE FAIR!! 

Thomas and I went during the day with friends Liesel and Maybree.
