Girl Cousins

Hi there!

My Girl Cousins  layout  is of my DD & 2 of her Cousins.....

 I've used Scraps Of Elegance - October kit & then added
 lots of Green Tara goodness....

The cluster here has some green ferns, a red lace pearl,
cherry blossom, apple blossom & over on the right side
 I have used a Pale pink Organza rosette ribbon...

 I cut a couple of the pink rosettes from the Organza ribbon & 

placed them though my cluster, along with a Rain Forest Butterfly, 

 a burnt orange satin rosette & a white primula flower.....

 Some dusty pink Herringbone ribbon,

I just LOVE this ribbon...

Here I've used the black self adhesive leaf garland along
with midnight blue Shimmer threaded ribbon!!
 Also! a couple of the Olive Wire stars &
some ever  so CUTE,  2 Toned Blue Cherry Blossom......

I thought I'd stamp onto the Green Ferns to give them a bit more 

of a grunge feel ....I've also popped in there a Black/Grey Primula 

& Blue/Grey Bead Stem.....

OH! I even used  the backing from the self adhesive leaf garland...

The Cream/Yellow Laurel flower is just GORGEOUS...

I have also used  a Lime Sakura & & a couple of Cherry blossoms!!  

 The teal colored Cherry blossoms were in fact White Cherry blossoms,

I have just sprayed them.....

 A few mini Rosebuds, a Gold wire Heart & a little bit of the 

Turquoise Butterfly on the wire ribbon....

Splashes Of Colour by Kim Price

I just love to create layouts that speak for themselves. I've used a favourite snapshot of my father and I taken just before we entered the church on my wedding day. It was such an exciting moment and filled with happiness, so I chose to use bright and happy colours to reflect this. I just adore these vivid orange and yellow Chrysanthemums and I have used these as the inspiration for this layout. So simple and yet they add such impact.

Aren't they just amazing!

And in a more classic style I have created this little jewellery gift box

 to hold a little something special. 

I had so much fun creating the cluster on the top

 of the box for this project and I really love the combination of

 deep, rich purples with mint green, creams and white. 

It really makes a statement for something so small. 

In this view you can see the row of white lace I have gesso'd into place as well as the addition of a single tiny purple flower placed at the opposite end for balance. 

This last detailed photo gives a better look at the cluster as well as the ribbon, cord and velvet leaf elements.

For my final project I am sharing a layout I created on kraft cardstock and featuring a variety of Green Tara flowers along with ribbon and laces. This was one of my favourite layouts I created in 2012 so I wanted to share this on the Green Tara blog as well. I just adore the beautiful colours of the Green Tara products against the kraft background - a stunning effect.

Halloween Shabby Green Tara Style
& An Unusual Layout for Me.....

"Incy Wincy Spider"



Miss Imogen was not in the mood for playing dress ups and 

wouldn't smile, no matter how hard we tried.

Green Tara Mesh & Satin Frill ribbon cut to look like banner pieces.

White Wire Cord used to thread through the banner and curl
 at each end, topped with a black Flower Spray.

Ripped up pieces of cobweb ribbon added here and there.

Larger cluster of beautiful Green Tara Blooms.

Smaller cluster of Green Tara Blooms.

More cobweb ribbon and scrapmatts Flourishes.

"New Ride"

I am totally hopeless at doing simple layouts these days, the less is more rule seams to escape me every time.
I just have to stick something on every empty space I can see.
 This month I challenged myself,  I wanted to try, but it didn't quite
 go to plan. It almost had me in a frenzy but after adding a
 few more bits I was finally happy.

I loved this bright background paper but it was too busy for
 the photos, so I gave it a coat of watered down white paint.

I knew I wanted to create a banner across the page so I started
with some Green Tara Rats Tail Cord,  cut the photos,
 and set about making random sized banner tags.

Adding a couple of small clusters of Green Tara flowers and
cutting up a Leaf ribbon in red to create small leaves in the clusters.

Another cluster of Green Tara flowers, this time using a 7cm petal flower
folded into four and lightly dusted with white ink.

Green Tara string in red was used to create a flower.
 A spring flower topped with a Cherry Blossom created yet
 another great flower.  Lastly I have used another 4cm petal which
was again folded into four and added to the bikes
 basket & then topped with a rose.

My brother coming home inspired me to create a card.
 It has been eight years since I last saw him.

"New House"

This was a sample piece of  Kaiser Craft paper and

 it was the perfect size for a card backdrop,

 topped off with Green Tara goodies of course.

Green Tara Silver Spray used to look like a tree. 

 Petals in lime were folded in half then the tops painted 

a little and layered to create the look of grass.

Tiny flowers and lace also from Green Tara.

My Angel on Earth

 

Hi everyone - it's my turn on the blog today and I have three 

layouts to share with you.

This first one features two photos of my little friend Emma.

Green Tara goodies lend themselves to any type of layout you 

want and I wanted soft and pretty for this one.

Green Tara's Polka Dot Organza Ribbon makes such beautiful

bows -& it comes in several colours.

I've used the new Wild Rose flower and the beautiful

Primula and 4cm Heirloom along with Roses and 

Velvet Leaves.

There are so many Green Tara ribbons and trims available

it is never difficult to find something to enhance any layout.

Here I've used Pale Pink Flower Edge Organza overlayed

with Pink Bead Garland, then I've added some of the new

Silver Diamante Trim.

I've tucked a little Rainforest Butterfly just behind the new

Wild Rose.   Both these products are available in several 

different colours.

The Apricot Wild Rose was just perfect for this layout.

I created this layout for a challenge over at CSI.

Green Tara Sakura and Gardenia are the main features of

this cluster.

One of my most favourite Green Tara flowers is the pretty and

delicate Primula.  I've teamed it here with a 4cm Heirloom and

some Roses and Velvet Leaves.

Add a little bit of Bud-n-Bow Ribbon and you have the perfect

finishing touch for your layout.
