Like kena erase like tht.

When you can't log in to the site, you never had problem accessing.
When people don't reply you when u call.
When your smses are also ignored.
When msn isn't working the way you want them to.
When the weather is already gloomy as it is.

When it feels like you've been isolated and nobody is there for you, cause everyone is too busy with their own lives.

It's just super depressing. (>_<,)

Please Help

6 black lab (mix) puppies were rescued on Saturday. They are
currently at my colleague's house. PLEASE help find them homes -
otherwise, it's to Animal Control . She has approx only 5 days. She
has bathed them, sprayed them for fleas and wormed them....but can't
keep them. She has lost count of the number of rescue groups that
she has contacted, only to be turned down. Please check with every dog
lover if they need a puppy ps ? Thanks
The problem is I received this email 3 days ago, so this means, the puppies have 2 more days!? So please help if you can. But please take them only if you are serious about adopting them or u know people who are. Thanks.

Yao and I went to the LP Concert at Padang back in 2004 and it was kinda disappointing. They invited a Korean band (can't even remember their name) for the opening act. And the opening lasted 45mins! All the waiting really pissed me off. But all was forgiven when LP come on stage cause I really enjoyed myself! But but but, I tot the concert ended too soon. When I think back about it, feel quite disappointed cause the Korean band took up too much of the time. I didn't go there to watch a band I never heard off and the band wasn't even impressive in anyway.

So this time round, I really really really hope that kinda thing won't happen again. Looking forward to a 100% performance from Linkin Park! SO So looking forward to it! Who wanna go with us?! :D

志明與春嬌 a.k.a Peter & Mary

志明與春嬌(Zhi Ming Yu Chun Jiao) by Mayday is 1 of our favourite songs. Yao and I use to sing it alot when we go to KTVs and when we play Mahjong. This song brings luck! Serious. But dun try, cause only work for us! hahahaha....

Anyway, Yao and I have this small joke we play among ourselves. It started one nite, when he started calling his bolster Mary and then pretend to sayang her just to piss me off. So I snatched the bolster from him to sayang also! But I call the bolster Peter! After that everytime we talk about our imaginary partner, I will bring Peter into the topic and Yao will talk about Mary.

So, it was after the mayday concert that yao found this review. And guess what?! If you read the article, its stated that the english translation for our favourite song 志明與春嬌 is actually Peter & Mary! So qiao right?! hahaa...

If I Ain't Got You

Some people live for the fortune
Some people live just for the fame
Some people live for the power yeah
Some people live just to play the game
Some people think that the physical things
Define what's within
I've been there before
But that life's a bore
So full of the superficial

Some people want it all
But I don't want nothing at all
If it ain't you baby
If I ain't got you baby
Some people want diamond rings
Some just want everything
But everything means nothing
If I ain't got you

Good to note for EZlink Card Users

Got this through email, dunnoe who to give credit to. Nonetheless, gotta thank the person for sharing this info, good for us to take note of also. But I remember seeing some posters on buses that warn users about this already.
Out of curiosity, I called the Translink enquiry line 1800-225-5663 it seems the undermentioned fact is absolutely true. They charge one full fare + 63cents for second deduction if flashed at the front entrance door, but willing to refund if complaint is lodged at the above tele' number within 5 working days, regretably who is so free to go through the process, so it's better to avoid such a catch. Maybe we should let more people be aware of the above misleading above transaction...

Helpful tips for those use EZ Link card.

To those who always use ez card. Like to bring to your attention on local bus service provider.

Normally, when you board the bus, you flash your ezlink card and move in and when you get down the bus, you flash your card again at the exit door (located at the middle of the bus). We all know that if we forget to flash the card, full fare will be deducted from the card.

Below is something not known to public:-

If you alight from the front door (the entrance) and you flash your card while exiting without informing the bus driver, the card will capture another entrance fare instead of exit fare thus meaning that two full fares will be deducted from the card as no exit was being captured for the two entrances.

For example, you board a crowded bus at Pasir Ris (where it terminates at Jurong East) and decided to get down ten stops later. If you flash your card at the front door without informing the bus-driver, a second entrance fare will be captured instead of exit fare thu s you are paying for two full fares ( 2 X $ 1.90! = $ 3.8 0 ) instead of one fare (approximately $0.83).

This is a useful info. Here's the solution:-

Go to the "big" machine (ie machine for U to top up the card) located at the MRT stations.
1) Insert your EZ link card
2) Press the function key "Check card"
3) Press "more"

The above function will show U the last 20 transactions. Information on the fare deducted, bus no, boarding time and the boarding and alighting point will be reflected on the screen.

Hope the above information is useful to U. Please pass this email to people you know so that they will not pay extra charges for nothing and burn a big hole in their pockets!

Last but not least, call the hotline line: 1800 767 4333 when the incorrect fares are deducted.
In case you guys haven't seen the Ride and Redeem posters around, you can redeem stuffs when you spend $1 more from the previous week. That's if you're interested la.

Oh and if you are a SingTel user, you can SMS iris to check when the next bus will arrive (chargeable at $0.05 by SingTel). It's quite useful ah. For more info read here. (^_^)

Abit of Ugly Dolls. I like.

Meet HaGao
and ah Butt...

Very cute rite? They look a little like the Ugly Dolls game we played at Settlers. I bought ah Butt for myself last nite, and since my sis like it too. I bought 1 for her also. In return she bought me a cardigan too! hehee...that's one of the reason why I like shopping with da jie, cause we buy each other gifts. (Won't feel so guilty mah! hahaa...) Mei, even though you're not there, we got you something also! Good right? hehee...

These lil dolls can be found at Gracious Aires, Far East Plaza, Basement. Not sure bout the unit no, the shop is in one of the smaller alleys, selling alot of very interesting bags from Japan and Korea. Dolls are hand-made from Korea also. It's quite pricey ah, one of the reason why I din get it for mei mei (>_<), but next time you want, I bring you there, you choose one for yourself k?

Bitching...just bitching

It's been almost a month now, I think. The interior design company who we share our office space with employed this guy (let's call him Mr G) And today, I wanna tell you all about Mr G. Cause he cracks me up everyday. Not cause he's a funny chap, but because of the things he do and don't do.

Quote from my colleague's blog(who shares the same sentiments)
he had this extremely high pitched voice which totally made me laugh to my computer screen everytime.. (but he's not gay)
he likes to squeak when he drops something..
he likes to say alot of "erhm erhm erhm" when he speaks.. ard 4 to 5 times in a sentence..
he likes to SKIP across the office..
he likes to talk to himself at his desk.. (seriously i did not see him talking to the phone)

Tell me how to not laugh?! hahahhaa.. =x
It's funny when he talks on the phone cause of all his erhm erhm erhms...its damn irritating also, plus he love to act cute when he talks, his voice is not as high pitched as it is actually, you can hear it from the way he talks, he just talk in the act cute tone, that's why it's high pitched. And yah I can assure you, he is not gay, cause gays normally looks very good. Plus plus, which guy you know actually skips lil steps when they walk?!!! The image of a tutu appears on him everytime he does that! :p

And he's quite a lazy bum you know? Cause their supplier comes over quite frequent and he don't go open the door for them! He always wait for us to open the door for him. Then he will stand up and greet his supplier. If you know ur supplier is coming then get ready and answer the door when it rings la. Always make us do the footwork for him. @#$^%$^

Sometime back
I left my keys at home and couldn't get into my office. So...I waited outside my office for someone with keys to come in, and Mr. G happen to be the one.

Mr G: 'Morning, you're locked outside?'

Then I nodded. (din wanna reply him verbally, cause it's quite duh right? If I'm not locked outside then why am I standing there right?)

Then he stood there, for like 3 seconds staring at me waiting for me to say something back. It's as if he's programmed this way. If you say something and that person don't reply, you wait for the reply before you proceed.

Me: 'yah...I'm locked outside, why else will I wanna stand here?' (but I smiled la, din wanna be rude mah, make it look like I'm kidding)

Mr G: 'Oh..oh...keys!' (squeakily. -_-")

But that's not the end.

After we went into the office, he pointed to one of my boss's lamps and asked.

Mr G: 'Why is the lamp always on?'

Me: 'Cause the plant needs the light?'

Mr G: 'Oh then how come the plant outside (pointing to the one at the entrance) no need?'

Me: 'Cause its a fake?'

Mr G: 'Oh soo this is a real plant!' (In the squeakish tone and then walk over to inspect the plant as if I din convince him the plant is real.)

. . .

A Coincidence
My dad sent me to work this morning and when we were turing into the junction towards our office, there was this nissan trailing us. It was a older woman (probably 40s-50s) driving and she kept honking at us.

1st off, that was a 1 lane road, but it's big enough for 2 cars. My dad drives a kangoo so its slightly bigger la, but she has enough space to overtake us, that's if she dare, but she didn't. There were cars in front so we can't go any faster. So after the turn, my dad slow down to let her overtake so that he can trail her and honk back at her.

So there I was in the car, whining about what the old hag is doing and was saying she so stupid, like that also dare to drive etc. (You know the usual bitching.)

My dad then pull over at the side of the road to drop me, while she drove into my office compound. So when I walked to my lobby, I saw Mr G getting off from that car. What a small world rite? To think the stupid old fuck old lady I was bitching about is actually his mum. And I can somewhat guess why Mr G is the way he is. His mum sure looked like a stern woman.

To end off let me show you a picture my colleague drew of him. :p

I know we very mean but...but you tell me how to not laugh?! :x

Morning drama...

Walking towards the lift at my work place this morning, I saw a mother walk away from her husband and her son. Her son pleading and asking mum if she'll be home early. There was a sense of pride on her face as she turn to face them, she knows how much her son wants her to be around, but she answered him with a helpless no. Telling him how she has to work late again.

The kid obviously, heard this a million time and is sick of mum not being around. He started shouting at his mum for not being there for him. A kid barely 6, stood in the lobby screaming, "Mum wants work, don't want me! Why can't mum come home early tonight? Why mum don't want to be with me?!"

Her face fell as her husband pulled his son into the lift. Then she helplessly walked away. The dad assured the kid that he will come pick him up from the child care early tonight, but the kid refused, saying, "I dowan, I dowan, I want mum. Mum dowan me already." Dad assured the kid that his mum still loves him alot, but the kid wasn't really convinced, he looked down on the floor and went all quiet cause he knows Mum won't be around again.

I guess this is another reason why couples don't want to have kids nowadays, cause they simply have no time for them. I feel sad for the kid, but I feel sad for his parents too. Having to juggle between their work and him, making sure their life ahead will continue to stay comfortable.

WooWOooWoo

Hello. Been so busy feeling like crap, so no time to update. My little pea-brain have been thinking alot about my future and how it all seems to bleak, but to hell with it, if I'm not gonna do anything about it then what's the point of thinking? So, I found my resolve. I hope I stick through it this time. And to the ppl around me, I'm sorry I have been MIA-ing.

So, a couple of nice things to show off!!! My boss got me and my colleague a cactus each. We went to a plant farm (hmmm...is that what they call it? The place where they sell alot alot alot of plants?) and we each picked a plant we like.

This is mine. I'm calling him spuik. Nice rite? hehee...

Then I got myself a optical mouse afew days ago from Marina Square. Cost me 15 bucks. Think it goes very very well with my mac. But after trying it out for a day, I decided to stick to my old microsoft mouse. Cause its too flat, quite tiring to use. BUT...it's not useless k? I still use it once in while! (Must say, if not ppl say I waste $$$ again...hahaa)

Driving has been fun but its getting more stressful now. Like so many things to check. Check mirror, check blindspot, cannot do this, cannot do that. But its still fun la, and the instructors at CDC are very nice and patient. If anyone wanna learn can consider to come to UBI. But here got alot of cars la. Don't say I never say.

Last Sat, I attended a Flashmove User Group and met other Flash Users in Singapore. Very impress by them cause they can write codes which I'd probably take forever to figure out like they're typing essay. It just flow out of their hands so simply. If anybody interested to know more about Flash, can check out their forum. They're all very helpful there.

Oh and I'm gonna go for my OP next week to remove my wisdom teeth. Had to remove all of them cause of the position they're in. No choice. Wish me luck, and hope that everything goes well. Maybe next week I can update more also, cause I have 8 days MC after the OP. ho ho ho ho...

Last but not least, wanna bring to your attention that Jo has this very interesting website, lelonglelongbarangbarang.blogspot.com. Where they're selling 2nd hand stuff at cheap prices! Some as low as $1. Better to give anyway things you don't need then keep them around to trap dust right? Plus can help conserve resources by reusing items. So go check it out and you might find something you want there.

$59.92

For not knowing I have a driving lesson today.
For now showing up for lesson today.

$59.92 == POOOF! KAPOOOT! GOONE!

I'll take it that this $60 taught me a good lesson. Learn it well PJ, and don't let it happen again. Why for fuck did they charge so much for driving?!

Got a question for you all, can we take school half way then switch to private not? Cause it's getting so expensive, and I'm sick of being broke! And that amt is for a non-peak slot. A peak period time-slot will cost $70!

I need a 2nd income. Boooohooooo!

Don't take my cake and eat it like your own.

It's quite a coincidence that this statement actually applies to 4 scenarios surrounding me life now. It's so revolting. To claim something that is not even yours to begin with and then act like you own it. But the world is filled with people like that. So in order to protect that 'ownership'. I will remind myself to only show the cake to people I trust, and if I like them enough, I might just share it.

Shooo!!!! You disgusting thing...give me back my cake and get out of my life.

A little bit of triviality

Ever wonder why our everyday lives follow a certain routine? Like how you'd sit up by the side of your bed, give your eyes a good rub before standing up and then head off to the bathroom? or how you'd wash your face before you shampoo your hair? etc...

This morning, for some reason, I soaped myself before I shampoo my hair (its normally the other way round) and I found myself standing in front of the toiletries for a good 2 mins, wondering what I should do next. It's like these simple routines we do everyday are so programmed into us that we don't even have to think about what to do next, it just comes to us so naturally. And when I got the sequence mixed up, I actually have to put in more effort to remind myself what to do next. You get what I mean?

It's the little things that shapes us and our lives. The small choices we make day in day out that brings us to where we are, which will continue taking us to our future. The gift of life is such a amazing thing. The great architect who created us truly is amazing. Today is one of those days when my mind is bogged with weird thoughts like this.

Oh well, its already Wednesday ppl. Time seems to go pass really fast nowadays, and its not exciting, hasn't been exciting for some time now. Maybe it's time to reshuffle those routines.

Cat & Dog thing...

Just now after I reach home, my mother asked me if I were the one who flipped Kitty's cushion over. I denied and so did my sis. So as we were all wondering who would've done that to poor kitty, I went to flip the cushion to put it back in place, only to have a whole chuck of puke fall out on my feet. EWWWW....so that's what happened. Kitty puked in her bed, and turned it around so that no one will notice the mess she created. -_-"

Anyway, this reminded me of something I chanced upon in newpaper sometime back, thought its interesting to share. I had a good laugh when I saw it.

EXCERPTS FROM A DOG'S DIARY

Day number 180
8:00 am - OH BOY! DOG FOOD! MY FAVORITE!

9:30 am - OH BOY! A CAR RIDE! MY FAVORITE!

9:40 am - OH BOY! A WALK! MY FAVORITE!

10:30 am - OH BOY! A CAR RIDE! MY FAVORITE!

11:30 am - OH BOY! DOG FOOD! MY FAVORITE!

12:00 noon - OH BOY! THE KIDS! MY FAVORITE!

1:00 pm - OH BOY! THE YARD! MY FAVORITE!

4:00 pm - OH BOY! THE KIDS! MY FAVORITE!

5:00 PM - OH BOY! DOG FOOD! MY FAVORITE!

5:30 PM - OH BOY! MOM! MY FAVORITE!

EXCERPTS FROM A CAT'S DIARY

DAY 752 - My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre little dangling objects. They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while I am forced to eat dry cereal. The only thing that keeps me going is the hope of escape, and the mild satisfaction I get from ruining the occasional piece of furniture. Tomorrow I may eat another houseplant.

DAY 761 - Today my attempt to kill my captors by weaving around their feet while they were walking almost succeeded, must try this at the top of the stairs. In an attempt to disgust and repulse these vile oppressors, I once again induced myself to vomit on their favorite chair ... must try this on their bed.

DAY 765 - Decapitated a mouse and brought them the headless body, in attempt to make them aware of what I am capable of, and to try to strike fear into their hearts. They only cooed and condescended about what a good little cat I was...Hmmm. Not working according to plan.

DAY 768 - I am finally aware of how sadistic they are. For no good reason I was chosen for the water torture. This time however it included a burning foamy chemical called "shampoo." What sick minds could invent such a liquid. My only consolation is the piece of thumb still stuck between my teeth.

DAY 771 - There was some sort of gathering of their accomplices. I was placed in solitary throughout the event. However, I could hear the noise and smell the foul odor of the glass tubes they call "beer". More importantly I overheard that my confinement was due to MY power of "allergies." Must learn what this is and how to use it to my advantage.

DAY 774 - I am convinced the other captives are flunkies and maybe snitches. The dog is routinely released and seems more than happy to return. He is obviously a half-wit. The bird on the other hand has got to be an informant, and speaks with them regularly. I am certain he reports my every move. Due to his current placement in the metal room his safety is assured. But I can wait, it is only a matter of time...

End off with another quote I heard from Jo (if I din remember wrongly ah)
"Treat a Dog well and he'd treat you as his King. Treat a Cat well and he'd think that he is King." But but but...I stilll like cats better! hehee...

The Moral

Remember my dream? Here's the moral behind it:

I just did something I sooooooo regret. That's for faking generosity, PJ. ARGH!!!!! FUG!!!! :(

Monday, June 04, 2007

PJ goes back to school.

It's been afew months since I started on my Web course with 3dsense Media School. I think I really enjoy it eh. I'm mid-way through Module 3 now and it's been quite fun actually.

Module 1 was more of a refreshment course, learning the very very basic of web all over again. That was fun but towards the later part of the course, it became boring because I think I know most of the stuff oredi. PLUS, I have a question guru in my class and he have endless questions to ask during every lesson. There are times when I really feel like smacking his face for the stupid questions he ask, but because it is Module 1 (For beginners), so fine, since he has no prior knowledge in the subject, I tried to be patient and wait for the lecturer to reply him, questions after questions.

But very very very very very much to my horror, he took up Module 2 too!!!! :( And yes, he is still asking dumbass questions. Oh my Buddha, I hate that guy! The class is smaller compared to Mod 1, there's only 3 of us now and I find the lesson content very (I'm trying to find the right word here...) insightful. (yes! that's the word) Module 2 is about PHP and mySQL. When I went for my first lesson, I was really lost cause I never do programming before but lesson 2 was much better and I understand better about it now. I'm just very excited with what I can do. Although I haven't really have to time to start on it. *guilty*

Module 3 is about Flash again. Initially I din wana go for module 3 cause I was afraid that I'm not gonna learn what I want and also cause this module is 10 weeks long and its on every Monday. (partly because I'm using up my savings also.) Can you imagine going to class every monday after work? It's Monday blue blue leh! BHoooo....but then again, I am curious also, scared if I dun go I might miss out on something I don't know! Which there probably will be! So contradicting rite? Plus the good news is question Guru is not joining this class.

Anyway, so far I really enjoy the lessons and the lecturer has a very interesting way of teaching us Action Script. He always emphasis on the logic behind the code in stead of writing the code itself. This is good because script we can learn and copy from other places, but logic, you just have to gasp the concept behind it and you can't learn that just by copying scripts. The only scary thing is, he actually 'test' our knowledge behind the scripts. I really regret all those lessons where I nod my head blindly cause when he ask me questions now, I can't answer them!!!!

I have class tonight. But I haven't do my homework yet. bleah....die die die...tonite dunnoe how I will die. I feel like a sec school kid again. Oh and THANKS Dee...for all the information you gave me. I'll try to start on my project when I feel like it. HAHAHAHA!!!

She didn't know she's being a snob.

Yesterday, I was at the bakery opp. my blk when I saw one of my client. Some of you might know who it is cause I've been bitching abt her since day 1! Yup...the mousey lady. *shudders* Anyway, I din deliberately hide from her, but I was hoping she won't see me, but she did.

So she said hi and asked: "You stay here ah?"

Me: "Yup, I stay there. (pointing in the direction of my blk.) You? What are you doing here?"

She replied with her hands covering her mouth like what she's gonna tell me is something she's really ashame of: "Oh no la, my husband's family stays around here. We don't stay here la. We stay in CONDO one."

Me: "Oh...okie..."

- Slience -

After her husband paid, she turned and said good bye to me.

Hmmm...so awkward hor? I was still wondering why she had to emphasis on the fact that she stays in a Condo? Heartland not good enough for her perhaps? Anyway, I called Yao to tell him about it cause I really think its quite a funny thing to say and Yao said, "Maybe some people look down on others but don't know about it themselves." He got a point there eh. Maybe she really dunnoe what she said can be offensive to some people. Not to me though, cause it just further proves how insecure she is.

Dream dream dream...Ddrreeeeeaaamm...

Yesterday's lesson was quite stressful eh. My lecturer gave us a simple problem and wanted us to write a code in ActionScript to solve it. Like surprise quiz like that. Suddenly, I feel like I'm back in secondary school days sitting for Maths exam like tht. bleah....It sucks to not know the answer! So I'm gonna try to understand the AS more, so that the next time he ask, I CAN ANSWER!!!! GRRR....

That aside, I had a weird dream this morning.

I was in the woods with someone. Can't quite rem who it is though. Anyway, there was this snail on the floor and then Professor Dumbledore (from Harry Potter) and his Phoenix came in. And for some reason, the bird seems like its searching for the snail. So I thought I'd help the snail get away from the bird. I saw the snail curl up into its shell hiding from them and I thought I'd give it a hand, so I picked the snail up even though I'm really really afraid of snails and started to run from them.

As I ran, I started to feel like my hands are getting hotter and hotter and suddenly it occurred to me that the snail is poisonous. So I dropped it. And at that point I was at the beach. the beach has high salt content so obviously when the snail fell it was screaming in pain. I can't pick it up cause when I see it bubbling I was so afraid.

Then for some reason I was transported to somewhere far away. And I keep trying to run back to the beach to save the snail but the route is so filled with obstacle and I just can't find the way back to the beach. Actually judging from the time I was lost, I believe the snail has already disintegrate into nothing but I just had to keep trying. Cause I wanna believe that it is still alive.

And because of this, I refuse to wake up. Not unless I get back to the beach, to save the snail. Anyway, my mum manage to wake me up. So when I was bathing, I kept thinking back and wondered. If I didn't pick that snail up, it might have survived cause it has its shell and the phoenix might not have found him. Plus it is poisonous so it should have been able to protect itself. But because of me, the snail ended up in a place so horrible and had to go through such a painful death. So sinful right?

And another thing to add, I haven't seen Harry Potter for dunnoe how long already, so dun ask me why Prof Dumbledore appeared in my dream. Although I really wish that the next time I see Prof Dumbledore he will give me 4 magic numbers. hahaa...

Poor snail. I feel so sad for him. But I believe dreams have their own meaning. So I'm still trying to figure out what the moral of my dream is. :p

Before I go, Calvin sent this to me so I share with yall. Thank you Calvin. :D

Hooker, what a looker, walk away!

Carry dresses like a kid for fun,
Licks her lips like they're something other,
Tries to tell you life has just begun,
But you know she's getting something other
Than the love from her mother

Everybody's gonna love today,
Love today, love today
Everybody's gonna love today,
Anyway you want to, anyway you've got to,
Love love me, love love me, love love.

Girl with a groove with the big bust on,
Big bust on, big bust on.
Wait till your mother and your papa's gone,
Papa's gone
Momma, momma papa, shock shock me,
Shock shock me, shock shock.

Of the same Mold

Everybody loves to tell us how my family looks like we're all cast from the same mold. After hearing that for many years now, I suddenly have a very interesting picture in my head.

Inspired by the Traditional Russian Dolls (a.k.a Nested Dolls or Stacking Dolls). Somewhat illustrates that point right?

Very long never update already, suddenly dunnoe what to post anymore. I use to save alot of drafts that I don't post as my diary. Nowadays I write those in my head and then forget about it when I get home.

Actually, I'm not quite sure what I'm busy with. My module 2 project is long past the deadline and I haven't really started on it. See, the lecturer told us on the last day of her lesson that she don't really have a deadline for us, as long as we hand it in, we'd get our cert. So even though its stated in our project brief that we have to hand it in 2 weeks after the module, none of us did it. I rather she not let us know how lenient she is. She took all the motivation away. But I can't blame her can I? I'm the one without the discipline. -_-" And now, we have to start with my module 3 project soon. How like that?

Where is the trust? Where is my privacy?

I know you've been looking into my computer when I'm not around. There's something call the recent folder and viewing history. The next time you wanna spy on me, remember to clear the history. Maybe PJ is being sensitive again. Nope, not really, cause folders I haven't accessed since so long ago still appear in my viewing history. I don't think so. And if PJ is not the one who went to those folders then who can be? Since you were the one who was using my com when I left?

Even though, this isn't really my computer, and even though this thing belongs to you. That doesn't give you the right to look into my stuff. You wanna see the works I've done for you ok. Why did you look into my personal folder? The one I put my name on. And obviously, anyone with respect for other people's privacy will not go into the PEIJIA folder without her permission. Not even if you own the machine. Dammit.

A Reason, a Season, or a Lifetime

People come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime. When you figure out which one it is, you will know what to do for each person.

--------------------------

When someone is in your life for a REASON . . .
It is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally, or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend, and they are! They are there for the reason you need them to be.

Then, without any wrong doing on your part, or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end.

Sometimes they die.
Sometimes they walk away.
Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand.

What we must realise is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered. And now it is time to move on.

--------------------------

When people come into your life for a SEASON . . .
Because your turn has come to share, grow, or learn. They bring you an experience of peace, or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it! It is real! But, only for a season.

--------------------------

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons; things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person, and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

So...am I your Reason, a Season or a Lifetime?

Blessed I am.

Got this in my mail today. Something touched me when I was reading it. How true and how often do we take things for granted. I know I am blessed, cause I always have my family, my friends and Yao. I am blessed cause I have a job I like, I get to take a course I like, I have a understanding boss who gives in to my tantrums. I don't worry for my next meal, I don't worry bout having a roof over my head. All in all. I am blessed. But yet, I take everything for granted...
There is a blind girl who hates herself just because she is blind.

She hates everyone, except her loving boyfriend. He's always there for her. She tells him that if she can only see the world, she will marry him.

One day, someone donates a pair of eyes to her. She can now see everything including her boyfriend.

Her boyfriend asks her, "Now that you can see the world, will you marry me?"

The girl is shocked when she realises that her boyfriend is blind too; she refuses to marry him.

Sad and heart-broken, her boyfriend walks away in tears.

He later writes a note to her saying: "Just take care of my eyes dear."

This is how human mental thoughts changes when their status changed.

Only few remember what life was before, and who has always been there even in the most painful situations.

----------------------------------------------------

Life Is A Gift.

Today before you think of saying an unkind word,
Think of someone who can't speak.

Before you complain about the taste of your food,
Think of someone who has nothing to eat.

Before you complain about your husband or wife,
Think of someone who's crying out to God for a companion.

Today before you complain about life,
Think of someone who died too early.

Before you complain about your children,
Think of someone who desires children but yet barren.

Before you argue about chores to be done in the house,
Think of the people who are living in the streets.

Before whining about the distance you drive,
Think of someone who travels the same distance by walking.

And when you are tired and complain about your job,
Think of the unemployed, the disabled and those who wished they had your job.

And before you think of pointing the finger or condemning another,
Remember that not one of us are without sin.

And when depressing thoughts seem to get you down,
Put a smile on your face and thank God you're alive and still around.
Today I learn to be Thankful.

It's oredi Wednesday!

Work Work Work...
This week very busy. Everyday very busy. I think I'm abit stress liao. :p Anyway, my boss told me to conduct the coming designer interview. Hmmm....he think so highly of me rite? Actually when he told me that I was quite happy la, but I act like I dun really wanna do it. Ge siao abit mah! hahaaa.... Actually, I think the main reason is because he's busy with his stuff now la, so got no time to interview them himselves. But I'm not quite sure if I can do it myself eh.

Yesterday, one of our client came over to our office. Actually, he's one of the clients whom we're really close to. (Some of you might know who he is ah) but I think that chap is getting too damn comfortable with us. I mean just because we handle all your marketing materials doesn't make us YOUR in-house designers lo! I was working on some kiddy stuff for another client and he came over to check on his project. When he saw what I was doing, he said, "What the hell are you doing?!" So I told him it's another project for my other client. I dunnoe why his reaction so big, maybe he thought I was drawing thoes stuff for fun la.

Then the other day when I left on time, he happen to be around, then he said, "Woah, PJ on the dot ah." Aye hello, you got no life doesn't mean I dun have mine rite? Anyway, for once I was quite fast with my retort, "It's quality not quantity. I don't believe in staying late for the sake of staying late." And then I gave a lil smile. He oso smile la, but I damn song inside. He come over like how often? When I stay late he wasn't around to see also what. How dare he judge me base on one occasion? And leaving on time is my right isn't it?! I do OT because I cannot finish my work, if I did everything I have to and finish them on time then why can't I leave on time? Grrr....but most of the time he is a nice person la(minus the sarcasm).

My Younger Sister

I think my younger sis is actually quite a creative person eh, culinary wise. She makes ordinary things extraordinary. Not exactly very extraordinary, but...aiyah you know what I mean? Small lil things she take care of.

Yesterday, by the time I got home after work, still haven't have dinner. Actually I was very hungry, but cause its so late oredi, so I thought that I should just forget about it. Then when I got home, my younger sister told me she haven't taken hers also. So she decided to cook instant noodles for us.

When she gave me mine, I asked her how come there's veggie inside, then she told me that's the only thing she can find to add in. Then I remember, everytime she cook noodles, surly got extra ingredients inside one. She just don't like it plain. Actually I also dun like plain instant noodles, but I can't be bothered. But she, will take the effort to cook whatever other stuff we have in the house. And through her hands, even instant noodle can look like something people serve in restaurants.

Once she made a sandwich that is sooooooo delicious! There was egg, ham, cheese and some other ingredients in it ah. The bread was toasted, the egg was semi-cooked so when you take a bite out of it, the yolk will come flowing into your mouth. Just thinking about it now, I can feel myself salivating. (yum yum yum yum!) It was so good lo! And to think it's just a sandwich we're having at home.

Oh and She use to draw faces on the eggs in the fridge and everytime I see them I will laugh out loud. Abit bo liao la, but very fun lo. To see stuff like that at the most unexpected places.

Answer to Whose Fish Puzzle

Remember the Whose Fish Puzzle I posted some time ago? Actually I wanted to show Michelle the sketch I did to solve it, but it's too messy and after looking at it, I doubt you'll understand what I wrote. hahaa...So I found the answer on joemaller.com he did a step by step break down of how he came out with the answer.

BUT....while googling for the solution, I also found the REAL answer for the puzzle. (Or so this person claim)
Solution to the Einstein Quiz: the Fifth Pet

Almost all the answers to the Einstein Quiz I have seen on the web go through the same mechanical process to solving the puzzle. They chart out the problem, lay out each clue graphically, and slowly build a picture of which persons, drinks and pets are in which houses. Its a logical, technical and involved process. If you do all this you inevitably conclude that it is the German who has fish.

But is this the right way to solve the problem? No its not! Nowhere in the problem, except in the question, is the word fish found. Thus the fifth pet might just as well be elephants as fish. After a lot of work you can safely conclude that the German has the fifth pet, but you have to ASSUME that the fifth pet is fish in order to conclude the German has fish. But you have no basis for making this assumption. Note that Einstein was very careful to separate the "Facts" from the "Question" in this puzzle.

So the correct answer to the Einstein Quiz is: You have no idea if anyone keeps fish or not. Once you grasp the nature of the problem correctly, its rather simple to solve. And it is just like Einstein to give us a puzzle like this, for he stressed examining assumptions, and once wrote: "The important thing is to not stop questioning."
He does have a point there, but I rather believe that I'm one of the smart people. Hahahaha.... (self-denial)

Go KL Touch Wall

I'm back from KL! :D Dunnoe why when I'm in Sg my phone calls and smses dun seem to be as much. I tot that I dun have to inform everyone cause nobody will contact me, plus I'll only be gone for ONE day. Oh well, once in awhile its good to feel impt again. hahaa...

So my trip to KL. It was a long way there, and I fell asleep in the car. My boss recorded me sleeping, so freaking unglam! I snatched his phone and deleted the video the moment he showed it to me. Actually, I really hate it when ppl film me sleeping! I mean I'm tired so leave me alone la, why must film down? Last time when I was in india, Jit, Senthil and Hazzie enjoy filming me when I doze off at work. Once or twice nehmind, the 3rd time Jit got it from me! I know I dun look good when I sleep oso la, so leave me alone when I'm sleeping coz when I'm tired I'm VERY cranky, so if I catch u filming me. I will flare up for sure! Don't say I over-react! I just hate it.

Okie, that aside, we saw like 3 accidents along the way. One of which had a over-turned truck. Freaky! But their reaction were like, 'This kinda stuff very common on Malaysia Highway.' Okie lo. I'm a SG Mountain Turtle. hehee...

When we reached KL, we went to our client's office to tour a lil around. And by then I still have no idea where the event is held. And so I asked my boss, where the product launch is held at. And he told me he din know either. So we asked our client and he said he have no clue too! So wierd rite? We travel all the way there but dunnoe where we're heading. So we asked the GM from the Malaysia office and guess what?! He said he dunnoe the name of the place but he'll bring us there.

So I went there, not knowing where we're heading to. Ends up the place we're heading to is . . .
It's definately smaller then the one in SG but KL people sure dress very well to club! And and and the girls there are all so cute! I know I shouldn't be saying this but yah, they are all so pretty! (I'm gonna ban Yao from clubbing in KL! heh heh)

So it wasn't much of a product launch in the end, more of a company dinner. They booked the entire place for the event and had DJs hosting the events, as well as alot of celebrities. Sad to say, I know none of the celebrities there. :p Not even when the GM told me we're at the VIP area and the people in front of us are ALL celebrities. (Maybe that's why they all dress so well)

When we were playing some silly drinking game (the 5, 10, 15 game), this lady asked if she can join us and she is damn good la! I think I spend most of my nite hanging out with her. Coz she's very nice.

When we went back to the hotel, I had to sleep alone and most of you should know by now, I have problem sleeping in foreign places. So I stayed up till 4am before I can sleep. I watched 3 episodes of Bleach while trying to sleep and in the end feel more freaked then before. (coz Bleach is a Anime about Death Gods and Souls!) hahaa...so dumb.

The next day, we went back to the office for a short meeting before having Bak Kut Tae for lunch. They keep saying its a must try when we go to KL, but I dun think its anything special eh.

Oh well, the good thing is I had fun and I'm finally back! I'm gonna have to work on my website now. Got a project to complete by this Sat! Yesterday, I burn mid-night oil to finish it. Kinda like it but I feel so tired now!!!! Wanna see a sneak preview?

Swee rite? hehee...

Very. Random.

This is a very random entry:
About My New Thumdrive Yao got me a 2GB thumbdrive! hehehee....Thank you Yao!!!!

I Won Some Money!
Played MJ with my friends on Friday and I won 70 bucks! Woooot! hehehee...But the next day, I did my hair, gave Yao a treat and did some shopping. I think I end up spending 3 times what I won. :p

About A Hair Cut
I've been wanting to do something to my hair coz it's getting so damn messy. Anyway, I went to this Saloon in TPY call Cabello Casa, where I've been going to for the past year. Cause the stylist there, Ben, is professional, gentle and nice. So I always go back there for my hair cuts. But They were busy on Saturday and I don't have much time cause I have other stuff to do, so I went to another Saloon around the area. If you've never seen bad then you won't know how good, good is. Serious.

This other saloon I went to, the girl who washed my hair was very rough so at times she'll tug my hair a lil hard and I had to tell her 2 times that it hurts. Then the cloth they use, its obvious they've been using for many many times. Even my kitchen cloth looks cleaner. And when they were steaming my hair, the lady gave me a cloth and told me, if got water drip down remember to wipe it off myself. I dyed my hair and trimmed it a lil and actually I think I'm quite happy with the end result. But the process ah.

Cabello Casa has soothing background music when you step in. And they offer drinks, snacks and magazines to you when you sit down. The stylist is gentle and he always ask you what you wanna do to your hair before he begins. Then he'll suggest what he'd do to you and explain to you each time he does something to your hair. Oh and the massage when they wash your hair, really very nice, coz not only do they massage your head, they do the neck area as well! And when you leave the saloon you feel a whole lot more relaxed then before which is really nice.

In this other saloon, all I can hear throughout my stay there was woman talking very loudly and they offer water to you in a cup that isn't very clean. And all the hair tugging. Although, the lady who did my hair is very experienced and she did a good job with my hair but I left that place feeling more tensed up then before. grrr.... I don't think I'd ever go back there again.

About Real Good Food!

We went to Marina Square's Thai Express for Dinner on Sat cause Yao kept saying I should try the steamboat. So we went there and REALLY, the steamboat very good. It's quite small, so if I'm hungry I think I can finish it all by myself but because I had VERY heavy lunch, so I shared it with Yao (he had a Phat Thai all by himself!), which turns out to be just nice for the 2 of us. The only thing is I think the soup is too hot. My stomach cannot take it, so I threw up later in the nite. Otherwise, it was all good. Hmmm...think next time I go, I'd ask for less chili. :p

Introducing Diver! The anti-late machine!
My boss and I had a bet. We will try our best to not be late for work. If we go to work late, we'd have to give Diver $2. Which we will use the accumulated amt to have a year-end company retreat. Where we go will depend on how much Diver has. So far, we've both been late almost every day. I am $8 behind him coz at least I was on time for 4 days! hahahaa...we started this thing right after CNY ended and till now I've only been on time for 4 time. Very bad. But my boss even worst, he's been putting $2 in everyday! hahaa... Last week when we went out with his friend, his friend commented that its okie for him to be late cause he's the boss after all. So mean rite? Anyway, I wanna try not to be late anymore! So that my year-end trip can be fully sponsored by my bossDiver! hur hur hur...
