The start of the year hasn't been so smooth. I've been extremely busy with a new area of work given by my manager. Then came the news of resignation of my assistant manager and one of our department's executives.
So, this 4 day break is much appreciated! I slept a lot. And we didn't have to visit relatives because A's grandmother passed away 2 months ago (aside from having dinner with A's mother side). And we became typical tourists! Heading to vivo city, resorts world sentosa and marina bay sands! To soak up some festive ambience and eat nice food. Hehehe. boy were these places packed! Also lounged at Hard Rock hotel's bar. Really nice place with comfortable seats. Wanted to have a drink at TWG but we stepped there 5 mins too late! Sigh... We only took 3 photos of our day's escapade.

Another thing this new year, I'll be starting on my Masters course next month! How fast! There were actually talks of sponsorship by my company last year, but i waited quite awhile for approval to be given. finally just last Friday, i was told it was approved, and the course starts on 15 Feb! it's going to be an 18-month part time affair, so I'll brace myself up for juggling this commitment!
This new year, i'll let this verse be my guiding motto:
