Today is the last day of june, and i had my wisdom teeth removed!
the doctor recommended that i removed all 4 under GA. but i did LA eventually. i don't know why Tan Tock Seng Hospital makes things so difficult. wanted me to go for a pre-op counseling before i'm allowed to go on GA. so i asked how long. they told me can wait up to 4 hours because there are a lot of people doing surgery today. then still had to 'check in' to the operating theatre and wait for the anesthetist. i reckoned this would take up a whole day. maybe because it's a hospital so they wanted to do everything properly.
ok my experience with LA. the needle was big like what my friend warned! so once i sat on the couch i closed my eyes and didn't want to see the needle going into my mouth. felt the doc injected my cheek + gums several times. argh. then the drilling of my lower tooth. the pulling and pressures.... I AM GLAD ITS OVER....
post op bled a lot as expected.my whole left face was numb. rubbed my eye and couldn't feel anything too! haha... weird feeling.
But so far I'm not experiencing fever like some stories i heard :)
I'm hungry but i find it extremely difficult to eat! had some porridge with soft scrambled eggs awhile ago. but i was very scared the wound would get affected. wonder how i'm gonna manage my dinner later. haha. just drank a cup of water and the wound stung! ouch!
well i'm sleepy now so gonna update more later on.

Been thinking about this scripture and I find it so true. we all need a partner and dear friends to make our road easier to walk :)
Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work.
If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!
Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone?
Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

WOW! can you believe it, half the year has gone by. my last update was in April. tsk tsk. busyness has kept me from updating my blog regularly to help me remember how i spent my days.
my highlight of may was going to surabaya for missions. here is a photo of the team together :) we had a really packed schedule as compared to the mission trip to petaling jaya. but it was a great experience. Alas! we came back with diarrhea and mine lasted for a week!
At work, I am still alone covering 2 persons' duties. However, help should be coming in July. met my manager last week for appraisal. he gave me an A grade and also told me that i'll be promoted next month.
Although... I have an offer from a doctor who quit to set up his private practice, and he's offering me a pay jump of 25%. well well, decisions decisions.
i pray i'd have the wisdom to make the right choice all in accordance to His will.
and... I NEED A HOLIDAY! haha :D
