...to the Oregon Coast...

And the story continues...
I can't even tell you how excited we were when we finally saw this sign. Excited enough to make Mark and my mom pull off the road so that we could take a pic. Thanks goodness for the walkie talkies, which we used in more than a few roadside emergencies (i.e. Collin peeing). Our first view of the ocean...breathtaking!

We stopped off to see the Sea Lion caves, it was so worth it!

Inside the cave
Can you see the lighthouse? This was one of a few that we saw driving up the coast.
This one we could see from the Sea Lion caves.

Where we stayed was not too far from Tillamook so of course we had to go check out the cheese factory.

Those big blocks weigh 40 lbs. each. I wish you could buy it like that. The most delicious ice cream ever. Hooray, you can buy it at Winco!

The factory

The view from behind the beach house where we stayed.

More to come soon (hopefully).

I've seen it all!

Today while enjoying my pepperoni pizza at Costco I personally witnessed two parents filling up not one, not two, but three sippy cups with root beer, straight out of the fountain thingy for their three children. Their oldest kid could not have been older than three. Seriously people, c'mon. And how exactly do you pay for that?

Houston...we have a problem.

This morning while helping Collin clean his room I noticed something white sticking out the neck of his shirt. When I asked him was it was he got this embarrased look on his face and told me it was "nussing". After repeatedly asking, he finally admitted that it was toilet paper and proceeded to pull a big wad of TP out of his shirt. I asked him why he did that and he told me to wait one minute. He ran down the hall and returned with the movie "13 going on 30" and told me that's what Jenna does.
I haven't dared tell Grant yet.
