Welcome to my blog

I started this blog in April 2012 so I could join Challenges. I am now on some design teams. I hope you like my cards. I started stamping in 1995 but my cards are still mostly cute.

Unfortunately because of spammers I have had to put moderation on the comments. I will approve them as soon as possible, this also means I don't miss any.

My eyes are bad so I printed Ching-Chou Kuik digi stamp Golden Fall large,coloured it with chalks, Prismacolor pencils and gel pens then scanned it and reduced it down to fit on the card (unfortunately it is not very clear)

I forgot to do my blog post so it is running late. I had problems with my printer scanner and couldn't scan my card so my grand daughter's friend took a photo with my grand daugter's phone. I was going to do a better scan when I was able to get my printer working, but forgot. I am so fuzzy headed with the Fibromyalgia and lack of sleep. My husband was home on sick leave for 4 weeks with Influenza A and the Rhino virus. He went back to work today but he is still not well. He coughed most of the night so I didn't get to sleep till after 5am. He was able to sleep in but I had to get up early today. He had the flue injection but still got the flu. I haven't had the injection. I broke another tooth last week. I am not looking forward to going to the dentist tomorrow. I was able to get a cancelled appointment.

I have printed Little Blue Button stamp Christmas Joy onto white card, coloured with Prismacolor pencils, cut out and layered onto papers from Christmas basics paper pad and then onto green card.
Cut out Merry Christmas from the same paper pad and attached to green card with star brads.
Layered all onto red card.

I have made a bookmark this month - I have 100s of rubber and clear stamps that I don't use much now as digital stamps are much easier on my sore hands but I decided I would try using stamps for this and found an old clear set by Lavinia Stamps in one of my drawers of clear stamps. There is no name of the set it is just marked Lavinia Stamps

I cut gloss card into shape of bookmark and sponged it with Brilliance ink pads. Stamped the stamps from the Lavinia Stamps set with different stamp pads.

Outlawz Progressive Freebie challenge for September

Each month a different designer gives a free image for us to join in the Outlawz Progressive Freebie challenge. If you make a project with the image you will receive the next month's image free.
