Emma & Carson's Birthdays

Summer planned a fun birthday party for Emma & Carson. It was a Safari theme. All the kids dressed up as animals or in safari attire. Emma turned 3 years old and Carson is 1 year old.

Poor Carson was sick so he slept through the whole party and is not is any of the pictures.

However, they are coming on Wednesday to Grandma's house for more birthday cake and ice cream so hopefully we will get pictures of Carson then.

A darling cake made up of a bunch of cupcakes. What a clever idea! Each child got his or her own cupcake. They were great except for the 3" pile of frosting!

Grandma & Grandma with David, Emma and Carson.

I had a total right hip replacement on Oct 17, 2008 so I am sporting a nice walker!

We went to the Ward Trunk or Treat (since I am the activities chairman). We had a huge crowd. We served hot dogs, chips and capri suns. The kids had a costume parade and then made the loop at least 5 or 6 times collecting candy from all the trunks.
