 Hello, Happy Friday!

For this card i did some inking using Distress Oxide Ink. 

I smooshed 3 inks to get the color of the dies.

Happy Planner Birthday Page.  

I had purchased this Happy Planner (note journal) at Hobby Lobby on clearance.

I thought the price was good just for the binder clips.

Then, i decided to play.  So i pulled out some stamps and made this page. It could be a journal page as well..or a birthday card.

This is what i did:

I used a circle stencil i made from card stock to make the sun using Distress Oxide.

Then i took the circle and made the purple haze around the sun.

Next i stamped the flower, fairy and sentiment.

 Next i pulled out a Fairy Hugs Stencil and inked that up too.

 Last, i colored in the fairy, flower and highlighted the sentiment.

It took some time but it was rather simple!

Tutti Designs - 102 Birdies Trio and 639 Rose Trio

Hello!  Let's see what you can create with Tutti Designs today!

For this card..it was quite interesting.. i know that if i don't use a die cut that it probably won't get used..unless it is a filler of some sort.  

So this is mostly a "scrappy" card.

I had cut out the Birdies Trio out of gray thinking i had this great idea..but it didn't work..so i ended up making this card instead.  The gray cut out turned out to be the shadow for the white die cut.  :)

Well, turns out i ended up using some other "negative" die cuts from my previous Tutti Slimline card, i have already shared. 

So anyway...save those pieces because you can always make another card. 

I used the Tutti Designs - 685 Slimline Stitched Wobbly Frame two times i cut one out of white and one out of the cream.  I used the white outside stitched frame for this card and the cream "negative" from the second die cut for this card.  You can inlay these together easily.  

Next i cut out the pink gingham from Tutti Designs - 688 Slimline Torn Edge Frames.  I used the second largest size but used the "negative" piece for this card.  

If you notice on the card at the bottom of the Birdies Trio you will see some "added" floral foliage.  Those are scraps as well, from the bottom of Tutti Designs - 174 Garden Arbour.  I needed to balance the card and found that Tutti Designs 639 - Rose Trio looked good.. but i wasn't happy with the how i could easily see the background paper behind it and the pieces were too small to piece back into the die. So i got out some vellum and glued it to the back and cut around it.  I also painted some glitter paint inside of the flower petals. I added 16 gems (i think) to the Birdies Trio die and the scrap Garden Arbour foliage at the bottom.

Tutti Designs - 636 Floral Heart Frame - Stitched Tag Bookmark

Hello!  Let's see what you can create with Tutti Designs today!

This bookmark tag was created because i had a piece of the Floral Heart Frame that i cut off to use on another card.  I didn't want to throw it away..so i made this bookmark.  I started with a piece of We Are 3 Digital Paper - Salvaged Textures and glued the scrap die cut to the side.  I used the Stitched Nesting tags to cut out the pattern paper with the scrap die and a mat to back the tag.  Next i used a We Are 3 Digital Sentiment and cut that out using the Stitched Nesting Tags as well. I hole punched the top of the tag and added ribbon. Then i cut out two of the smallest hearts from the Stitched Nesting Hearts and placed those on top of the sentiment tag just under the ribbon.  Last thing is to color up the We Are 3 Digital Shop image - Emmee and place her on the bookmark tag as well.

Here is my DT card using a Sizzix die called, Catching Snowflakes

I did not have a second digital image to use to help promote the sponsor this month..and we are only given one so i thought i'd used one of my dies that i've been wanting to use. 

For this card i cut the main die out of white cardstock and colored in the skin.  Then i used some digital paper scraps (red) and die cut the die again using only the coat and hat. Next i used a scrap piece of brown and used that for the hair and boots.  There were additional dies for the cuff, hat ball and pocket trim and for the snow flakes and i cut those out of white cardstock.  I cut the smaller snowflakes again out of silver mirrored paper.  There was one more die that came with this set and it cut out the tiny holes.  Instead of using the tiny holes i just layered the blue paper with white.  I added a few gems to the tiny cut out circles too. At the bottom i added some pretty chunky glitter with glossy accents.
