As I sit and contemplate this past year, I can't help but count the blessing in my life. Some of which are pictured above. They make me smile and they make me cry, all in happiness. They are the light of my life.
Kris, Julie and the "girls", Emilie, McKenzie and Alexis live in Roosevelt Utah. Kris works at the local grocery store in the meat department and Julie is a registered nurse at the local hospital. Emilie is 11 and in the 6th grade. She recently joined the basketball team at school and is having a great time becoming a beautiful young lady. McKenzie is 8 and in the 3rd grade. She just had her tonsils out and is hoping that her throat will feel better soon. Alexis is 14 months old now and is walking and getting into everything.
Rushell, Jeff and the "boys", Tyler, Dylan, and Kyle are still in Pfluggerville Texas. Jeff works for the city of Austin as a building inspector and Rushell has her hands full with 3 active boys. Tyler is 7 and in the second grade, where he is a math wiz and starting to love to read. Dylan is 5 and attends preschool, where he portrayed the Innkeeper in the Christmas pageant. Kyle is 3 and just wants to be a big boy like his brothers.
Tim and I are still in Seattle, and need to get a better frequent flyer miles program. We try to see the kids and grandkids at least once a year and sometimes more when we are lucky. Tim is still the Bishop, coming up on 5 years now, and we are grateful for the blessing that this calling brings to our lives. I teach early morning seminary. It is hard to say that I love it but I can say that I love the youth that I teach. It makes it worth getting up at o dark thirty when I see the spirit working in their lives.
Tim and I have so many blessings in our lives it is hard to put into words. We may not have our children here but we do have Tim's family and we have our many friends. We are blessed with so many good people in our lives and are thankful for the happiness that they bring to us.
We hope that this year will bring happiness and love to you and yours and may the Lords' richest blessings be yours.
