Work sucked,it sucked so badly to rush 4 things in a day.
So pressurizng but I managed to finish it anyway.Thank goodness I could!
It's so stressful & very tiring in the line of my work,rotating different stages of work simultaneously whilst another stage is in the midst of another process.

I personally think its great to have pressure when I work,but the pressure today was just so much that I almost messed up!
Perhaps I need to get a better grip contain things better too.
It'll be ridiculous if I break down just like that.

OH!
Something else happened to make me feel even worse.
I gained a bigger warning not to help people just because I'm soft.
You see,I'm the YES girl..
I usually say YES cause' its convenient,& usually I like people to be as happy as I am.

They ask for a favours & I help.Even if I don't like the person,I still..help.
Then I recently slammed myself into the wall..

I make the effort to get something done & reach my hand out,& the asking party doesn't seem to make an effort to receive.
Sometimes I wonder where's a person's sense of urgency.

I learnt that..
There is nothing to gain,I get more into the red with stress when something not right happens,it wastes my time,thoughts & energy put in to think about.
I get irritated to realise that some people have no sense of responsibilities & still live in their slack lazy world.
Its ABSOLUTE RUBBISH.
DONT WASTE MY TIME.
Total disappointment.

It killed day 2 of my post-ZoukOut mood alright! >.<
To think I was still damn happy in the morning listening to those thumping tracks on the iPod..

But you know what,I received something SO SMALL,so delicious,from some auntie who gave to me right after my disappointing conversation with that someone.Somehow,it really made my day.
And I shared it with a girlfriend to make myself feel better.
Somebody quite foreign to me giving me a treat for I don't know what reason.
Felt so forgiving..

I had a great time at ZoukOut la..
My first time & most probably my last time.
Because I was there solely for Above & Beyond,& I don't think the super trio would be so free to come to ZoukOut only every year?!?!
I can't wait to see them again within the next 6mths in Singapore!! YAYAYAYYAYAYAYA..

SPEAKING OF WHICH,another SUPER DJ is coming to town early JANUARY!! YAYAYAYYAYA..
its ARMIN VAN BUUREN.. :D :D :D
Wah he's also one of the best trance artistes man..Very good tracks he's been producing for 10yrs.
Well I only know of him 6years ago..

SO..Anyway..On that same Saturday,the boy & I had brunch over at Coastes..
My first time there too..The food's great~! The music's good,& its what I call.."ang moh land"..
Trust me,the prices of food may be steeper,but its good. ;)
As for "ang moh land.."..haha..If you're local,you'd understand.
Zero locals there except for the waiting staff!


The sun,sand,food & drinks were all good.
Would definitely be back again.. :)

I went home with dear to take 2 naps..1 before dinner & 1 after.(KIASU right? ;))
& met up with Wenjun for..MOVIEEEEEE.
Yeah we caught the 11+pm show..
And honestly? I didn't know that Keanu Reeves was rather good looking.
The show was alittle disappointing at the end though,it was so fast & it left me in a question mark.
It started out well & delivered throughout from the beginning to the middle,but towards the end its like HUH?
AHZZZZZZZZ..

Anyway after the show I immediately went to meet somebody whom I helped to borrow something for her & her friends because of Zoukout.
Sometimes I just wonder are they grateful for the effort I put in & the thought of me of the effort I put in or not.
HEck.I'm not keen on helping many people anymore,wastes time & brings in more frustration instead of happiness.

The 3 of us then shared a cab into Sentosa & it was FREAKING EXPENSIVE.
The car was already in Sentosa,so we just bought some drinks to mix with the vodka that Wenjun brought..

I am quite proud to say that I paid for most of the things this time between dear & I for this day out,because it was my idea to go ZoukOut..Wenjun's too :)
But of course he paid for himself la.
I covered for 2 tickets,the cab fare,all the drinks & juices but not the vodka.
Brought snacks along to stash in the car too! yay~
We popped in at about 2+?
Yeah that was when Dirty South or Sasha was playing..To my horror,I only got to find out that Above & Beyond was to spin at 5AM!!
It was totally crowded,everyone was having fun..
Some men were teasing ladies,some men were teasing..men.

Some were out of control,like there was no government.I dont really want to think about it,especially those who were doing some illegal things in the dark.
Wenjun & I bought ourselves RipCurl X ZoukOut tees..Yay~

We bobbed around with Sasha's mixes..
But it wasn't very exciting. We missed out on Dirty South,I regret it. Because I like the songs he produced over the past 2yrs! But ANYWAY..My trance heroes were out by 5am,sharp! & I missed out on the first half-hour though..awww..
I felt that the set was pretty good,but the best was back then in 2006 for their Tri-State album tour.. :D
The music was a happy high throughout at ZoukOut,singing,dancing & jumping like mad..
With lots of old & new trance + progression & vocal tracks..
I felt like I was singing with Tony of A&B!! HAHA..
Best part with alot of Oceanlab songs from the new album!!
& the Signal Runner's "These Shoulders"..waaaaa..nice..:D:D:D
Surprisingly,they played William Orbit's "Adagio for Strings"..wah..that's like since secondary school..awesome la..

FAT HOPE MAN.Aldrin was super ready to take over the set & so many people realisticly left immediately when Aldrin started playing The Killers. :((
My bf & friend too..ALAMAK,tired & hungry to even stay for another 3 more songs...
Really wanted to stay,but they were so tired & hungry.Darn.
I ran into kor's friend too..It was a pity we didn't club together.
Oh well.I guess I do better in smaller groups than huge groups of friends. :)
So..yeah..BREAKFAST!! Near my house :9

& I went home to admire my t-shirt before washing up to sleep.Ha.
Guess it'll be my first & last visit to ZoukOut..
Don't ask why not..

Well its the 15th today,a Monday actually..
The weeks' passed through SO QUICKLY.
I rarely blog these days. I don't know why people still visit.
It's crazy.

From crazily sick to crazily happy at ZoukOut last weekend..
I still have backlogs on my birthday,hari raya weekend and so on..etc.

Don't know what I should post about,perhaps about the nail varnish I received last Friday? haha..
At S$10 a bottle,thats a great deal man!

Got to know 2 Dutch students who are on a few months visit here to Singapore at my work place.
Don't know why I had to itch about Dutch djs since they're from the Netherlands.

& we talked about trance artistes like Armin Van Buuren..
Then they asked me if I was going for ZoukOut! haha..
So odd that a foreigner asked if I were going,instead of me as a local,introducing it to them.. :)
I guess someone else had asked them earlier..
But it was alittle wasted,didn't run into them at the party itself..
I was totally there for nothing else but Above & Beyond..It was crazy! Great 2 hour set,I enjoyed it very much!

Oh well its late now!Darn.
Time to log out & face a new day at work tomorrow :D

Unwell.
Day 3 of food poisoning.
Technically,I was down on Monday afternoon without realising.
Two days of MC,so..I'm stuck at home & have no choice but to blog since I'm all done up with celebrations between dear and I,online shipping for VS and OPI,plus sorting out my financial status to be sure that I have enough on reserve for Christmas shopping.

Thing is,I don't think I have the time for Christmas shopping! DIEEEEEEEE.
Sort of settled something for the family as a whole,something for Mum,myself,and have yet to settle the extras for dad & kor.
As for Lionel..I've thought of something,but don't know if its a waste of money? It's something so small but yet,should I even get that done? Hmz..

Time is running out & I'm too weak to leave the house today.DARN.

Made it a point to go for Zouk's flea market like I always do..
Missed out on the Cookie Museum tasting session,I'm so sure I'd buy 2 tins :)
They cookies there are SUPER YUMMILICIOUS! :D~~

heh.Anyway,was in town to meet up with Justin Chiu to hang out at Zouk for a while..
It was pretty crowded at 2.15pm (hell yeah I'm a kiasu Singaporean),cause it opens at 2pm & ends at 7..
Did abit of serious shopping & bought some stuff..
Here's Justin's caps from the same shop.HAHA.I'm amazed I bargained for him cause' he didnt even do so. :P

Didn't realise I can look good with caps too! :D

Well so moving on,I bought myself a bottle of nail colour at S$5,not used before..Considering to wear it really soon,or maybe for my birthday week.

A box of Pocky Brazillian Pudding..Pretty tasty at S$2 for that box. :) 


Not forgetting my pair of jeans at S$16,and a tube top of the same price too after bargaining for those 2 items at various stalls.

We stopped over for a drink at the winebar & it felt good to pay so much lesser than what we'd normally do at Zouk. :)

Made our stop-over to Great World City and did abit of shopping in the supermarket.. :D
Its my favourite Kettle chips..
Black sesame seed marshmallows..
And a bag of chocolates for dear's family to snack on..

Wah the chocs were good man!
And I realised how expensive they were after opening the bag. -.-
about 70 to 80cents per piece,from the supermarket?! i expected cheaper actually.HAHA.

Saw this cool yard-long Walkers box..& decided to have a go with a shot at it.After posting it up in facebook,the response was either on the box or the dress.HAHA.
I realised yeah,the dress was quite nice too.But alittle difficult to wear,so..Claire,I decided not to get you that dress,but something else you might miss very much in Singapore! ;)

Anyways this is another of the dinners I had with dear's family when he isn't around..
To Jack's Place at BPP..
I seriously didn't like their escargots,damn freaking short-cut.
Preparation was cooked with butter,but the garlic was then placed on top before serving.
Pre-fried garlic,that is. eeks.

I had a fire steak,which was literally on fire after the guy poured a shot of whiskey over my steak.
Became black as this..Still,it was not too bad.I ain't complaining..
Just after dinner,we were hunting around Royal Sporting house to get slippers for dear's sister,Amanda..
Well yeah we eventually bought the same pair,same size,just different colours! haha..
What a coincidence lor..

The cherry on top of it all was that his parents bought the slippers for me,instead of me paying for myself.
How nice.. :)

Was out with both my parents to the Omni-Max Theatre in the afternoon to watch Wild Ocean..It was great! Concession for my parents.oops.
& discount for me because I'm an NTUC member.
NTUC card has so many uses at various places..Very good..& am surprised even available at Omni Theatre!
Am glad to be a member for the past couple of years. :D

So..yups to Jurong we went! The side for Omni Max Theatre loOks like how it was since I was in primary school!
EXACTLY THE SAME.
As for the Science Centre,am not sure..Perhaps I'd visit there some day since my company bought a couple of corporate passes.

Not sure if many of you can recall what this is?If you can,great!
If you can't..Well..its that simulator that most of us wanted to sit in as a child! haha..Used to be so excited over it.
Now also..Don't really bother to take a ride in it. :)

Any recollection of this place?Its the place where they screen the films..
I soon realised that no photography was allowed in the theatre,& so I abided by that rule.. :)
The interior of the theatre itself was EXACTLY like how it was when I was a child..!
I wonder if they actually changed the sound system,cause' the volume aired seemed alittle soft to me.Heh.

Well the show toOk no longer than 45minutes..
We headed off to IMM for bits of shopping & dinner..

Spent the most time in Watsons buying various Japanese snacks.. :D :D :D








































































I love the chocolate mochi the most! :D~
With only 8 pieces in a box & to share with dad,it didn't seem enough..........
