One last Christmas card, this one with a winter theme. Time to snuggle up!
Here I've used markers and a sweet image by 'From the Heart Stamps'. I can't say I've seen any birds lately...hopefully they are snuggled up somewhere warm. I made the background using an evergreen stamp and few little peel-off bits. Perfect for a last minute card.
Wishing you all a healthy and happy New Year. Take care, and stay warm.

You'd better watch out...
Early to bed, therefore early to rise....this gives me time for another post. I'm sure there are a few of you out there still working on Christmas cards, so here is an idea for a quick and easy one.
I tend to colour my images well before I make I make a card, so this one was very quck. Just some washi tape and some rub-on wording. The sweet image from The Paper Shelter was coloured with markers, with liquid applique for dimension on his suit. A bit of gold edging before afixing to the card, and then a frame border made by tracing a Spellbinders die.
I'm almost caught up now, and don't intend to brave the cold today. I can find lots to do inside, and I'm sure I won't have to look too hard! lol I like to take heart in the fact that yesterday was the actual first day of winter, so now we are on the way to spring....and I'll try not to look outside at all the snow! Take care everyone.

Reach for the star....
Another quick post....as I try to catch up! Once again, a Christmas card, this time for our challenge at TTPH which is ANYTHING GOES. Hopefully you can find the time to join in.
Something a little nontraditional, at least so far as the colours go. Here, I've used the 'All Dressed Up For Christmas' image, colouring with markers. I've die cut the opening in the purple cardstock, using a Spellbinders die, then used some glitter paper for the backing and the star embellishments.
I'm thinking I could have used this angel with the long legs to put the topper on my tree! Wishing you all well in your Christmas preparations. Merry Christmas everyone!

All I want for Christmas...
Hi everyone. Well, I'm back. I was actually contemplating ending my blogging, but I changed my mind...at least for now. I spent the month of November in Florida, with some lovely weather and beach, but that really puts one behind as regards Christmas preparations. In addition, I will be moving within the year, and to top it off....my eyes are really giving me grief. Life is all about change....so we'll just have to see.
I haven't finished my Christmas cards, either. Here's one with an older image from LOTV, using water colours and some glitter stickles. Keeping it simple, so that it goes in the post. Hopefully I get to that soon!
I'm still working on a few more, so I'd best make this short. Hope all is well and life is good with you.
