Piano Recital and Half Marathon

Erin's last piano recital was in June. Her cute piano teacher, Sarah, has been a wonderful teacher and really helped Erin develop her piano skills.
Rachel and Camille were also a part of the recital and did a great job.
Krysta ran the American Fork Half Marathon along with Brian, Sharla, and Justin. We got there in time to cheer her across the finish line.

Not a bad time for her first big race!

Great job Krysta!

Erin's Graduation

First, we'll start with seminary graduation because, well, that did come first.

Our ward's grads

Cute Josh is now serving in Guatemala!
Then on to high school graduation!
Erin with her honor cords, Charger medallion, Salutatorian pin and inaugural class pin.

Grateful to have such good friends.

Erin and the 3 Tanners and two boys not named Tanner.
Jump for joy! No more school...except for 4 or 5 or 6 years of college.

The younger siblings.

These two were dance partners for the Draper Temple youth celebration. They have grown up a lot since then.

Erin and Tanner walking into the ceremony.

Only 250 graduates this year, but the ceremony wasn't that much shorter.

Blurry, but it's official.

Oh, so cute...until the dose of reality below.
A more realistic picture. Aren't we lucky to see this everyday? This is what they look like when they are hungry.

Easter Weekend and Rachel's Birthday

If you are a Graf, Easter is all about Southern Utah. We colored eggs.

Found time for a quick spin around the St. George Arts Festival where we tried on hats.

Rolled eggs cause that's how we roll.

Erin was already in St. George with friends. She met us for the rest of the weekend. Krysta had to stay home to direct her ward choir. Who plans a special musical number on a vacation weekend anyway? Oops, she did!

Found time to bat some eggs around. There are NO egg survivors of a Graf egg rolling extravaganza!

Went on a beautiful hike in Kolob.

See the blue streak in my hair?

She caught a lizard.

No grandsons on this hike! Only granddaughters.

Kolob was crowded--for Kolob, but nowhere near the crowds in Zion. This could be the new favorite Easter spot.

We ate at Pizza Factory and visited the temple.

Unwrapped presents and ate cake. Happy 13th birthday Rachel!

The next day was church and the drive home.

Greeted by tulips in bloom.
Southern Utah is the best!
