THE BEST OWL BOOKENDS EVER!!!

These owls are soooo spooky, old, and haunting! They are 8 1/2" tall x 3" wide x 4" front to back. From my private collection to yours! They have an old verdigris finish with age wear and little bits of rust peeking through here and there. Heavy like old doorstops and fabulous! Great for Halloween decor. I have had these for years and was told they are from around 1910. These are very unusual and you will want them for your old owl collection!  Go here to purchase and see more views.

Winter in My Garden of Good and Evil

Actually, my garden isn't really evil, just a little wicked!
I guess being snowed in and without power for 5 days wasn't too bad, I just missed opening my shop, that happens sometimes with the powerful winter storms we get up here in the mountains. Luckily my house is really dark and cozy with just candle and old oil lamp lighting and all the antique mantel clocks ticking away. All my old macabre taxidermy and skulls are really haunting in the dark, the butler did scare me once or twice though. I'm really glad I had a wood stove, a book light and the last of the True Blood books to read! And it's not over yet, I hear another winter storm is on the way this Thursday so call first before you head to the shop.

October Dark Art Creations and Haunting New Finds

October is way to short, there needs to be two Octobers every year. It has come and is almost gone and I've been so busy at the shop helping customers with costuming and decorating, I haven't had time to create all the little haunting fantasy projects dancing around in my head. But here are a few and some fabulous recent vintage finds. Meet "Sssserpentina", my latest snake worshiper Hoodoo Conjure Doll. She is 28" long and comes with a little snake oil bottle, two snakes, three antique puncture pins and lots of character!

Mrs. P's Magic Box is an old cash box filled with all kinds of amusing magical novelties. The old box has Mrs. P. hand painted on the side. Email for more views if you want it.

A mysterious large framed print of one of my old Ouija Boards.

A smaller metal Magic Box with goodies, a rib bone and protective Hand of Glory amulet.

Haunting 19th century casket plaques

A rare wooden 1965 Zolar's Mystic Genii Board

A 1967 Tarot Wheel Board, never even seen one of these before!
