Stake Service Project

Our Stake participated in a community service project. I made 20 baby beanies (I’ve been working on them for a couple months now). Over 900 baby beanies were made by women in our stake. There were 5 different service projects the stake participated in all through Just Serve Organization. *The Lullaby Connection, Dress For Success, Project Linus, It Takes a Village and Arthur T. Sartini.

Bike/Scooter Ride Home From School

I thought it would be a good idea to ride my bike to pickup Clark and Jane from school today. Danny dropped their bike/scooter off earlier, I rode my bike there. It took me 25 minutes to ride my bike to the school and after picking the kids up, it took an hour to get to the park (still about 15-20 mins away from home, at our speed). I was exhausted!

Clark actually had no problem, it was Jane that made it painful! I had to push my bike and her scooter downhill because “it was too fast,” I had to carry her scooter uphill because “it was too hard,” and when we finally got to the flat sidewalk she was “too tired”.

I won’t be doing that again anytime soon

Max first day of work.

We all had lots of fun playing Cover Your Assets with Uncle Jeff last night. Jeff put $20 in for whoever won 1st place. The problem was Jeff kept winning! On the 3rd game Jeff put another $10 in for the 2nd place winner. Clark finally won 1st place and Jeff won 2nd place.

Max is home for the Summer

Danny and I took a quick trip up to BYU-I to pickup Max from school.

He’ll be home for the summer. The kids are excited to see him!
