Doral Academy

The Charter School the kids go to is an Arts Integrated Charter School.

That means they get a lot of extra fun electives! 

They have music, violin, art, media arts, Spanish, theater and dance. 

They take 3 of those electives each semester. 

I love all the wonderful extras they get to experience during school!

Last week in art Daisy and Walt learned about Aboriginal Art, which is also known as dot art. 

They learned all about it and then created their very own Aboriginal Art.

Happy 4th Birthday Clark

We celebrated Clark's birthday at Chuck E. Cheese's. 

It was a lot of fun, but I was exhausted when it was over!

I still can't believe he's FOUR years old! My baby boy is growing up way too fast!

Daisy received the Super Citizen award for Honesty!

She was so excited about this!

Walt got one last year and she didn't. Walt already got one this year so she thought that meant she won't be getting one. She was ecstatic when she realized she was getting one. I was so relived. #Mother of twins.

Happy Valentine's Day

I woke up early to make the kids traditional heart shaped notes and candy, the kids always enjoy waking up to a little note and candy. After church Van and Hanna left notes and candy and my bed for me and Danny. While taking a nap this afternoon the kids cleaned the house and decorated our door with notes and candy. I love when the children our so thoughtful, these are priceless moments.
