Kenna Goodman (28) has been recently diagnosed with a grade 4 cancerous brain tumor called Medulloblastoma.

Kenna had surgery to remove the tumor and is now undergoing radiation and chemo therapy in hopes to destroy any residual cancer cells in her brain and spinal column.

She has three adorable children ages 6, 4, and 1 and is terrified they will grow up without their mommy.

Summer Fun

This summer has been fun and busy. With Aaron working so much, Parker and I have spent a lot of time with my parents. Here are some of the fun activities we have enjoyed with them the past few weeks..

They took Parker to his first movie and it was at the drive in. His cousins were also able to come

Parker and his Cousin Kenzie before the drive in movie

Parker and his cousin Tyler just chillin before the movie

These kids had no alcoholic beverages, except for Courtney her face looks kind of guilty. Wonder whats in her cup?

My handsome Cowboys

Our little family: Tootsie Roll, Aaron, Parker, and Me

The 24th was a lot of fun this year, my brother invited us up to his house to enjoy the parade, dinner, fireworks, games, and so much more.

No one could beat Parker to the candy, he was on fire. We filled up his whole stroller with Candy. This was one amazing parade, candy, ice cream sandwiches, otter pops, free kids meals, so much candy the street was covered in it. Butlerville really knows how to put on a parade

Butlerville days Parade with Grandma, Gabriella, Trevor and Ashley. It was HOT!

Parker and his cousin Gabriella. What a cutie!

Having fun with Grandma while waiting for the fireworks

Parker sure does love his Grandma and Papa.

We have been lucky again this year to be in a place with a backyard and space for a garden. We love having a garden each year. We have already had all of our radishes and a few strawberries, but now on to bigger and better things, everything else is producing and I can't wait. I am going to make Salsa and Tomato juice from my 15 tomatoes plants this year, and lots of Zucchini bread. But if you are ever in the neighborhood feel free to stop by and grab a handful of vegetables.

Lake Powell

We just came back from our wonderful vacation with the Goodman Family down at Lake Powell...
Sun, Water, Fun, Speed boat, House boat, wave runners, swimming, beaches, water slide, cousins, games, roasting marshmallows, camp fires, delicious food, junk food, More sun, more water, great company with family, and so much more. We had a great time! I didn't take too many pics because I didn't have my camera out too much with all the water.
This was our view all around us all day every day, blue skies.

Parker and I spent a lot of time just in the shallow water by the house boat and on the beach

Anchoring in the house boat.
Every time we would take Parker on the wave runner he would fall asleep.

(Tootsie (our dog) loved to go down the water slide so i'm hoping to get the pics from my father in law and post them, we didn't think Tootsie could swim but she loved the water.)
We all had a fun, safe trip and we can't wait till next year!!!

Great Great Grandma

Phyllis E. Lewis, 96, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family Sunday, July 5, 2009.

`She was born April 3, 1913 in Emery to George W. Mortensen and Florenda Matilda Larsen. She married George Udell Lewis on July 20, 1932 in Manti LDS Temple.

Skinny Jeans?!?!

So the other day my mom had Parker so I decided why not go shopping? It's not very often I get the chance to shop for new clothes, so I decided to go down to gateway and I made my way to Forever 21, well they were having a screamin deal on jeans, so I thought I would try them on, and I gave the skinny jeans a chance.
Well i'm in the dressing room and I have the skinny jeans on and I look like a disaster so I try to take them off, and now this is when there is a problem.... They are stuck on my calves, next thing I know i'm rolling on the floor in the dressing room, with sweat dripping down my forehead, and about to call for help, well 20 minutes of trying I finally got the pants off.
I will not be shopping in the future by myself or at least i'll avoid the skinny jeans.

Redneck Reunion

We just got back from our Redneck Reunion up in Idaho. We had such a great time with the family. We were able to do so much while we were there just for one day.

Aaron lived up to his name of Poolboy, at the Warm Springs where we stayed they had a diving board and a high dive, well Aaron was doing flips, and dives off of the board, but one time he tried to do 3 flips and didn't make it into a dive, so he face planted and belly flopped, which left him with a killer headache, some crazy eye sight for a day, a raspberried chest, and 2 black eyes, but he is ok now and back to normal.
We stopped by the Twin Falls Temple. (Very Beautiful)
Aaron truckin around the boys. Tyler and Parker
The Luke Clan at the Reunion... Grandma, Papa, Me, Aaron, Courtney, Kenzie, Tyler, and Parker. My picture of the whole family is pretty blurry, but there was about 60 of us.
Beautiful Rainbow we saw at Shoshone Falls
The Shoshone Falls, this really blows your mind, it was awesome.
My Redneck son.
We had a great time at the VanEvery Reunion, and we can't wait to see everyone again up in Idaho.
Also Happy 4th of July!

Happy Birthday Kevin!

Kevin (Aaron's younger brother), would be turning 20 years old today.
We miss and love him very much.

Cousin fun

The past few days we have had a blast of fun with Parker's Cousins and Grandma. Hit up the zoo; 4 kids, 5 hours, 98 degrees, too much fun!
Had to cool off in the pool.
Our attempt to try to get all 5 kids under the age of 7 together for a picture.
The handsome, studly boys.
Parker 2 years old, Tyler almost 3 years old.
And last but not least the precious, darling girls.
Kenzie 4, Courtney 7, and Gabriella 2 months.
