Kenna Goodman (28) has been recently diagnosed with a grade 4 cancerous brain tumor called Medulloblastoma.

Kenna had surgery to remove the tumor and is now undergoing radiation and chemo therapy in hopes to destroy any residual cancer cells in her brain and spinal column.

She has three adorable children ages 6, 4, and 1 and is terrified they will grow up without their mommy.

GO POTTY GO!

Well Parker was ready to be potty trained months ago. He loves to wear his big boy pants, pull ups, and go on the potty, watch potty movies, and read potty books.
So what is the problem here?..... Me (the mom)
For some reason i'm slow going, maybe cause if he isn't in diapers, than he won't be my baby anymore, or I don't want to deal with the mess.
Well I guess I can't hold him back forever, so i'm getting on board the potty training. Here we go. Wish me luck, cause I know Parker won't need it, he will do great.

Joe's Valley

We made a quick trip up to my families cabin in Joe's Valley for the weekend before Aaron started school.

The beautiful Lake

The boys (Aaron and Chris) heading out on the water toys.

Aaron wake-boarding in.

The kids(Grace and Parker) chillin in the shade with Natalie.

Our little family, helping Tootsie swim.

Building a sand castle.

Parker lived on the 4-wheelers, day and night. He loved riding and driving them. Don't worry grandma and papa he wore his helmet every time.

The boys had to get in a little golf, they can't go longer than 2 days without it.

Nothing beats the night like a fire with smores.

The sky looked awesome every day.

The road home, leaving the cabin.

We had a great time and can't wait to go back, we had a wonderful time with friends (Chris, Natalie, and Grace). Yummy food- duth oven, and tin foil dinners, and lots of fun fishing, swimming, eating, 4-wheeling, wave runners, camp fires, games and so much more. What a great way to end the summer.

Another night out with great friends!

We have had such a great, exciting time with friends this weekend. Our last post on Friday night up the canyon and now Saturday night...
Parker was suppose to get his pictures done, but while we were there he didn't crack a smile or even look at the camera once, so I will have to take him ack and try again. This first picture of him is after the photo session enjoying crackers. Yummy!

What a Handsome little man!

Next we meet up with Aaron's golfing buddy Chris and his wife Natalie, they had extra tickets to the ReAL soccer game, so we joined them, first having dinner, next the fun game with cotton candy, and ending the game at another restaurant eating nachos, wings, and fries. I really got sick that night from all the junk, but it was fun. Thanks Chris and Natalie, and baby Grace for a fun night out.

First time having cotton candy. He didn't like it, so I ate the whole thing.

All the mascots from Utah colleges and such playing soccer at half time.

Parker loved the game. We got free scarves too!

Go ReAL Salt Lake!!!

Canyon Fun with Friends

We had a fun evening with great Friends, amazing food, good weather(even though it rained), and just all out fun in the dirt up the canyon.

Naomi and her adorable little girl Keisha.

Aaron and Parker. The loves of my life.

All amazed at Suzanne's belly. Pic of all the girls.

Hair Balls

Amazing homemade salsa, we were loving it.

Richy, Naomi, Keisha trying to stay dry and warm

Parker and his buddy Benton, they were all over the place.

Just covered in dirt, head to toe. And loving every minute of it.

Best buds watching the water.

My handsome hubby enjoying a delicious smore.

Yummy cobbler.

The whole reason we went up the canyon to celebrate Benton's 2nd Birthday.
Here is the birthday boy with his mommy and daddy.

2 wonderful, dirty boys.

I think we are all stuffed with yummy food, covered in dirt, and ready for our nice, comfy, warm beds.
Thanks for all the fun in the canyon!
Even if we did almost get sprayed by a skunk, or eaten by mice, or had the girl from "The Ring" come and visit, it was still quite enjoyable.

My heart will always be in St. George...

Oh how I love the wonderful, hot summer nights of St George, and how I miss the red rock. Even though I only lived there for a few years, it was a great time. We went down this weekend to visit my sister and her family for her daughters baptism, we didn't do much but enjoy the warm sun, the perfect pool, and lots of family time.

DIXIE ROCK

St. George Temple

These boys could live in the pool, and one day they did, we went 3 times for 2 hours each time.

We won't let Aaron see this pic of Parker, he liked Gabriella's Dumbo(Bumbo chair),
and her little doll.

Papa tossing the girls in the pool

Snazzy new suspenders
