I just want a cure.
I've been having rashes for the past 2 months. Nothing seems to be able to cure it, and I'm almost at my breaking point. Been seeing doctors and specialist, hoping just one, or anyone is able to solve my problem. I'm so worried of doing a biopsy, cos I'm afraid of pain, I'm afraid of injections and I'm afraid of surgery. I'm worried that doing it might bring me news that will affect me and my future. My skin doesn't heal as it should be and I'm so worried it has something to do with other illnesses of the body. I'm so worried about it until I'm breaking down now looking at the rashes. I don't understand how just a simple rashes can be so uncurable. I just want it to go away.

Apology
Dreamt about the past and i finally realized why I'm having a hard time forgiving. I know it's hurting everyone around me, making it difficult on both side of friends. At times, I do want to try to mend this, but ultimately, I can't. At least not till I have a closure. It's because I never recieved an apology and an explanation of the cheating. I know deep in my heart it existed even though the ex denied it ever happening. How can the wound heal of no medicine was applied? Instead, what's left festering is an infection of suspicion and distrust. And that is why I can't close this chapter properly and peacefully. Look at me and Marcus, we're the best of friends now even though I was cheated on. That's because he was forthright with me and he apologized for doing it. And that's something I appreciate about him. He's honest as a friend and that's why I trust him now even after all that has happened. However, in this situation, I never know even after 3 years, what the actual story and situation was. Even after 3years, I can't forgive. I'm really apologetic to our friends. Maybe time will heal all wounds, and maybe it won't. I guess we shall see.

Taiwan Day 2 - Fisherman's Wharf, Beitou and Prawning
Hello! I'm back with day 2 of our Taiwan adventure!
We slept really late the night before so we didn't wake up extremely early to head out like most others do.
Settled for breakfast somewhere near our hotel.
Cheese wrap, ham wrap and xiao long pao!
The cheese wrap was really good! The skin is similar to prata but smoother.
After which, we headed all the way down to TamSui Station to check out the Fisherman's wharf.
Bought this huge ice-cream cone! Honestly, it tasted horrible. We threw away more than half of it. :x
The boy spotted shops that allowed you to shoot BB gun.
Apparently, its not allowed in Singapore so the boy just had to give it a try!
Look at his level of concentration. Lol.
Surprisingly, he was awesome at it! He manged to hit 8/10 with only 10 bullets! :))
To head down to Lover's Bridge, you either take a bus or a ferry from Tam Sui station. We wanted to try something new, thus, ferry it was!
Spot the bridge at the back.
Apparently this is the landmark sign. The"Love". Couldn't understand why people would sit directly in the middle of the love sign when there are so much more spaces around.
It's like, you know tourist would want to take a photo and yet, you just had to spoil the picture for them. -.-
Another thing, we bought some Crispy ba kwas back for our folks. Since we didn't see it at ximending, we thought we probably wouldn't see it again. We were totally wrong!
Ended up paying more than other places. :(
Then, we took a train back to XinBeiTou.
Thats where all the hot springs are generally located.
The concept of the train to xinbeitou was super cute! They put videos and even a tub lookalike showing the history of the place.
We didn't decide in advance where we wanted to go. So we spend a good 15mins sitting down trying to choose a good hotel.
Point to note, always choose and make a reservation before hand.
We actually decided on Spring Spa and was walking there. However, the reviews on trip advisor stated that the hotel was about a 10mins walk. It was a lie!
We walked for almost 15mins and we still were not even half way there! So, we spotted a Atami Hotel, which had came up in our research and decided to give it a try.
熱海大飯店 ATAMI HOTEL
ADDRESS:No.258,Guangming RD. Beitou Chiu.,Taipei
TEL:(02)2891-5161
Public indoor hotspring : NT200, no time limit, need to be naked, male/female seperate pool
Private indoor hotspring: NT500 for 2 pax
weekday (mon to fri) - 2hrs
weekend (sat, sun and ph) - 90mins
Pictures were taken from their website because I somehow forgot to take a photo.
It's pretty cheap for an indoor hot spring so don't expect much. Basically, its just a hot tub for you to soak in.
Next time, i think i would prefer a public pool. At least the view should be good.
After which, we took a cab down to find a prawning location.
The boyfriend was adamant about going prawning. Something about Taiwan being the birth of prawning and all.
Told the uncle to drive us to anywhere that we could prawn at.
Apparently, all the prawning are at a certain location only.
Can't remember the exact location but its near Shilin.
The place was rather big and spacious. However, I can't stand how people could smoke indoors. Urghs.
The price of prawning isn't cheap though. It's more expensive than Singapore. So take note.
The baits!
The happy boy prawning!
The counter allows you to ask the staff to cook for you the prawns in 9 different ways. But because we didn't catch alot, we decided to bbq it ourselves.
By the time the boy finished prawning was about 9plus and we were famished because we didn't managed to have a proper lunch.
Ordered garlic kangkong, ginger beef, fried rice and clam soup!
The soup was perfect as the night was getting really cold!
And not forgetting the awesome prawns the boy cooked. :)
Headed back to the hotel after our dinner because we had a long day the next day!
Ending the post with a photo of us! :)

Taiwan Day 1 - Ximending
Hello. It's been ages since I've last blogged but i decided to blog down my Taiwan trip.
I mean, what better way to remember important events in life other than blogging it down.
So, lets go!
Day one started out with us heading down to the airport at 6am in the morning!
I was so excited about it that i managed to wake up at 5am for mummy to fetch me and Dave to the airport.
Having Mac's while waiting for our flight!
The mandatory plane shot.
The plane was unbearable for the boyfriend because he has very bad sinus problems and he can't take budget airlines due to their bad insulation. No more budget airlines for us! Only the atas way!
Reached the airport after a 5hours plane ride!
Then, we took a bus from the airport to somewhere near our hotel.
It cost us 90NT per pax for the Citiair Bus.
Forgot to take a photo but we bought a 5day unlimited data phone card at 300NT.
That was the BEST money spent this whole trip. It saved us countless of hours trying to figure out how to navigate around.
Luckily, the boyfriend is a whiz at navigation. I'm never lost because he will be using google maps to navigate to wherever I want to go. :)
So, we navigated our way to our hotel and this was what awaited us!
Free lounge with snacks available to take at any time of the day!
They have coffee, tea, fruit juices, sweets, biscuits, bread as well as maggie mee!
Super welcoming reception!
And this was our hotel room! Very very spacious and clean for a very affordable price!
The view outside our room. It was surprisingly not noisy at any time of the day.
Birthday present i bought for the boyfriend. <3 p="">
All dressed up and ready to head out to Ximending!
Bought 2 Easycards before heading out! Easycards are like Singapore's ezlink. Basically, you can use it for the trains as well as buses.
As it was almost 4pm when we were done with checking in, we decided to head down to Ximending for dinner and shopping!
The weather was fantastic! Everyone was wearing winter clothes although i didn't find a need to though.
But I'm generally not afraid of the cold. You should check out what i wore on the other days. People were staring because i wore too little.
Headed down to the famous Ah Zhong Mian Xian.
The excited us!
The mee sua wasn't fantastic though. I don't understand what the hype is over this. Although luckily they were rather efficient and we didn't have to queue for long.
And what is Taiwan without bubble tea!
Decided to catch a movie for the full. It's pretty difficult to choose the packages for food because they have so many different combos.
Decided to catch 'Non-stop' and after buying the tickets, we realised that it was such a wrong show to watch when we have to take a plane back in a few days times. Lol.
Queuing up for Hot Star!
Ximending is surprisingly crowded at 10pm! And all the shops were still open! Perfect for late night shopping!
Very spicy ji pa!
Ended up with buying their maggie mee back to the hotel to eat!
Always a must to visit the local 7-11 to check out what's nice there!
Finally the end of day1!
More to come soon! :)
