Can her belly get bigger than this? Yes!
Grey was not feeling well and went to bed early. I went to bed around 11:00 and just as I was about to write in my journal Londyn started crying "mommy I want you" I let her cry for about 2 min thinking she heard me getting ready and wanted to get out of bed. Then her crying became one of pain. I went in and picked her up but she wanted to get down. When I set her down she was walking funny and still crying so I picked her up, went in our room and said to Grey " she is acting weird". I layed her on our bed and noticed her stomach was HUGE! It was really really tight around her pajamas and hard as a rock. Our first thoughts were- something internally is leaking, something is swelling, etc... As parents I think everything horrible ran through our heads. She was clearly in a lot of pain and nothing (not even her mom) could comfort her so we decided to take her to the ER. It was the longest drive to the hospital. when we got there I started to get the feeling "Do they think I am a paranoid mom?". It was troubling and comforting when the triage nurse was really concerned about the size of Londyn's stomach. They put us in a room and said they need the doctor to come in ASAP. Just before the doctor walked in Londyn threw up everywhere! I didnt know a little girl could hold that much but she immediatly felt better. However her stomach was still big (not as hard) so the doctor was still concerned and wanted xrays. The xrays came back and showed AIR! Thats right, Londyn had so much air in her stomach (stumped everyone on how) that the pressure caused her to throw up. The doctor said since she was not in pain anymore we could take her home, watch her and see if she can release the air on her own. It was a huge relief, I am so glad it was nothing seriouse but for a parent it was very scary (especially when the doctor and nurses were really concerned). That was a quick summary but we did not get home until 2am, it was a long night. But Londyn woke up the next morning and has been fine ever since. Her little potbelly is back to normal.
Anyway I decided to post more random pictures since blogging is boring without pics.
This is actually the little bed Londyn got for her doll but she loves to get in it with her babies.

Londyn is 2! Where does the time go?
Anyway it has been way way too long since the last time I posted so I will catch you up on our lives and my New Years resolution is to post at the very least, once a week!
Christmas was great! I got a sewing machine and tons of sewing stuff. Grey got a silk screening machine and an ipod. And Londyn was spoiled, to say the least. We got her an old spring horse I found on KSL. She LOVED it! Greys parents got her the cutest little kitchen, it is way nicer than most regular kitchens I have seen with fake hardwood floors and granite countertops. It came with pots and pans that make boiling and frying noises. It is so cute and she absolutly loves to make "food" in it. My parents gave her some very cute clothes, a monkey backpack that she carries around all over, toys, etc... We had a great Christmas.
Two days after Christmas (Dec. 27th) it was Duncan's birthday so we took his name through the temple and did his temple work. It was a great experience and it made us all feel calm and comforted.
Okay, more recent news... Londyn is 2!!!
I cant believe it, she is getting so big and is becoming a little adult. She has always loved to be outside and this year has been fun with the snow, so we decided to go sledding for her birthday. We invited anyone who wanted to come and we went sledding on Saturday (pics below). It was so fun and she loved it, she especially liked eating the snow. We had everyone over for soup and cake after. Londyn really likes being around family and she had a good time. She got a playset for her doll (I forgot to mention she got an American Girl doll for Christmas) that has a carseat, highchair, swing, bouncer seat, stroller, diaper bag, etc.. She loves babies and I figured now she can take care of her baby while I take care of our new baby (not til March). She has had a lot of fun with it. She got some cute shoes from her favorite cousin/uncle DJ. And the cutest most comfortable blanket with a picture of Uncle Duncy on it from her favorite Olivia "eeaa". I wish I had pictures of all these things but I am lucky I am blogging. Well she had an awesome second birthday.
Grey is such a great dad and had lots of fun sledding with Londyn.
Well we plan on it being another year full of change, trials, learning, growing and fun. We are looking forward to moving in the next couple weeks (our first apartment/own place since our 1 year anniversary). We are excited about the addition to our family in March. And I have been working on a project that is almost ready to introduce to you, I hope it will be successful in 2009. We wish everyone a good year!
