  retrospect it's funny how time flies by. jaycee seems such donkey years ago.

today the sweetest thing happened.

first, silas, my favourite boy, was really naughty. he ran out of class and didn't want to go back in cos he was looking for his daddy. i said he couldn't cos it was raining and he'd get wet if he'd go back to the sanctuary to look for his daddy. and he said, "i like getting wet." so i told him he could sit with me at the door if he went back in and he agreed to, but when i said we should move closer to better see what the bible story was, he clung on and refused to let go. (here you're supposed to say awwwwwwww. (: )

i was teaching some of the older kids who would be leading worship with me the actions of the songs we're using. so it was just after lessons/sunday school and the other kids were still running around in new life room. then Alys (this angmoh/chinese 4-yr old) came and hugged me around the legs (she's too small you see) and refused to let go and looked up at me and kept giggling. Then Sara came and hugged me too. And then Naomi took my hand. so i had kids all over me and i couldn't move. but it was sweet la (: (AWWWWWWWW.)

and when we were practising Jesus You are my Lord, i saw some of the kids really worshipping God. it was such an encouraging and inspiring session. (:

had a nice talk with mr tengjin. haha okay so i established some things. (: haha it was a good-friend talk with lotsa suaning by him. i think he cannot talk to me without suaning me. =l but i guess we're close cos we just somehow click? as in we're just more inclined to certain people for no explainable reasons. yup. and in case you're wondering, he's not my type so no need to think. i cannot live with him suaning me the rest of my life, everyday. haha.

and i also talked to mad. haha he's called mad, i'm called crazee. haha. okay twas a nice talk too, though sometimes i don't quite understand him. haha and no, teng. me and mad are somewhat like me and you. haha. only that i'm closer to you of course (: i've known you for a longer time. so, naturally.. (:

yup. so basically a good week. and jesline, if you're curious, our dog costs $39.90, but it was on 50% off at the outlet at citylink. (:  ¶ 10:13 PM

  Today i begin a new series. e-mail from God for women by claire cloninger. this book is so wonderful i thought it a pity if i don't share it with all (: enjoy.

  I got into the Language Preparation Programme!

woooo! for those who don't know, the LPP is a programme where students like me who know zilch about french or german can study it, one module a sem, and at the end of it, study for one semester at a uni in austria, switzerland, germany or france. so i'm really excited at this opportunity (: yay yay yay.

tomorrow's the VCF Camp. (: excited but i'm not done packing yet. oopsies.

oh HAPPY BIRTHDAY XUEMIN! (:

we had lotsa fun today, me xuemin, jesline and huiyi. made lotsa noise too, expecially when joel's picture appeared on my laptop and when we were taking neoprints. so fun! (: after that headed down to esplanade library and watched 2 dvds with jesline. nice.

that's exactly how i'm feeling right now. it seems like all my friends are going to faculty of arts and social sciences at nus or ntu accountancy or some bio course. and dear jeanetter right here knows enough people going to science with her that she can use her hands and count them all. let's see. gabriel cheow (in 2 years' time), zitian, whee geok. these are the only people i know who are confirm going to science. how about VCF? uhhh. me and me alone. am i going to join NUS Choir? i have no idea. mr kwei asked me to, but i haven't given him an answer yet.

then there's my granny. she's in hospital right now, having an op tomorrow morning. from what i hear, there's lots of risks involved for tomorrow's op. i'm trying to act like it's going to be okay, but deep down in me i'm all flustered. scared. very very scared. i don't want to lose her. she's looked after me ever since i can remember and i'd have to say that she's got lotsa patience when dealing with a naughty kid like me! all i want is for her to wake up after the op tomorrow. to recover. i want my granny.

i'm scared and lost. i need a hug. i need to hear that everything's going to be alright. so many changes going on in my life all at once, i'm not sure if i can cope.
