We are alive!

Yes, we are still here. Just busy with other things. Sometimes I feel like I don't have enough time to clean my toilets, let alone post on my blog! (Yes, my toilets are not always clean!)

Here are a few pictures from November.

My wonderful brother-in-law emailed this to Jedd the other day. Jedd played it for me and I busted out laughing!!! It is way to funny to not pass along. Hope you enjoy the laugh. It will bring cheer to your day!!

P.S. Make sure your husband watches this with you!!

My Sweet Girl

My sweet little girl was the first to break a bone in our family, besides Jedd. (What bones hasn't he broken before?) Last night she feel out of bed. I heard a huge thud and a blood curdling scream! I went and picked her up and rocked her back to sleep. However, whenever I tried to move her she would scream out and cry in pain. She didn't sleep very well all night long. Then in the morning she kept favoring her arm and would not raise it above her head. I got into the doctor and she sent us up to Primary Children's Hospital for x-rays. (Better to be safe than sorry!)

While we waited for the x-rays to be taken she started playing more and even raised her arm above her head. She screamed through all the x-rays but seemed okay. I told Jedd I was probably wrong and that their would be nothing wrong. Then the radiologist came out to the waiting room and probed and poked her collar bone. She of course cried out in pain! He said she had fractured her collar bone!!

There is nothing we can do, but give her pain medicine. If she would wear it and it would help with the pain she could wear a sling. But, what 2 yr old is going to wear a sling? I am grateful we went to the doctor. I guess a mom's intuition is stronger than I thought. I am soo grateful she is going to be okay. She is a trooper!! Who would have every thought falling out of bed could break a bone...
