APAD - farewells and birthdays..

back at work on a saturday again. at least i had JR to play with. mas brought this little bugger out for show and tell. i was like, heyyy.. why is his head soo dirttyyy!! haha, mas went., "weeiiii!! he's not dirty! thats his juvenile feathers!" haha.. juvi feathers huh. come see me 2 years later and we'll talk. hahaha.

i love the 2. wayy more than those bloody nigerians i had to deal with all december. daniel's always asking.. so my princess, when are you ever gonna take up my one way ticket offer to kenya? hahaha. he owns a tour agency in kenya which runs those mega wildlife tour things. oh my. i'm so gonna visit him when i save up for it. if africans werent as dodgy or chauvinistic, or horny as they usually are, i would seriously consider taking him up on his offer to work at his place. deal with wild lions everyday? its to die forr.....

so mom and pop stole me out for lunch with yangwan and her boyfriend. brought them up to hilltop for some good ol indonesian delights. yummy. it somehow looks like a shot taken in hongkong in the early 90s. apart from the fact that if it really was, i would be a quarter my size. haha.

so because i had eldo's farewell to attend, i left hongweis soon after. i love his place. and his little veranda at the porch. such a perfect place to chill... but i was sooooo dead tired. i had no idea why. the rest gathered to gamble around the dining table. i knocked out after 30mins of his and byes to those who were leaving. good seeing seantang. i see him like..twice a year. over christmas and chinese new year. its almost as often as those who are festive christians. those who attend church during christmas and easter. hahaa. funny.

eldo :) study hard when you get to aussie. we will come visit in aug so make some roooom. i look terribly sleepy. this was after i woke up suddenly at 3am with my make up all smooodged..when they screamed GOAALLL!!! when man u finally scored after 9328420934 mins in to the game. i woke up and very vaguely remembered telling ju about the dream i just dreamt. about james owning this really cool house with a huge ass pool and glass door that opens up to his room. he was holding a party there at his new place. and everyone was cheering. reckon the cheers game from the tv subconsciously. funny.

so since we had so much ice, and the sun was ridiculous that day, we had to find a way to cool down. so i chucked an entire cup of ice down eldo's shirt. lesson learnt, NEVER MESS WITH THE MAN. he got ice shoved right into my shorts. you bugger....grrrr... and its no fight with eldo. he's 20 times my size!

APAD - happy birthday roddy

so its rods birthday. the kiddo who would usually get 3in1 presents due to the proximity of his special day with a whole load of other special days, i.e. christmas and cny. but it was goood. hongzhen decided to whip up a storm that night. he panfriend juicy scallops wrapped with bacon and drizzled with a delectable brown mushroomish sauce thing. oooh. yummmm...

the dinner crew. rod, glor, yoke, yuri and the chef. ooh. i loved the wine. thanks sweets. though it wasnt my birthday, it felt special enough.

so after the traditional wala-ing. our very indecisive friend decided its back to clubbing again, after he called off doubleO, then called off butter.. now he decided that zouk should be the better option. sheesh.

APAD - chu er

aboslute boring day. everyone was so excited over the greenie. gracie had friends over and all i wanted to do was to sit home in front of my comp. infact, this was the birthdate of nur..i mean..nurul's picture! roy's new girlfriend! haha. i'm so tempted to put the picture up. hehehehhe. i so should.. since only people who know him.. no..who know her.. would understand. hahahaha.

thank God for friends who stole me out for fresh air and coffee before i stuffed my face full with bak kwa. i even missed bai nianing at dre's just because i didnt have the mood to. darn it.

APAD - chu yi

one of the 4 accidents i saw on the way to my uncles. and he lives in grange road. thats like a 7min drive from my place. can you imagine how rushy/pushy/impatient people are to get to their angbaos?? haha. or maybe since its a cab, he's just pissy about having to work on the first day of the lunar new year. poor chap.


my uncles. the guy who delivered me into this world. and christine, and natty, and a whole load of other people i know. we asked him this year since he mentioned about how its been hs 40th year as a gynae, about the number of babies he's brought into this world. he just went, very nonchalantly, oh.. 5figured. definitely. like WHOA. i dont even think i've been alive for 5figured number of days! amazing!!


the sister. we had a really random conversation after this picture was taken. she said, aye, i think my face is sharper now dont you think. i'm like..hah, not as sharp as mine. (something we've always argued about as kids) this time, she's grown smarter. she retorted saying. yeah, only your face is, every other part of mine is sharper than yours. haha. like thankkksss gracie ngoi.. thanks....just for the record, i am loving my curves. hmmph!

i think this is the first time, other than a typical family portrait have we ever taken a photo with the cousins. i mean, we've got tons. like literally. the LIM family is HUGE. with 11 siblings in total, you can imagine the number of kids/cousins.. and newphew and nieces running about. when you have 5 full tables of yusheng to lao, you know the family's big. hehe. thats ziyi and ben, ronnie tay's son. cute kid. i likee.. haha.

i told you the family's huge. they've been trying to compile a directory and family tree for the longest time ever. and this needs annual updating. a new kid/member of the family is ever too frequent..
