Tumbling girls

I love our tumbling event each spring.  It is so fun to see the progress my girls have made.
It makes me so happy that they are out there getting activity and learning new things.

 Miss Miriam doing a cartwheel.

Miriam won a trophy for standing on her head the longest for her age group.  That girl has some skills.

 Rebekah walking on her hands.
Rebekah made great progress.  She has gotten a lot stronger this year.

Graduations & Promotions

We attended Marcus' end of the year school program in May.  He as so cute.  I was unsure as to whether or not he would recite his poem, but he did it and he did a fabulous job.  It was darling!

Marcus loves Mrs. Karie...even if he was a stink this year, I think she enjoyed him too.

His cute little class.

Kindergarten Graduation

I seriously can't believe she is done with kindergarten.  I love having this little buddy with me.  She is such a sweetie.  She was a great student.  She learned to read this year and all sorts of other wonderful things.  Her class sang lots of songs and even did some Dancing.  We loved Mrs. Gammon too.  She helped Miriam progress well.

Mom, Dad, Dallin, and the graduate.

Miriam turns 6

I can't believe she is already 6.  It seems like she just turned 4.
I love this girl.  She has her own way of living life and it is so entertaining and refreshing.
She disregards all ideas of what is popular or normal and chooses what she wants.
It really is wonderful and entertaining.
Such a sweet girl.

She of all my children has always requested breakfast in bed.

I purchased a cook book a year ago or so and Miriam has always eyed the picture of mint brownies, begging me to make them.  The first time I made them we did it together and now it is her one and only request on a regular basis.  She knows what she loved.

Miriam chose to have a Jake and the neverland pirate birthday party this year.  We had a blast with all her friends and did all sorts of fun activities.

Random Pictures

My happy guy!

It seems like we had a stomach bug of some sort all throughout the year.  Here is a picture of Miriam home sick (lovely hair, huh) reading a book to Marcus.  I love to see when they are good to each other.

Of course a Sunday afternoon.  These 2 fell asleep together, I couldn't resist a picture.  And as I spoke about in the picture just before this, there is Rebekah in the background with her throw up bowl.  Oh what a fun year.  I hope we do not have any more stomach bugs for a long long time.

Dallin took a while to start eating solid food.  I would say eating cookies was not a food that took him a while to decide it was good.  One day I looked over and he had downed a cookie with chocolate everywhere.  I asked Rebekah if she gave him a cookie.  She said, "No, Mom, he took it out of my hand. What was I going to do?" Oh to be the fourth child eating cookies before you have tried broccoli.

Zoo trip

Marcus had a field trip to the zoo so we brought the whole crew.

Getting out of the sun.

Climbing the rhino statue

The girls love playing on this elephant.  I sprays water on you after it plays a little tune.  They love it.  Marcus on the other hand thinks it is horrible. Funny guy!

Thanksgiving Point Gardens

We enjoyed the tulip festival this year with friends of ours.
We had a great day running and playing and getting wet in the fountains.

We brought our flat Hailey with us that our cousin Hailey mailed us that week.

I kept saying, careful Marcus, don't get wet.....um, yeah right.

nevermind....he couldn't help it.  It was just too fun.

 Miriam joined too, of course.

Soccer

Yes....we were the crazy parents who put all 3 of their kids in soccer that lasted a month.  It was the longest month of my life.  Well maybe excluding the last month of each pregnancy.  So it was the 5th longest month of my life.  Phew....we made it through all the practices and games.

While this dude looked super handsome in his soccer uniform he refused to play.  I think for the whole month he might have been in for 5 minutes of a game.  He quickly learned that all his teammates got the ball and it made him rather unhappy.  He wanted to play a solo game.  He was a bit of a grump.  Oh....maybe next year.

This doll just ran and smiled and was happy to be near people and get out there and try.  I think she liked the treats too.

Talking to all her soccer buddies.

Rebekah is getting better.  She listens well to Dad who instructs her from the sidelines.

Wheeler Farm

One Spring day we went for an outing and enjoyed the warmth.
We always love going to wheeler farm.

Oh, my Miriam, ALWAYS misplacing her shoes.  She brought the easiest to find and put on.  It wasn't until we were there that we noticed she wore her warm winter boots on a warm day.  Funny girl!

Easter

We met at the park and had an easter egg hunt with our friends.

Check ou Dallin trying to steal some candy from Marcus.  Smart kid.

Laura graduates

Yeah for Laura (Glenn's sister).  We are so happy she graduated.  She stayed at our house for the last semester during her student teaching.  We LOVED having her and have missed her ever since she has left.

Off to great things, I am positive!

Girls Weekend in Carmel

As tradition goes we held our girls weekend this year.  I was the host/planner, so we headed to Carmel again. I love these ladies (and Dad).  We had such a great time.  Thanks a million to Grandma Georgia White for letting use her house.

My beautiful Mother and my sweet Dallin.

Nana and Papa with Dallin.

All the ladies.  Sadly we were missing KT.

Lizzie and Rach a walkin' and a chattin'

Oh, we all love those cool breezy walks on the beach.  Don't they speak to your soul.

Dallin was SPOILED during this trip.  He was the only baby and he was passed around all weekend long.  He was so incredibly sweet and snuggly.  Everyone ate him up.  I am so glad he did not hit his stranger danger stage until after the trip.

Ahhhh, peace and quiet.  Obviously there were no children. We did this a lot!

We hiked point lobos.  It was a cooler day.  Mom and Dad came prepared to hike Mt. Everest.  Love those guys!
