I made this for the BFs birthday in March. It made me laugh, so I just had to stitch it for him. I put it on an 8x8 piece of cardstock so he could put it up on his wall. He loved it!
I have been lazy about taking pics and posting on my blog, but have not been lazy about stitching. I am working steadily on the Monopoly board (albeit slowly) and LK's 12 blessings of Christmas.
Last night I pulled out my mom's Christmas stocking and worked on it for about 4 hours. The last time I worked on it was in July 2009!! I had a great time and plan on continuing tonight.
For the last few weeks I have been sorting through, and cataloging my cross stitch magazines. I found almost 150 that I can live without. I am putting the contents of each mag on an index card, noting the designs I like, and those I "really" want to do :) So far it's going well. I am enjoying browsing through all my old magazines, so much I completely forgot I had! I was surprised to discover I have been subscribing to Stoney Creek for almost 10 years!! I love that magazine and doubt I can get rid of them anytime soon.
