I finally got one!!

I have been waiting and waiting and finally got a crop-a-dile! I have been saving a gift certificate to JoAnns I got for Christmas until I needed a pick me up, and that day arrived! I was able to use a 40% off coupon and it came to $23.99. We don't have sales tax in MT, so that was the final cost. Mom and I have been playing with it - punching holes and putting eyelets and such in everything. Kaylee is getting nervous :) We have not actually made anything yet, just walking around testing it out on different mediums. Now I am going to look into making floss tags and also want to use it as a finishing tool with some small designs.
My 85 year old grandma is coming tomorrow to spend some time with us. I am very excited about her visit! We get along very well and I always enjoy crafting with her.

Saturday Fun

On Saturday the BF and I drove up to Kalispell to see the sights. These are the beautiful Mission Mountains, a short drive from where I live. They are my favorite mountains, even with all I have to choose from!

This is Flathead Lake. This lake is huge and is the place all the rich out of state folks come to try and buy property. The mountains on the right are the Missions

Here is another view of the range, showing just how close people live to the mountains. I feel so lucky to live here!!

Progress pic

Here is the current progress on my computer corner. I'm sure not getting much stitching done, but at least I am getting some! As I am sure you all noticed, I am getting caught up with blogs very slowly.
I have not been feeling well the last couple of days which always brings any productivity that may occur to a standstill.
I spent yesterday with D. We went to Costco and I finally was able to afford the little refrigerator I wanted for down in my basement. Now there is a much reduced chance that I tumble down the stairs again since I don't have to go up and down for drinks. Then we went to the grocery store to get him some lunch stuff. I was a bit naggy and told him I did not want him eating doritos and skittles for meals anymore! He is so bad with the junkfood!!!!
He went to visit his family last weekend and his mom sent me a package of mint chocolate sticks. It really touched me that she thought of me :)
I hope all of you are well and that summer is happening where you live, because it sure isn't happening here....
