Catching Up

Okay it's been a while so here's just a sum-up.
We work same as always. Kindergarten extended day is over now so I sub alot more. Garen still works full time of course. We hang out at home or sometimes with friends.

We went sledding again.

Garen couldn't stay on the plastic sled. This is him going off that huge jump and landing on his hiney.

My wonderful mother and little sister came to visit for a few days a week or two ago. But I'm a LOSER and didn't take any pictures... It was awesome for have some girl time though. It was also 70-75 degrees all of that weekend which was great. Then came Wednesday and for the past week and a half it's been freezing, little rain, little snow, little hail, lotta WIND, not much sunshine:(

That same weekend just before they got here, we had a mini "olympics" at the gym. Here are some of my pre-team girls all ready for level 4 and some real meets.

Today I was having a nice little chat with a 7th grader who has downsyndrome, when she looks at me funny and says "why you's tummy soo BIG?" hahaha (luckily she said it to me and not someone who really has a big belly all the time.) So of course I told her "'cause I'm gonna have a baby." and she started asking all about it.... Anyway everyone, my tummy is big and I still have 3 months to go.

First week of April-ish ^

Today ^

How??

Easter Weekend

Saturday:
Garen worked in the morning and I hosted a birthday party at the gym from 2:30 to 4:30.
After I was done with the party Garen showed up with his two brothers and wanted to play in the foam pit. I made them sign wavers and let them at it for a bit while I finished cleaning and locking up. Not for too long though because they had to get ready for priesthood conference.
They went to their session in Rigby with Coy and their dad, while I went shopping for goodies with Kelsie and their mom.
When they got home we had icecream with lots of toppings!

Sunday:
EASTER! We stayed the night at Garen's family's house and the Easter Bunny must have found out we were there because when we woke up there was a trail of jelly beans, m&ms, and whopper eggs from the bedroom to the living room, where we found our baskets full of eggs, candy, and some new shorts! (He also brought some gifts for the little one who is not even here yet!)

We watched/listened to general conference of course and it was a perfect Easter because of it. I loved that they happened on the same day this year.
Between sessions, Garen's dad wanted to all go for a drive so we did... and Dallin just happened to bring some sleds......

Derrick fell down almost as soon as he got out of the car.

They were using the cat track as a jump. It was huge but I never got the picture at the right time.

Garen and his brothers. They had fun.

It snowed like crazy the last couple days. Inches and inches!

.....Still ready for spring......

WHY?!

Well, as soon as that last post was given a title... This is what happened...
April 1st. and again April 3rd.

But hey on the 2nd I stayed home and used my new sewing machine to make this cute cute little dress for my baby. OK I'm a little early for her but I need practice and I'm just so excited!
(The bottom edge is not quite finished. It will have a band of orange along the bottom.)

Also on the 2nd, we went with friends to see:
...and it's a pretty good one!
There were also alot of good previews for movies we will have to see this summer.
(...if I can handle it. The theatre last night was so hot and being pregnant did not help in matters of comfort).

Ready for Spring

Wednesday is the one day that we both work in the morning so after work we went fishin!
(I broke my line and lost my pretty yellow lure. Oops.)
I'm looking  plump in this picture.

On the way out to the fishing spot, there is this b-e-a-utiful yellow house with a wrap-around porch and lots of pretty windows that I "ooo" and "aww" at everytime we pass it. I took a picture so someday years from now Garen can built me one:) ... It was kind of a cloudy day so it doesn't look as pretty as it does in the summer with all the green grass and garden and everything but still, beautiful.

I also went shopping for a bridal gift and ended up coming home with Starburst Jelly Beans and yellow tulips for myself. I just couldn't help it. It's funny how those people in the store get you to buy stuff just by putting in every isle, so by the time you've passed the stinking jelly beans 6 times, there's just no saying "no."

I subbed in a 3rd grade class this week. It was the last day before spring break and Easter so there was a lot of egg-hunting and sugar highs mingled with me trying to get some math and reading lessons taught. Ahh!
