Today's painting for dailypaintworks.com. It's called Finale, and it was made during my foray into encaustics. I love the look of encaustic pieces, but it turned out to be a bit more involved than I was ready for at the time. Not saying I'll never get into it, but right now I'm happy doing mixed media acrylic pieces.

This is the latest painting going up on dailypaintworks.com. It's called "Smile", and it's mixed media and acrylic on a 6"x6"canvas. I really love this piece, it's going to be hard to sell it! Old cameras are just so graphically interesting and one of my favorite things.

 My trip back east was wonderful. It was a great mix of work and family time, and I've got a few pies in the oven from the trip. A jewelry party, some possible shops for jewelry, and fantastic photos that I plan to do paintings of. Overall a very successful trip. I will share photos tomorrow.
