Yesterday it was the sock and the computer. Today it's everything else. So, seriously, whoever has the voodoo doll that looks like me, PLEASE give me a break.
I had to leave school early today for a doctor's appointment, but when I woke up this morning I didn't feel good. The kids in my class had been kind enough yo share their colds with me. The cough, the congestion, the sneezes.....GROSS!
As I'm leaving school I get a phone call from the doctor's office saying they need to reschedule my appointment. I figure, oh well, the sub is already here and I feel like crap and I need to go to the store to buy some things for our 100th day of school celebration. I decide that I might as well go home and go to sleep then go to the store later. The sleep will be good for me.
And it was! I still feel crummy, but I slept well. Lol!
When I woke up I was hungry and decided that I needed soup. So, being the awesome cook that I am I opened a can and started cooking. Actually, I just kind of stood there and watched and waited and waited and waited and waited.....
Then I screamed,
"OMG! The oven is broken!"
I immediately call OCG cause, you know, what else am I going to do?
Me: I don't feel good and I want soup and the oven is broken!
OCG: Wait a minute, did you just say you're making soup in the oven?
Me: umm, duh, how else am I going to make soup?
OCG: I don't know. Maybe on the STOVE or in the microwave like a normal person.
Me: Ugh! I said oven, but I meant stove. That's the top part, right? It's on the top part, but it's not getting hot.
OCG: Did you turn it on?
Me: (getting angry) Of course I turned it....oh, wait a minute...
Yea, I had forgotten to actually turn the STOVE on and I'm pretty sure OCG is still laughing at me.
I gave up on the soup and went back to bed.
I've spent the last couple of hours looking for my 100th day of school t-shirt and I can't find it. It's hard to keep up with something you only wear once a year.
Now, I'm taking my sick self back to bed and hoping that somehow the t-shirt will magically appear in the morning and the cold will disappear.
