Chinese New Year Commenced!

My favourite time of the year. Chinese New Year's eve. 

This girl skipped her nap in the noon, decided to take it at 5pm, hence sleeping through the reunion at my mum's.

 But woke up just nice for her favourite cousin's house and played through midnight. The only time of the year she slept past midnight.

Waiting for reunion dinner. I love my earrings, hence the need to show it in pictures. I'm very into tassels now.

 Junk food season.

These three girls who played till midnight. The room looks like a typhoon went past. I'm glad its not my house, though potentially it might happened tomorrow.

 After dinner just sitting around with people we see once a year.

Day 1

Grouchy again. She slept past midnight and we had to wake her up at 7am for visiting. 

 Went to my mum's, followed by my aunt's (here), my grandma and my uncle's.

 A family portrait for the new year. I really liked this, not taken by my mum. My mum took another one which turn out terrible.

 And the last stop was his mum's.

Waiting for lunch. I love my earrings again!

Watched San Andreas. Might not be very Chinese New Year appropriate. 

Actually, Chinese New Year felt almost over. 

Round 2 Reunion Dinner

Saturday.

We were kinda busy. She has piano classes at 3pm. And somehow we met Paw Patrol, and we were there longer than we should. Tiger parents brought her to swimming class thereafter. She kinda can swim now, frog style. Its kinda amazing watching her swim like an adult. Full frog style and all. 

 We had our #2 reunion dinner.

Spot the humongous pot of sharks' fin. Thats my highlight of every.single.year.

 Sunday.

We are hosting lunch on Chu 2. 10 adults and 10 kids. So after our library run, we went grocery shopping and prepared the frozen stuff.

Got my Chu 2 lou hei order as well.

This week's art class - snails. 

Efficient much. But didn't get to go Chinatown as planned. 

Saturday morning

Finally I'm back! Spent the morning with 1:1 time with her cause both mummy and daddy has to go for dental. 

Always books over toys.

 A useless thing from Minisou which she's quite intrigue with. It looks like a lousier version of a binoculars.

 I wanted to get a eyeshadow from Mac which I saw at the India airport. Now I regret not buying it, because it seems like Singapore's Mac doesn't carry?

So I had to get myself a consolation.

Saturday

So I came back for the weekend from India! One of the perks of this job, I can come back weekend. It does make India trips less painful.

I'm a bit into eye shadow recently after I was taught how to use it, and now I use it religiously everyday to work, weekends too!

I spent a fair bit of time at the airport look at eye shadows and got the latest palette from Chanel. Chanel works well, the colour stays through the day and doesn't fall off to my face at the end of the day. I realised the cheaper brands does.

 We're off for a long day!

 Went shopping! Wanted to try a few pieces at Hollyhoque.

 We went for our first proper piano class and she really enjoys it. We let her did some art after that, and made her promise is this going to be the last one. It was really expensive.

 Watching tv with a beanie on. I thought it looked funny.
