Sundays

She wrote us a letter on Saturday night.

Readable version: Dear mummy and daddy, I love today. It was super fun because today you bring me to the big trees there.
Sunday.

Mummy suddenly had the idea that she needs a stationary trolley so that her stationary are not invading the entire dining table and all over the place.
I like it that she loves to read. She reads when she gets a chance.

So we went. We were in and out of Ikea in record timing of 15 mins.
She loves doing this, just watching cars whizz by.
Cake from one of my new favourite Japanese cake shop to end Sundays. Mondays are brutal. Especially when India is in the picture.
Art Class today.

We are starting piano!

Yesterday was a long day, we left the house at 8am++, we reached home at 9pm++, though we did come back in between.

After Gardens by the Bay, we went PS Cafe for lunch at 12pm, which was surprisingly empty!!

We took a zillion of these shoots as she kept hugging me tightly which I love. :)
She loves the flowers. Maybe we'll go to the market tomorrow to get some for our dining table.
Digress. I love back hugs too. Small back hugs are cute and warm. And I love my earrings.
Emma had her first music trial. She was very busy this year. Out of the blue, she wanted to learn drawing and piano.

At the end of the trial, we signed up piano for her.

We wanted to leave her in the class, but the rest of the helicopter parents were there, and it was weird if we weren't. Hubs sat in and he was obviously bored.
The trial ended late, but she still wanted to do some art and craft at the mall. And since we're already late, we let her be and did her first craft in the mall.
We off the lights at record breaking 10:30pm. -.-

Gardens by the Bay!

I think we might have grow a liking for Gardens by the Bay. At least for Emma.
I'm growing my love for there as well, there're many parts of it which are not filled with tourists, and can be actually very quiet and nice.

She wanted to see this. Humongous floating baby. I kinda grew to like this picture.

It was a really good morning we left the house at 8 plus and only left at 12pm. There wasn't much crowd, we could stroll nicely, most places where nicely sheltered by the trees so it wasn't as scotching as I've imagined. But I did regret not bringing out the portable fan.

New sunnies made my week!

Saturday:

Feeling super chio in my new sunnies.
We headed out early to meet the ID to settle some stuff.
She's such a breeze. Sitting there playing with her stuff while we picked tiles, finalised liminates and designs for her rooms.
She then went for her ride while mummy took a long snooze.
And we ended with dinner at Ice Edge!
Sunday:

She's always the first, and while we're still snoozing in bed, she did her own thang.
It was a weekend with lotsa cardboard at home, because we finally build myself a bedside table from Ikea. Finally.

It was raining in the morning and we couldn't have a breakfast picnic. But we still manage to head to the beach after breakfast at home.
It was nice and breezy after the rain.

 Heading out for art class.
Added 'fishes' to the list of things she can finally draw.
It was just mummy and Emma for dinner.
It is expensive to eat with her. She took 3 plates and a cold soba = $20
 Mummy ate a chawamushi.
