The last second day of the year

Robot daddy made. Wearing her heelys which she hasn't practiced enough.
We're having breakfast by ECP. Haven't done it in a while, the weather was really nice too.

I like this. Just us. The other grp beside, was a maid with 2 kids, and the parents sitting comfortably far away, resting I guess. I would think if we had a maid, this wld definitely be us, conveniently having the maid look after the kids, when actually maybe what the child wants is for their parents to play with them? And not a maid to 'look after' and play with them?
We've been wanted to do this every time we come here, but didn't get around to doing it till now.
Its expensive though, $40 for an hr. She said she had fun, obviously since she wasn't cycling.
We were there long enough that its lunch time.
Recent library visits where I picked three of the Harry series for her, but I do think she finds it slightly boring since she doesn't repeat these books much.

Christmas!

Its not a day we celebrate. Theres no meaning for us, but this year because we're bored, and most importantly because Emma wants to 'celebrate Xmas' aka she-wants- presents. So we had a gift exchange.

First, Xmas breakfast at Tim Ho Wan.
 Gift exchange!

Its been a while since we do gifts for anniversaries, birthdays or any gifts. So this was really a nice surprise since the necklace I've been wearing was a gift since 10 yrs ago. It was the first few gifts when we were dating, a diamond-less one from Tiff as well.
I've always wanted one with diamonds, but didn't get around to put money into it since bags has always been higher on the priority list.

Emma had an amazing idea gift for his dad. We were shopping around at Nex for her to get a gift, and she said she wanted to make a photo album. I took out my old craft box which she was really shock as it has loads of stickers, papers, and crafty stuff. And she did the entire album all by herself.

She got a remote control car from hubs which was  something she wanted. She's really good at it now.
My all time favourite from Liho - C5
We went to try a new Korean restaurant at Central which was amazing!

Thats our quiet Xmas. And I love it.

Summing 2018

2018 has been an amazing year.

Jan: She started in art class enthusiastically, but I guess the teacher killed her interest and we stopped after 2 semesters.
She started on piano too, and loves the teacher. So we're still doing piano.
February: Went for my usual annual Cali work trip and played curling which was sooo fun!
March: Went for an amazing Italy trip touring Milan, Florence, Venice which was amazing!
And I got my red jumbo which ended my Chanel bag wants. That was the last on my list.
April: I went on a work scouting trip to KL, for a day just to view hotel venues which was mindless and fun. And returned in August for a Finance offsite (aka have fun and no work) again in August.
April: Organised her biggest party since its her last year in pre-school, threw her a Macs party for her pre-school friends. We're not doing that again next yr.
April: I did went India, which I decided to conveniently forget.

May: Went Seoul with hubs and shop, eat, shop eat!
June: Went Langkawi! I'm starting to love these short beach holidays. Not so fun for hubs, since he had dengue.
July: Went Shanghai for a work trip and visited one of the most beautiful water town Xitang.
August: Won a global company wide award and flew to Cali again to collect the award!
September: Flew back in time for our first ever campervan trip! Which we're planning to do it again!
October: Went on a girls trip with 6 girls from work to Bangkok and it was soo fun, we've already got the next one planned!
October: By this time I was a bit tired of the travels honestly, even if its for fun. This is the 6th fun trip for the year, I'm just tagging along with my parents and hubs didn't come along, I didn't even like Taiwan in the first place. So we went on a free trip to Taiwan, and I must say I had fun too.
November: It was MY month, so I walked in and got myself a bag I've wanted.

December: She graduated, and I think this will be how it feels when she gets married.

To add it up: I might have travelled a bit too much with 6 holiday trips, so I'll want to cut down next year hopefully. We've got Phuket (March), Bintan (April) and June (Italy) already planned and booked, so I'm not sure how cutting down is working out....

I've probably spend too much on useless stuff as well, 1 Chanel and 1 LV.

But the most important thing, it was an amazing year!!!!!!!!!! I have the most amazing job, travelled the most for holidays. I haven't travelled for work for 6 months, which I think is the first in my entire career!

K2 Graduation

Its a big day for her today. Woke up at 7am so that we can reach SOTA by 8am.

The trouble with being in a branch, there're 5 schs holding the yr end graduation together. It was hard to sit through honestly, cause I was truly there just for my own daughter. So it was a pain to sit through the other four performances with no one I know, though i didn't really watched any of them.
Got her dried flowers since she really liked the flowers I got for my bday.
Got my craving solved today. Been binge watching kdrama and I've been wanting to eat the army stew we had in Korea. Accidentally came across one in a hawker and it was really good, and the price was even better.

November weekend

After travelling for a while, its nice to be back into the routine weekends.

Her picking up her baby toys, a juggle.
Acting all crazy on a Saturday morning while waiting for us to finish breakfast.
It was barely 10am, but since there's still time before her piano class, she had a cake.
Nice and rainy noons at home.
She woke up at 6:30am this morning filled with energy.
And we went for a library run.

Comparing a few library, I must say Nex still has the best variety. Central Library has the worst, and noisest. Ang Mo Kio is next after Nex, followed by Bishan. Just now there was this book from Bishan's. It is about daddy's new girlfriend. I guess we're in a very open environment now.

Day 5 - Taiwan - Home sweet home

Last day and the check out was 12pm! We stayed in till late and had breakfast at Starbucks.

One of her good mood days were I could get away the many photo requests.
I must say Taiwan has one of the better lounges.

I'm glad we're done for 2018. I really really can't wait for us to do Disney Cruise again in June!!!
