2016 to 2017

2016

This year has been amazeballs!

March we went Amsterdam & Belgium
September we went Bali
(October I went Japan)
November we went Perth

November was life changing for me. I join the best company in the world (in my personal opinion) after a 6 months long interview, I'm enjoying the ride for now and totally loving it. It was indeed an eye opener living in it now.

Weirdly, 2015 was amazing too, sold our house, bought a new house and got a new car. 2016 I changed my job. I wonder whats there for 2017.

2017

We have planned for the happiest place on earth!!

March we are going on a Disney cruiseship!! And visiting Disneyworld at the same time!! I've been waiting for this for a lifetime!!!

Tentatively we've planned Hokkaido and Perth. (Secretly I'm planning in my heart a beach resort, cause Emma love those)

Not secretly, I hope we can save significantly more. Which is so ever possible with the situation now. I'm watching consciously that we don't change our lifestyle. Actually we have.

- After moving to Kovan, with the wet market right opposite us, we have cut down siginificantly on cafe breakfast. The last time we had was September in Perth. We love our hawker food anytime. Last time in Seng Kang, hawker food was a car ride away, so we always end up in cafes. Not so much now.

- I've changed my cosmetic range! Which is significant from my Metro bills.

- I can't remember the last time I bought a full price Zara item. I don't think I bought any this year. Now that I know I can get my sizes during sale, I can wait till sale.

Ah, I joined Amore though. Thats about $800 a year. I liked it. Though I'm not siginificantly slimmer. I guess I'm doing it just for my own joy. $800 for weekly joy.

Last 2016 Friday

8:36am

Sitting at one of my favourite coffee outlet drinking English Breakfast tea though, cause if order mocha/lattee need to add $. I love the $6.90 set.
Just sent her off to school for the day.
While I enjoy the last day of my leave. I love my new hairband from minosou!
I'm in a hairband phase. After being hair accesory-less for a decade, I've decided to accesorise it for a bit. I definitely don't have the time to curl it with Emma throwing tantrum on a daily basis everyday she wakes up, hairband is the most efficient way to go. Though secretly my eyes have been eyeing for the babybliss for a while.

Yesterday situation.

I'm halfway through this, will finish it today!
House situation. We stay on the 4th floor, but the wind always feels like a tornado. And this happens sooo often.
I like the wind, but I'm not liking the dust. Good thing we have bobo.

Being super efficient, I emptied 2 shelves in the study room, to the storeroom.
We have so much shit, we can never move smaller than this!!??!! Considering we have 2 storerooms now, they are filled to the brim.

Yesterday lunch situation.
The salad was free, there was 1-1 at Ice Edge. I wanted to eat in and enjoy my lunch, but the queue was crazy on a Friday noon. Lola's queue was crazy too. No one's working. I had to pack back.

Enjoy the last 2016 Friday!

Last 2016 Thursday

Forgot to post my gym outfit yest!
The top is old, the bottom is new though! From Cotton On sale recently, and I love it!!! Now I can understand why people wear tights to work out. I have a strong urge to buy a non sale piece, I do like Cotton On, they have very reasonable prices. When Lululemon came my office and was selling their clothes, the staff was saying 'our clothes can last forever, so its very worth it for the price.' Lululemon clothes are exorbitant. When I heard 'last forever', my mind had a auto switch off mode. Why would I want my clothes to last forever!!! Then I will have no reason to buy new ones!!

Breakfast situation this morning.
I wanted to have my SB set, but my stomach cheated, it wanted something else. It was delicious!!

Just done sending Emma to school, at Nex now. Going NTUC to buy bread, walk around a bit and go home to do another set of Lego! Go for my dental appointment and go Lola cafe for lunch!

Considering this week we could have gone for a holiday, I guess we saved quite a bit not going anywhere? And of cause my husband lost his keys which costs $3-400 to replace, 怨望$.

I actually can't wait to go to work. I have got myself new outfits from Zara sale! And of cause, I miss the sumptous meals.

My coll and I started this exercise regime, actually she did this calender thingy.
It says Josephine and Yang run towards Victoria Secret. I had to double check with her to make sure its private on my calender because people might fall off their chairs if they see this. We are running every Mon and Fri at 5pm and yoga classes conducted at work at 6pm on Mondays. She forsee this will last 3 months, hence the calender was set for 30 times. I have a shorter expectations, I think it will last 2 months. She's running Weds alone because I have Amore classes at home and leaves work at 4:30pm.

Wed - Still on leave

I hate zumba. I hate it so much, I can't wait for the class to end, so I left early. The tempo was definitely too fast for my liking. The steps were too much for my goldfish memory.

I'm borderlining on how much I like kickboxing. The routine is definitely a problem for my goldfish memory.

After zumba, I realised I actually like holding positions. I like planking. I'll rather hold positions, or variations of planking and hold for 60 seconds till my hands and legs tremble.

This marks the end of my zumba. Ever.

In other news, I spent today fixing up my Hotel!

Bits of sadness. Bits of happiness. Loads of accomplishment.

I ❤️ Starbucks

Situation now, 9:15am.
Actually not really, I have finished my croissant and drank half of my tea. This is one of my favourite SB. Empty nice and quiet. I love their $6.90 set, so worth it and delicious.

I am going for Amore class later. I'm trying out zumba for the first time, hope my legs and hands doesn't get tangled. The other time I tried a new class, I had such a difficult time following without getting my limbs in a mess.

Perth - Day 3

This is our shortest Perth trip ever, in our lives. I hope and don't think we'll do anything shorter. Actually 5 days is nice, but 3 days is consolation thinking that we actually miss it if we skip this year. We have decided that we will abandon the idea of not visiting Perth any year, we'll just go every year!

Since its our last day, we checked out at the latest possible timing because we're taking a midnight flight.
Her neck is still cmi.
Dim sum for last day!
Actually I should stop ordering har keow and siew mai.

Last dinner, we went Broadway. Again. Creatures of habits/memories.

Top up petrol before we return the car.

Miss Kee is in ultra grouchy mood because midnight, wayyy past her bedtime.
And we reach Singapore on Sunday 6am!
One rest day before I start work the next day! So glad we made it to Perth this year! So short so easy to post!

Perth 2016 - Day 2

Day 2
Breakfast near Vic's Park. She's feeling much better, but her stiff neck still affects her mood.

Our countless times to Cavershem Park.

Continued on to city.

We had to visit the school. Every. Single. Trip.

As usual, we wanted to have Vietnosh for dinner. I missed the broken rice, BUT THEY DIDN'T HAD IT ON THAT DAY!??!!?!? Sadness max.

She was all smiles and behaving while waiting for the food. We wanted to pack back so that we can eat freely from Vietnosh, while Ems still can have her porridge comfort food from a chinese place.
Since they didn't had broken rice, we bought crispy noodles, kerbarb from Broadway and porridge for Emma.
We ended our night as usual, going to bed at around 9-ish.
