We love our breakfast!

Woke up early in the morning at 5:45am to go for a run in the gym! After I was done at 6:30am, the gym was still empty. And I've decided to be a temporary kind soul and went to get breakfast. The thing about going to the hawker at 6:30am, there is no queue anywhere and I'm not sure which is the usual popular stalls that are super long queue.  

The teochew fishball stall, luckily I was right in front, there were at least 20 people behind me.

And we are ready for the day after a sumptous breakfast!

Ulcer

Two days ago Emma couldn't sleep.

E: Mummy I not feeling well. (rubbing her face and stomach, sticking her entire hand into her mouth)

I took a look into her mouth, there is a ulcer.

M: You have a ulcer in your mouth, drink some water and sleep early it will go away.

E: I dowan Elsa, I want to go to hospital, I'm not feeling well.

M: Its ulcer, not Elsa. No need to go hospital, just sleep early and it will go away. (repeat mode)

E: I need to go hospital. (repeat mode)

Until she went to sleep.

Baking Weekend

Saturday nights

We gathered a courage of festive and decided to go Cheenatown. We almost wanted to turn back when we found a carpark with no queue and got ourselves a lot! 

After 9 years of being house owners, this is the first time we got ourselves a New Year decor, all because Emma is in a super festive mood, so we've decided to add some festive to the household. 

Sunday

We had been living in Seng Kang, it wasn't bad, theres a coffee shop a few blocks away. But its just a coffee shop until we now moved opposite a hawker center!!! 

This is too much for the 3 of us for breakfast, even though the carrot cake was just $2.

We had plans for the day.

We attended a baking session with Emma's favourite friend.

The schedule was not bad, while waiting for the dough to cool, there was a story telling session.

And we continued.

While waiting for the cookies to bake in the oven, there was a craft session and the kids made a dragon!

After the session, we went for lunch at The Sunday Market, our friends came over for the kids to play and for a quick swim.

Sad. The weekend's out. But we are one weekend closer to CNY!

How great is your weekend?

Finally its the weekend. The week seems to pass slower as CNY approaches, really can't wait for CNY!!

Friday:

To celebrate arrival of weekend, we went to Wimbly Lu for dessert!

Did some grocery shopping too.

Saturday:

Since we stopped our classes, we went for a jog! Its been a long time since we did outdoor jog at the park.

Had a super fruitful Saturday morning. We went Taka to get a kettle, we manage to get a red one there, a lot of other retailers were out of stock. 

Then went Metro for its 20% storewide, we got two Lego Miles set for Emma, and refilled my cosmetic stuff. 

Afterwhich we went Chinatown to collect pictures which I've intend to replace the current frames at home. We were all done by 11:30am!

In the noon, I cleaned the frames (after 8 years), THEY WERE SO MUCH CLEARER after that!! Replaced the pictures, though they are still not up the wall. After Emma woke up from her nap, we even got to go for a swim! The Saturday has been great so far, and I know its gona get better tomorrow!!

Hope it doesn't rain later so we can make a trip down to Cheenatown!

Tuesday night convo

My mum was sitting in our new car for the first time.

Emma: Popo you like my new car?

M: Yes I like your new car!

Emma: You like my new car or my old car?

M: I like your new car.

Emma: I like my old car.

M: Why?

Emma: Because the old car has my stickers.

Reunion Dinner #1

One of the school runs morning when she refuse to leave the house and decided to plank herself on the sofa.

So! Our weekend! It started on Friday night where we had our dnd, the highlight was this guy who really made my night! 

Plus it was a totally not bad looking angmo who kinda look like Tony Stark.

Our last Yamaha class 

Saturday night shopping at Paragon ended up with supper at Gastronomia.

We had wanted to visit USS on Sunday, but she asked whether we could go to The City instead and so we did!

And we ended off with a first reunion dinner for the year!

So last wk, Ems went for her first dental visit. The visit was alright since it was a PD dental and the experience would have totally made Emma not freak out. But the result wasn't good, we are returning for more future visits. This has made us more keen to wean her off the bottle cause of the decays. Its been successful so far, and there might be potential future savings, cause seems like shes totally not into milk as well. Oh wells.

Did I mention, I still have 3 cans of powder? Terrible planning.

Our new ride

Had such a nice buffet on Saturday! Definitely going to be back to celebrate Emma's birthday! Its been a super long while since I had buffet, years, can't remember how many years ago, got a free treat from my good friend! 

Hubs had to pick up the car, so I had to bring Emma along for our gathering. She was such a company to bring along! She enjoyed the food too, so she was just focus on eating.

Ritz then gave her some colouring supplies which was her favourite! Though we brough ours along, its always a nice surprise for her.

And hubs came with our new ride for the next 10 years! Nothing fancy, something which could fit comfortably with our pocket.

And now we're off for a Macdonalds party!

Tuesday night

Yesterday night hubs was about to go to the gym for a run.

Emma: Daddy I need to go for a jog too.

Hubs: Why?

Emma: Because I am so fat.

Which isn't true, I think shes at her skinnest period of her short life. For some reason, shes hasn't been eating rice, so she's out of carbs. But shes been addicted to cheese with bread though. Oh wells.

I like it that shes very entertained at home with her toys, crafts and puzzles. So much so that she rather not watch cartoons on tv, she rather play with her toys.

2016

Things on my to-do list for 2016:

1) To lose 2 kg.

2) To do up the rest of the home. Which means hubs needs to nail and hang up the frames. After our bed frame arrives in February, I need to arrange and put up the rest of the frames in the room. Either that, or decide to change the theme of the frames and throw the entire master bed room batch out.

Our wall has been in this stage for a really long time

3) Not do anything major i.e. move house or buy a car. Since we've done all that in 2015, this should be easy to achieve.

4) Keep Emma away from iPads and iPhones. We've done it for so long, so just hope this year she doesn't get hooked on it, and we can stay away from it. I always think no matter how educational the app it, its just as bad.

5) Decide on the locations of our other 2 trips for the year, and hopefully it will be as fun as our past trips!

6) Not too sure about this, to get a bag on my wishlist. The last bag that I really wanted was a Chanel Boy. I got it in 2013 during our France trip, after that I realised, the joy over a bag was really short lived (yes it took me this long to realise). Last time, I used to want a bag on my wishlist every year, people who don't know me will think that I didn't change after I have a kid, but honestly, I think I've changed. I no longer lust as much for such bags. I do have a bag or two which I want, but they seems better on my wishlist. 2015, I only got a Loewe from London's outlet, this wasn't on my wishlist. The price was reasonably not-to-bad, and I was high on holiday toxins, so I got that. Currently, off my head, I think I would love a Hermes Lindy. But again, the urge is not very strong. I think I can do without it for a long while.

Port Dickson 2015 - Day 3

As usual, she woke up bright and early, which was good. We started our day very early.

 Finally we have our own personal photographer!

We headed home right after breakfast. She was busy drawing, this always keep her busy for a while, even at home. 

This marks the end of our last trip for 2015, and last trip ever (hopefully) for Port Dickson.
