Kok Kok
These days those rides which usually costs 20 cents are hard to come by, and mostly its $1-$2. I'm not a big fan of $1, but $2 not too bad, because we can get more economies of scale out of it.

Its been a super long while since we last had a western breakfast, it was probably since the London trip in March that we took a long break. So this Kith trip in Sentosa was preplanned since a week ago and I was super looking forward to it!!

Splendid Saturdays
Saturdays are classes day. Except today. I've decided to pontang Japanese class for some shopping! Actually I wanted us to pontang, but she wanted to go for her music class. So only me skipped my class.
One of my favourite dresses! She was all sticky even before we can leave the house.
Happy Emma waiting..
Very sleepy daddy.
After class we had free balloon!

My husband, the daddy and maybe the maid too
Recently Emma hasn't been very happy with daddy. She's happily talking to mummy, then when daddy appears, mummy turns to talk to daddy! She doesn't let daddy kiss mummy too, because mummy can only kiss Emma. I'm beaming with joy here, because I'm obviously the hot property! Of cause ignoring the times when she says 'I don't like mummy, and runs off.'
Yesterday we wondered whether Emma might have thought daddy is the maid around. If you compare the main job scope of daddy to the current maids looking after kids. Its pretty similiar.
- Wash milk bottles and all other baby related things. Actually he washes all non baby related things too. So the frequent reply to 'where is daddy' is often replied with 'daddy is washing things'
- Bathes for Emma
- Fetches Emma to and fro school. Fetches all of us everywhere.
- Cooks for Emma (and the family)
- Washes clothes for the family.
I'm guessing a conversation between Emma and Coen (her best friend now):
C: hey who's that guy?
E: mummy says hes daddy.
C: What does he do?
E repeats his job scope as above.
C: Oh, thats not your daddy. My daddy don't do these things. My maid does.
E gets confused, and her head starts to configure daddy as The Maid.
On a happier note, we woke up to this cute sight and couldn't help staring at her.
Happy Midweek!

Inside Out Weekends
Pre-baby, weekends are enjoyable and nice. Every week we will sleep in, then Saturdays we will go shop, chill in cafes, movies etc. Sundays we will go for breakfast, and stay in for the rest of the day nua-ing. Life was happy, thats what we thought at that time.
Post-Emma, Friday evenings are my happiest!! I've already blogged about our trip to Sunday Market.
Saturday we each (except hubs) went for our classes. She made a hole in her new shoes cause she was dragging her feet while scooting. We went to the shoes department and wanted to get her similar range of shoe, but she just pointed out this pair.
'Coen has this. I want this!'
So that was the only pair that she's willing to wear. Coen is her best friend. The boy who stalked to hug her during her first day when she just joined school. Now they are best buds.
We spent the rest of the day in the indoor playground. We hasn't been there for ages, almost half a year?
We ended our day with more scooting!
Sunday is our free day. We had breakfast at our usual prata place.
We had plans for Sunday! We are catching Inside Out!
This is a really good cartoon! Emma probably don't understand the storyline, but its still cartoon. She loves anything cartoon, storyline or no storyline.
Affer dinner at hubs' place, it was kinda sad that the weekend was almost over. We were almost home and drove past Jalan Riang and decided to try our luck at a parking lot. VIOLA!!
All we needed was dessert to end our weekend! We had merguines, lemon cake, and molten lava with ice cream!!
Post-Emma, weekends are much much more precious and even more enjoyable! Last time, when you tell people of your weekends and how nice it is, watching movie with hubs, shopping, nuaing doing nothing. And people with kids will tell you blah, blah, blah. They are simply words that goes in one ear and comes out of the other. It is until we've got our own, suddenly these enjoyments make more sense! Even having desserts together feels SOO much fun seeing her enjoying it.
Now, lets get to the 9pm sugar rush. She was just.... HIGH on sugar.

The Sunday Market
Finally after over two months in my parents' hood, we found another cafe other than Artease within walking distance! The Sunday Market is just 5 mins walk away!
It has an excellent range of food and desserts! Also, a range of ice cream flavours which were not the boring norm.

Movie Treats
Feeling really happening on a Sunday night, we went on a movie date at 9:30pm! Which never happen even pre-baby, because its suppose to be a mourn-for-monday night. We went to catch MI at Nex, which was a really good show!
I was telling hubs we should watch more 9pm shows now, since we don't have to leave Emma overnight anywhere, and still get to watch a movie at a decent timing.
I managed to get tickets for a premium event this Sunday! (Albeit its the 4th row from the screen) Sounds fun with games and all, hope its good though.

Weekends are Sweets
Happiest when its weekend!
Woke up bright and early like 7am on Saturday because I had to do my post surgery check up.
She attended her favourite Yamaha.
Our plans was to only let Emma attend one class so that we can spend more time. When she stopped Shichida, we started her on Yamada cause she really love music. Next year she will start swimming class cause I feel safer with her knowing how to swim, I think its a survival skill. I would want her to stop Yamaha, but now that she's enjoying it, we're not sure whether she'll agree to it though.
We had many scooting session.
And she's really zooming through the park now!
We attended a celebration at our new place and surprisingly it was very very well organised! With different game stalls which Emma played a game, bouncy castle, buffet, cake, cupcakes etc! Now we wonder how often they organise this!
We are seeing light at the end of the tunnel for our house! Its going to be done!! Woppiessss.

Happy 50!
Singapore's birthday's over. So is the long weekend which felt very much like chinese new year without steamboat.
Yesterday I was sorting through the weekend photos and putting it diligently onto our 2015 photobook, this long weekend looks quite fruitful for us!
To show how little friends we have, out of the 4 days, we actually met up with the same family for 3 days, and we spent almost 3 full days with them. It was 3 happy days though!
We took a boat ride down Singapore River which was surprisingly worth it for a whole $3! The kids had fun especially!
Had some happy meetup at FFL cafe!
Had a swim party with the kids outnumbering the adults at our not ready new place.
Happy 50!
