Bags itch...

The time of the year.. when my heart itch for a new bag. This time round, I've decided I need one that can sling across my body, which gets very useful when I carry Emma. It came kinda natural, that I was attracted to the Balenciaga.

Or the Mulberry Alexa, which I considered once last year, and when we went Greece some years back.

Both of which I do not have any colour preference.

Should I or should I not?

Emma Vs Daddy

Finally Emma is not crying and trying to grab the phone when we facetime. That is after a week. She's not always sad, shes alright when she doesnt see me. But when she does, she tries to grab the screen and cries. Now, she probably have gotten used to it (hopefully fingers cross).

I'll be back soon anyways! And we've received our magnets!! Hubs says its very pretty!! I think so too. Looking from whatever I can see.

In the meanwhile, hubs is doing a fantastic job taking care of Emma!! He brings her home every night, cuddle her to sleep, wake up when she does. And spend the long weekend with her alone! He even brought her out to get her car seat!

All by himself!!

Today he's bringing her for her PD routine checkup and jab.

Happy 6 mths~

Emma turned 6 mths yesterday!


Shes at a very cute stage now, very interactive and have hit a several milestones. Next and coming I suppose would be to stand.


We dont let her stand for long now, cause her legs aren't quite ready, but she can do so with support for a while.


As expected, shes outgrowing her baby room, which is noting much to begin with. We're now gona do a proper cupboard for her, cause her clothes are overflowing the current ikea one. And next up is to find a nice pretty bed for her when she outgrows her cot!

Emma has teeth!!

Emma's turning 6 months old tomorrow, and we just spotted 2 pearly whites!


We're soo gona miss her gummy smile which i totally adore!!

Shy

I love how shy emma is in her own way. Whenever a stranger tries to play or talk to her, she would 'dig' her entire face into my chest in a very cute shy manner.

Mornings

Every morning if emma's awake with us, she would be on her high chair with me waitin for me to finish my make up.

Would this influence her life? Watching me draw my face so often.

Restaurant week!

This year restaurant week we went 2 places, Boathouse for friday dinner and Picotin for Saturday lunch. Boathouse was really good!! But we dint take any photos.. Because.. We just dint.

Picotin was really worth it, we were super full after that. And we'll definately be back to try their breakfast! Super baby friendly as well, which we now all love dont we?

Over the weekend i have a one off discount, i had to make use of it, but i really dont have anything to buy. So we decided to upgrade emma's pillow. Pillow talk.


We started off this brand from their bolster range. Emma dint quite get used to the other brands of bolster we got her when we were trying to introduce the bolster concept to her. Then we got this, and she cant nap without it at my mum's. Now, we've decided to change her pillow as well. Its super duper comfy unlike those from the baby range (better than babysafe!!). Now we jus got a slight problem. I dint get the cover from the same range because its freaking expensive, it costs more than the pillow. Now we're pillow caseless, cause that size is a weird size. So, its now, sleeping on the table, instead of her bed.

Early morning thoughts

First lesson

She left for her first class all energetic after a long nap

She left the class all tired out and once we got into the car

I think maybe now shes havin a stressful dream.. coz shes frowning hard napping

Holiday 2013!

Jus put emma down for her morning nap, till she wakes up later for her first class at Shichida (how to use your left brain right brain thing). We've kinda decided this is probably gona be her only enrichment class, so the rest of the precious weekend will be spent with us and enjoying the rest of her childhood.

Other mini plans that we've made last week. We have decided not to travel anywhere in December though I will be clearing a 3 week leave (this happen when you go on maternity leave, loads of annual leave to clear). We'll just stay at home, or rather in Sg. My 2 weeks leave in April has been approved, so next is to book for air tickets to Perth!


Our first overseas trip with emmilicious. Then, also, we've decided that we'll be going New York nex year September as well!!


Thats why no travel plans for December, cause we dint wana fork out the holiday season prices, and we dint wana go anywhere cold. So we've brought forward our NY trip!

Several miscellanous updates of the week, cake making, macarons making, anniversary lunch etc

Last week was also Happy Wedding Anniversary day!!


We went Salt & Grill for lunch, which wasn't that fantastic for the price


Since emmilicious can sit on her own, its SLIGHTLY easier. When she cant sit on her own, we cant leave her on her own for over 5 seconds. Shes that an attention seeker. Now that she can, we can leave her with some miscellaneous stuff like a box of wet wipes while we go do other stuff. Or on the cot mobile and she'll try to grab it.


Or we can leave her on the bed to be with elmo


But of cause the best part is the high chairs
