Hilton Hawaiian Village, the best hotel we've ever stayed so far. We've never been to club med, but I presume it would be like that, jus that here you've gota pay for what you want.
Its like their own little village inside. I think this is why they call itself a Village and not a Hotel.
With their own shopping areas, own LVs, own restaurants, own ABC stores. ABC stores are a big thing there, tourists actually requests to stay near ABC stores.
They've got their own beaches. Its empty, cause its erm.. 5am? Hubs wanted to take a picture of sunrise. And noticed how smooth the beaches are, cause there are actually people/machines leveling the beaches every morning! Its a totally different scene at 5pm.
They've got their own lagoon pools..
And many swimming pools.. I've tried their slides.. not very exciting though. The good thing about having it all in the hotel, we don't have to bring our own towels. We were given towel cards each and we can get fresh towel in most areas. How convenient!
They've got their own port, thats where we board the ship to the submarine out in the deeper waters.
They've got a mini bird family there, some African penguins.
And others miscellaneous hanging around
A convenient Starbucks before we head for the beach
There were a few towers around, of cause, such hotel of such facilities comes with a price, and we had to stay the cheapest.
But we got upgraded!! We had the tower that was right smack next to the beach!!! Which was good, cause we dont have to be wet and walk through a long way to get to our room.. (the original tower I booked for was at some ulu end of the village next to a public road)
The room was fantastic as well.
This was one of the best part of the trip I guess.
Part of the hotel, taken when we were on our way out to the submarine.
Best hotel so far ever!
