happy shopping day!!

very tiring!!! tis am we woke up at 7am, left the hse at 730 for appointment to collect my passport. afterwhich we went to have bf! we went to prive at keppel bay and ordered 2 big bf!!


yes, we ordered the same ting. haha. but not as nice as the one in tanglin tat we had.


then we went shopping after that.. which is since 10am to 3pm!!! yes i almost died. so tired.. started from 313, there was zara sale, so we combed a few zaras, and also shun bian shop for baby stuff since there was some sale going on. went 313, taka, paragon, centrepoint then liat towers again for zara.

at the end, we got 20% discount for a multipurpose blanket that can be used as swaddle!!


yes, im happy. haha 20% discount!!!

Orrhh Jiannn!!

I feel like eating Orhhh Jiannnn at 8:45 pm now. So while evil josephine and good josephine were having a war jus now whether to summon hubby to buy. Hubs gave the best reason y i shld eat it.

Cause orh jian only oily. The oil only clot ur heart and give u higher chance of heart attack. Its not that fattening one. Its oni eggs and some flour.

So final conclusion from wifey: 'ok, please go buy!!!'

So now im waiting for my orh jian to arrive!!

irritated at wk 23

its been some time since ive been irritated by ppl around me who's been trying to convince me what i shld do for my pregnancy or baby. the topic arises again, its not the first time the same person is trying to convince me why i should not buy a baby cot and shld jus let emma sleep on matteress.

backtract 19th wk!

last month, at my 19th wk (i'm at my 23rd wk gg to 24th now), i happen to attend my collegue's wedding luncheon. hence taking this chance. hubs took my passport size foto for me. i had to change it, its expiring in august 2012. how weird that i put on falsies.. but they're quite apparently not visible. need to start looking for thicker ones..and anyway my passport is ready!! nex wk go n collect! then we're all ready to buy our hawaii air tix!

and since i'm in pretty clothes. its one of my fav dress i got for occassions during maternity. but i can still wear it after emma is out! because its from forever new, an aussie brand, so their cutting is bigger. its a non-maternity range. its a small size, jus that the design itself is meant to be waistless. so very suitable for maternity~i wore it last wk. i doubt i can fit into it nex month. its getting tight in the tummy area. and its not stretchable. so.. cross fingers and we'll see whether i can still fit during chinese new yr.

and hubs took a picture with me with his totally non matching home clothes, and his standing against gravity hair. hes oni the ah mat for the day, so no need wear so nice aso.today is gona be rest day for us. we've got nowhere to go. and after the quite busy wkend, and foreseeing a busy wk coming ahead at work. i'm not too keen to go out as well.

some 'presents' for thoughts. when you're giving xmas presents to kids, always give toys. they gain no joy from clothes, be it pretty or branded. giving clothes is for their mum who will be happy. they're kids. always stick to toys.

Shows shows more shows~

Tis wk has been very fruitful!!! Thursday we went to watch Wicked the musical at MBS! time flies, we bought the early bird tix (with discount of cause) in August during the first day of ticketing, so fast its December already! The show was good, except that MBS seating is not tat good. The leg space is worse than GV and the railing in front of us cut then screen into two.
On friday, we did our first 'first'. It was the first time we reach cineleisure at 3.25pm, and we bought tickets for MI 4 at 3.30! For once, the popcorn lasted thru the opening of the show. The show was bett than i expected too!
Later we're watching sherlocks holmes!! Weeeeeee~~~~~~ hope it'll be as nice as part 1!
Hopefully tml we can watch this!!

we had our routine gynae checkup tis am at gleneagles. baby weigh bout 550 grams, everytings normal. gynae explained the detailed scan report that we did yesterday as well.

afterwhich we went for bf at tanglin mall!! a cafe that reminds me slightly of this cafe we visited in athens, thou hubs doesnt tink so. i had a italian breakfast with mocha

it was reallly yummilicious!!!! so we tabao-ed their pastry home too.

im not a huge fan of longchamp. but i quite like it coz its not too ex, light weight, durable and versatile. its easy when i go on overseas work trip, i'll bring 2 colours along so tat i can have a change. i oni have 2 anyway, black and red. ive always like the eiffel tower paris edition and FINALLY!!

this is very much wat i eat everyday for 3 yrs when im in currie hall. so its pretty nostalgic eating it now. the oni diff is now im drinking meiji low fat milk instead of pura full cream. i wld very much prefer full cream, drinkin low fat milk is like drinking milk while having a flu, quite tasteless.

apart from tat, i feel quite healthy!

prenatal class!

today we were taught how to wrap a swaddle and fold cloth diapers and how to wrap it around the baby. we had to do it ourselves and show it to the teacher before we can leave. we got a 'very good!!' remark for our swaddle wrap!! (many of others have had to get their wrap corrected)

and because i used to fold the cloth napkins for my bro, so i kinda noe how to fold them, so i taught 2 other couples how to fold them.

wk 22

5.5 mths into my pregnancy! i can no longer fit into my yoga pants, i kinda tot they were elastic enuff to last me thru my entire pregnancy, but i was wrong. so last wk went to get maternity pants that could REALLY last me till i deliver.


they better!! cause they're maternity pants!! and not cheap can. at 22 wks:


the top is from cotton on. 9 bucks nia!! so i got 2. long enuff to cover my protruding emma, and soft and stretchable enuff. coz i dont really believe in maternity clothes, i kinda find them a waste of $$. so i jus got some basic tees of M and L size from cotton on for less than 10 bucks each.

i tink i still has some waist.. left...


nex wk will be my gynae visit, hopefully he'll be ok w my weight gain. cause i really put effort into eating not-so-nice snack.. like muslie bars... 1 more wk to go!!!

Another shuffling weekend

This was suppose to be a relaxing and free wkend!!! Sunday was suppose to be free so we could catch a movie. But i jus learnt yesterday tat i had to attend a wedding luncheon, so the movie is cancelled. I had so much urge to skip yoga later, so tat i cld go town for a quick shop. I called the yoga school, and realise the next 2 sats there'll be no yoga coz its the holidays eve. So means if i skip today, it'll be 3 wks of no yoga. So, i shall not be lazy, i needed my exercise. One other reason i wanted to skip it, cause yest nite i wasnt feeling too well. All night my heart was racing, beating so rapidly that it made me uncomfortable, at times difficult to breathe. After googling, its suppose to be normal, coz the body is overworked. After i woke up, i felt fine again.

So conclusion, i'm gg for my yoga at 10:15am, after which need to rush thru lunch and bath as usual and move on to our prenatal class. Hopefully after dinner, we'll be able to squeeze in a shopping trip.

Tomorrow need to attend a wedding luncheon, then rush off to my facial at 4pm. By the time finish facial will be dinner and sunday's almost gone.

SO BUSYYY!!!!!

i wana see how she looks like.

i wana see whether how small can her eyes be, combining me n hubs puny eyes. im not a believer tat goldfish eyes makes a beauty. i quite like small eyes with single eyelids.

i wana see how high emma's forehead can be. yes again combining hubs and mine high forehead. ok theres no pros to this. i jus hope she doesnt look like some ancient manchu guy with too high a forehead..

i wana see how much hair emma has!! we both have quite thick manes.

i wana see whether emma has q hair. not excited bout tis. i jus pray hair emma doesnt get my q-hair genes and has straight hair. if not, she jus has to spend more $$ like me to go on rebonding. its not tat bad.

aarhhh!! i cant wait to see her!!!! tat aside, pls dont come out so early.. jus come out on time.. =)

i was reading an article by Neil Humphreys, i kinda like his article. Very singaporean and real. this is about how strangers not to mention friends, can have much opinions about your children. extracts:

This article pretty much sums up the frustrations i have sometimes when it comes to having a kid. Everyone has an opinion. About my kid. From the things i buy, when i choose to buy, sometimes i even was made to justify why i buy.

how irritating can this get. i was told, it gets worse after the kid comes out.

what i hate about pregnancy

i wet myself on a daily basis. its damn irritating. im already bringing around spare change of panty, tink by the time i reach my 3rd trim, i need to carry spare pants/dress around.

Hawaii~~~

Tis wkend had been busy.

Prenatal class was alright. Tis wk was bout pain relief and aso bio class, explaining the bio of women's body with the baby inside. Not v interesting.

Most of the other time i was busy researching for our hawaii trip. Initially we had plan on visiting an island, like wat we did for greece. But after reading much reviews and other itineraries, seems like there mite not be enough time or worth it for another island. So we might jus stay put in honolulu and spend time in oahu, rather than touch and go at each place. Afterall the activities in the other islands can be done in oahu, all e water activities and volcano sighting.

I can't wait to go!! But again, i hope june dont come so fast. Coz i need to go thru the process of getting emma out of me first, which i kinda dread.

sometime ago, i bought a groupon voucher, paid $30 but was worth $60 for a photo album. its by a sg company call beanstalk. we did a series for all our bangkok trips, over the years, we've been there 3 or 4 or 5 times i guess.


some feedback i have for e book. mm, tis is prob e first and last time we'll use this. their software wasnt very user friendly, they dint had much choices to choose for. and a tat expensive if it wasnt for the groupon voucher.

we still prefer our blurbs. so yes, back to blurb.


the bkk will add on to our greece, california, perths, japan trips. now im kinda considering whether to jus redo e rest of the albums to blurb. our taiwan and melbourne trip is in e old sch version.. washed and printed kind.

tiring and big project. let me tink about it.

this wkend wun be so hectic. its jus yoga and prenatal class on sat. afterwhich i would have some quiet time coz hubs is gg to a wedding dinner which im not gg, dowana bore myself there. i rather stay home n watch teebee.

sun im meeting some frens, and gg for suntec baby fair!

wat im really looking fwd is nex wk!! we're gg to johor premium outlet!! after our US trip in march where we visited bout 10 outlets, i really miss the outlets.. hopefully it doesnt disappoint me, thou i tink it will. haha go n look see look see.

baby seat

since we got a quinny, we need to get a baby seat for the quinny which also used as a car seat.

since 2012 is coming up, stores are clearing 2010 and 2011 stock! the difference between them, are jus colour range, the specs are still the same. and since 2010 is much cheaper than 2011 range, we bought the 2010 range at a real good deal!!

it was a colour that we liked too!! 2010 range was more towards the pastal colours, 2011 range has more strong colours. we got the pastal pink + grey.

the z monster

one of the synptoms of pregnancy if fatigue. i was told by gynae that the only solution is to sleep. the body is working for two now, heart is beating for two, but theres the same old one body working for two.

i tot it was gone after the first trimester. as i step into the 2nd trim a few wks ago, tings seems to get better. i can sleep at 10pm instead of the usual 8.30pm.

but i tink the zzz monster is back. im fighting it on a daily basis now.

i need to go into hibernation mode.
