weekend

so i read somewhere, u noe why u shld wear such giant shades?


cause it protects the area around your eyes from the sun. with the thinner skin around tat area, protecting against the sun will prevent wrinkles from coming anytime soon.

tis wkend was a great stay at home saturday and a movie sunday. we did noting much on sat, finished a blurb for our perth trip last yr, just in time to be published with the one we've done for our tea ceremony in 2009. yes, we totally forget about tat till now.

What made me smile this week

Monday on the way to work, while we were still downstairs hubs says tat his pants are too tight, and say those were not his pants.

He went up and change to his pants. (because our laundry are done at our parents place, the pants can be his dad, his bro's or my bros')

Then he changed and check the old one that was changed out.

Its his pants.

our little project is 70% done. at least e more difficult part of drilling and knocking is done.


the next ting is to buy mahjong paper, whiten the borders, some r turning yellow alreadi. bring the fotos to hong lim n wash. then we're done with tis part of the project!


next would be to buy a table with jus nice height and put at the bottom.

Holiday eves run

we had an evening run today at the gym after work at 7:30pm. In time for me to catch the last 30 min of little nyona at suria. But im not sure whether the run is worth it. Cnsidering by the time im done bathing and ready for dinner. Its 9pm.

New ipad 2

Im blogging from my new ipad 2. Yes, new one.

Theres someting wrong with the home button of the old one. Went online and search, its a hardware prob. So finally ipad 2 arrives in sg, the first wk we brought it to apple hq. And *waula*! They replace a brand new one!!!

Fyi: hubs say apple hq is quite lok. Dont imagine it to be wat u see on tv.

The hard truth

the gym is locked. we dint realise its a public holiday today, till the 'access denied' appeared. we made do with the running track. the last time i ran on such ting was 10 yrs ago.


i WAS a not bad running. at least i can get the max points for e physical fitness running portion.

Wisdom tooth

I went to pluck out my wisdom tooth. For that moment of plucking which was damn painful, i was tinking y human cant be born toothless, then we'll all wear dentures. IT WAS DAMM PAINFUL. But bearable, was over in 5 min. N i only got 1 day mc... Sad.. I went online n see...

'If you have having an extraction done, you will only need one day's rest at home. The most is two days.

If you are having them removed under minor surgery, then you need to rest for at least five days.

For those who have them removed under general anaesthsia eight days of rest will be given commonly.'

Long wkend!!!

Yesterday, joined some collegue to watch macbeth.. It was bad.. Quite bad.. Borin i thought it was. shakespear language it was in, understand i totally do not. Thou shall not watch this agin. having read tis during my literature days does not help. They shld have a subtitle screen in simple english. Adrian pang was in it thou. Luckily it was free. The experience watching at fort canning was great as well.


Then we went for late nite for Fast And Furious 5!!! Tis show saved my night, it was FANTASTIC!!! its one of sequels which i tot every single one is jus as nice and exciting!!!


Ending off our long wkend, we're catching THOR.


Afterwhich we'll hit the gym!! Or ecp if it doesnt rain. Hubs is still sleeping. Yesterday we had a longer workout than usual. And he keep complaining of body ache, haha

The royal wedding

The fairytale wedding. I did watch some parts of it on tv. I tot it was quite nice, not the front part where they shown the reception, i tot ttat was a tat too dragging.


Overall i tot was great and interesting, its like you've invited the entire world to wed along with you..


Thou i much prefer her evening gown asq compared to the one she walked down the alise.


And it was such a mega big hat party!!! Which i tot was nice. We shld have it here in sg. But some really came with weird ones..


Victoria n david beckhams were there too. And so was mr bean. I wonder how related they r to the couples.


I like the part after the wedding where channel 5 showed, life of a princess. Whrer they were anaysing which summer castle they will take, which palace they will live in. And how wealthy the queen is. Its kinda interesting to know all these facts i tot.

And it was said. Princess diana gave birth to 'A heir and a spare'. I womdered how prince harry felt when he hears of this. Its quite sad.. To be called a spare i tot..

Elections

Its quite boring on the news now. Everythings bout elections. Are ppl jus joining in the fun of critising pap? Or do they sincerly tink tat the opposition are really good? (this opposition party came up with the idea of a rental program for newly wed couples who cant afford housing. Which i totally do not agree with.) can you imagine, one day, a warehouse assistant becoming one of the country's minister? I'm not trying to be sacastic, but lets face the reality, eduction has a strong part to play, especially when you want to be involved in deciding a country's future.

2 days ago, we went on a kukup trip with a bunch of aunties. On the dining table, elections was one of the topic again. All of them, complaining and complaining about pap. A lot of it, i felt they do not understand why things were done this way, and only looking at the surface of it. Anyway, not going into details. After much complains about pap, they dint sing much about oppisition, jus tat were glad opposition is there to go against pap. At the end of it, they summarised, 'anyway we can't do without pap.'

It truely voice down to, so many ppl appears to support opposition, (or are they jus happy to go against pap). How many will genuinly vote for the opposition?
