The Ritual

every friday, aka Hassle Day. its a ritual. most fridays we wld go out.. shopping or wat.. but as age is getting up, we normally reach home by 10pm. jus now we went holland V for dinner. anyway. digressed.

lets start with the ritual. i've gotta clean this every friday. i used 2 pieces every week. the purple one is from anna sui, its soft, so i like. the white one comes free with chanel make up cake.
i've gotta washed these as well. one for blusher, 2 for the eyes.

when i meant clean and wash. i meant using make up remover and facial wash. majiam removing make up.

i've gotta do mask too. this, to remove impurities. THIS IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED~~!! DAMN GOOD! can see the dirt if you remove the mask. the one on the left is to open the pores and soften the impurities. then u put on the right one to remove it.

then i proceed to this after the above.

its finally starting!

my hse is finally going to start renovation!!!! wohoo!! ok, hope can settle with contractor beng soon, so we can finally get tings started!!!

neverfull.. never can full..

The Cake Story

i got a sudden urge to eat cake.. my beloved hubby went out to get for me leow~!! wohoo!! cake coming is on its way!!

i skipped japanese class this morning. hais. i struggled. to go. or not to go. finally. i din't, its an illness- laziness. incurable. hais.. noting much i can do bout it.

we went marina and watched this:

it was good. but compared to death note 1 and 2, those are better. this is kinda sad show cause L is dying. but overall, its good.


then it was 3pm, very tired, came back and slept till 7pm, was dinner. after dinner we went furniture mall. for the last round before we get anything at the Furniture Fair if any.

the bed that we've been eyeing since last yr is going on promotion, so the plan is now: go furniture fair, unless its someting we REALLY REALLY LOVE, if not, we'll head down furniture mall and put down the deposit for the bed. the sales man aso not very honest, li-ren asked how long is the design, and he said a couple of months. bluff lor.. we saw for it for longer than that, how can it be that recent!


anyway. testing only. no objective. althou we can now conclude he's not very honest.

Hubby kee is downstairs cooking noodles. i'm on diet. but i'm hungry at the same time. the check up yesterday, the weighing machine in the clinic says 46.2kg. i'm happy with what the number is showing me, but i would be happier with 45kg. the diet will re-start, again.

Beginning tomorrow. i'll eat lesser.

(As part of our save-money-diet, we're gg exercising, swimming nex weekend)--- hopefully... if i don't sleep.... or last minute decides to shop..

busy busy day..

Early morning, we went Gleneagles Medical Centre for my cervical cancer vaccine. if nex time i have a daughter, i'll need to aim to get PR in australia before she turns 9. cause this vaccine is apparently free in australia. its not cheap okieee. i did pap smear as well, and it costs me 340. so sads. i can prob buy erm.. my puny LV bag. and i need to go back for 2 more jabs. which gonna cost me another 400 bucks. and its VERYYYY painful. -__-

then we went Burberry warehouse sale at henderson park. the queue was crazy. and the sale was so not worth it. they had a seperate 'warehouse' for the celebraties apprently, and i saw fiona xie and felicia chin inside. comfortable in their choosing. while everyone was outside with the little selections. i bet there're less than 10 bags outside for the public. very sads. really noting one. not gonna go again.

then we went anchorpoint. which, confirmed, has noting even after all the advertising. its only 1 floor of real shoping. then went nex door to queenstown shopping complex for swimming equipment. apparently, its not cheaper there, the swimsuits are still above 60, so we decide to head back taka with more choices.

BUTTT, we had free movie tickets, so we went tampines mall to buy movie Jumper tix for tonight, and Arena is having 50% sale!! and i got my stuff!!
not very nice lah... but who cares.. its still a decent good catch. and most importantly, its only 30 bucks!
and we watched Jumper with the free tix..
ok. someting wrong with the net. it only managed to save until this part with the blogspot autosave. the rest of my post is gone. and i dont feel like typing again. overall. good plot, very different from other shows. the ends. hais. my post is gone.. so sads..

TOKYO - LOVELORN staff at a Japanese marketing company can take paid time off after a bad break-up with a partner, with more 'heartache leave' on offer as they get older.

Tokyo-based Hime & Company, which also gives staff paid time off to hit the shops during sales season, says heartache leave allows staff to cry themselves out and return to work refreshed.
'Not everyone needs to take maternity leave but with heartbreak, everyone needs time off, just like when you get sick,' CEO Miki Hiradate, whose company of six women markets cosmetics and other goods targeted for women, told Reuters by telephone.

Staff aged 24 years or younger can take one day off per year, while those between 25 and 29 can take two days off and those older can take three days off, the company said.
'Women in their 20s can find their next love quickly, but it's tougher for women in their 30s, and their break-ups tend to be more serious,' Mr Hiradate said.

Hime & Company staff can also take two mornings off twice a year as 'sales shopping leave', so they can race to stores to hunt for bargains.
'Before, women could take half-days off to go to sales, but you'd have to hide your shopping bags in lockers by the train station,' Mr Hiradate said.

'But with paid leave, we don't have to feel guilty about bringing our shopping bags to work, and we can enjoy the best part about sales shopping - talking about our purchases afterwards.' -- REUTERS

to play the 'L' game... zhou chongqing answered my call!! the question was how many days did L left, and i said 20, but i tink he heard 23, hais. and he said wrong. so sads.. i keep repeating 20, and he replied, 23. argssssss

this morning we had a knowledgable talk for Dress to Impress. very interesting manss.. do u noe that guys and ger's button are always faced different side? one's flap is towards the left and one is towards the right. the reason being long ago, women are dressed by maids, so its easier for them to button. and men carried swords, so its easier for men to pull out their swords without tangling into the button flaps.

i wanted to go swimming over the weekend. i really need a work out u noe. but i've got no proper 1 piece swimsuit. i only got 2 bikinis, which i don't tink its very suitable for singapore's public pool, and i don't stay in a condo. jus now, we were at taka. i REALLY TRIEEEEDD to buy a piece of swimsuit. but why are they so expensiveeeee~!!!!! arhhhhhh. and i end up with none again.

last day of holiday...

a surprise is not a surprise on vday. so i did it yesterday!

vday present from wife to hubby- proudly sponsored by hubby's proposal purchase. he bought the huge man-size 'me to you' bear during our proposal, and kalm sent us a 10 bucks voucher. which i secretly used to buy our vday present. hahahahaha smart rite.

i was up till 3am (with hubby kee sitting beside as advisor)..and this game costs only 10 bucks.. its damn fun, i played again today. my fingers is almost dead. its very addictive, its kinda like sims, go around the cities, buying shops, recruiting ppl, going another place to stock up inventory, buy equipment and make food and sell them. you can adjusts your profit margin, built up reputation, dress ur stuff in bikinis.. etc..

chinese new yr sequel

on cny eve, we went to watch this.. seriously, being a jay chou's fan. i tink, unless u like jay.. there's noting much to watch about this movie. almost plot-less. and prob 90% scenes on him being cute and cool. noting much except to see him and more of him.. don't expect this to be like 'Secret'.
then yesterday night, we went for this. read about all the lousy critics, so sorta went there with no expectations.. but i really love the song~! this show is alright.. but yeah.. don't expect it to be like Just Follow Law. i tink mark lee is the only funni element in the show. if not, the show is almost dead..
before that we went for more photo taking!! thats the point of having a small camera.. to bring around.. this T2 is much much lighter than my ixus. i can hang around my neck without feeling the gravity pull..


ok. diet officially starts today... not much of snacking during cny. however, i haven't drank prob even 1 glass of plain water since new yr's eve.. but had like countless cans of sugared drinks..

i'm gg to li-ren's cousin's baby shower later. don't feel like gg.. cause i'll be very bored. yesterday, while the guys were gambling, the girls were all sitting at the sofa and sleeping/watching tv. lucky i was able to hide in the room and do my stuff.. but nex yr will be me lying on the sofa and sleeping.

its the 2nd day of chinese new year. and its still freaking hot~~!!! we went sentosa twice, yesterday on chu 1, we bought the tix in, but there was a jam, and also, my 1st younger brother is bringing his gf home for the 1st time, so i had to go back on last min notice, to kpo a bit. and we left.
we went back again this morning. and admission was free~~!! why chu 1 must pay and today free??!!?? lucky li-ren can claim from company, if not maybe i'll complain.
for once, i'm REALLY REALLY glad that our wedding photoshoot is gona be during winter. the pictures don't look hot.. but we were perspiring like pigs..
i was wearing short skirt, only 1 hour into it, i was crazily sticky. can't believe if i were in gown... and i came back with a headache. i had to stay in air con room.
it reminds me... why we only visited sentosa twice in 5 years... i'm not goign back there again... at least in the nex 1 yr.. until i forget today

which reminds me.. we're having a cheap vday this yr again. we initially wanted intercontinental buffet, which i've already prepared the booking form..until we decided that we shld do it cheap. and we booked for swensens. haha. 2nd yr at swensens again.. and we won a pair of movie tix too~~ yippiessss. tink we saved about 200 bucks. the intercontinental one was about 230 bucks.

where time tells...

Some ppl believe that love is everyting.. bread is love, love is bread. i don't really believe in that. i believe there're many other tings apart from love alone to sustain a relationship.. time. time tells a lot of tings.

over the first year, i realise my bf still likes the past june. so we broke up. and ironically, the tv is showing this scene, from the andy lau show-tong meng qi yuan, where andy lau realise, his mum is the mistress whom his dad has been keeping a secret from him all along. andy lau tot his stepmum was the mistress who broke up his family.

Over the second year, my bf realise that i've never liked any of the vday, birthdays, anniversary presents that he bought me. so, from then on, he has never surprise me with any presents without first letting me know. i'm really good with that arrangement till now. cause he stills trys to get rubbish for me till now!!

2005

over the third year, we finish our long distance of 1 yr, and realise we can actually stay apart.. and the trust over each other's life without physically being around each other all the time. Also, after the perth's surprise trip, he aso noe that i'm not into surprises.

did i get the years mixed up. hms... dunno. nvm. more or less there.. i tink the 1st and 2nd yr we're still in uwa, our 3rd yr, i started working. tink so..

anyway, over the fourth year,i realise nobody else except li-ren can take my pattern. so better faster own him first.

2006:

over the fifth year, and still in the fifth year.. so far so good. has been a irritating husband, as usual, he was a irritating bf last time. oh oh, he realised i can't have no flowers for my birthday, i'll be very mad. and he aso realise i can't have belated birthday presents.
also, we're no longer the young couple, so we realise we can't have long distance relationship for us like last time..

2007:
2008 is our 5th and into 6th year.. lets see wat happens in the 6th year..

my company gave vday present today!!! famous amous biscuits!!! my fav no nuts biscuits~!!!
lao gong jus now was telling me, that kang xi lai le commented that singaporean's english is worse than taiwan. How can that beee!!!!!!! i toked to a taiwanese guy EVERYDAYYYYY!! his pronounciation is like -__-

and i watch the taiwanese variety show, unless the taiwanese studied overseas, they can't even speak english as good as li-ren's 4 yr old niece!! and english is our first language!! how singlish be worse than taiwanese standard in anyway! i got a life example in office.

i bought someting of price 30 bucks that was bought on impulse. hais. its hidden away leow..

we went to watch 27 dresses today, at the new AMK Hub's Cathay. Its good, not as crowded. but the toilet totally sucks. it stinks like stinko toilet.

shopping was fruitful today too! somehow attracted to white now. i got a white jacket from zara. jackets and cardigans are a huge part in my everyday dressing. i wear either of them almost everyday. cause most of my clothes are either spaggattis, or sleeveless.. or tings that can't be worn alone at work.
i'm in my nighties... that green tingy. anyway. it looked great. had to buy it before it runs out of size. it sort of has. zara has a lousy collection of XS, it always runs out, even with my weekly visits. this is not a new piece. i dint get the display off taka, cause it really look like many ppl has worned it. but there're 2 displays at Liat, and they looked real new and nice, so i got it.
i like the buckles with the pin-ny ting..
