weighing scale

some days ago i stood up on the new digital scale that we've bought. it says 45. i kinda got surprised. i declared it spoilt. then i got li-ren to try it. and he says he weigh the same. still, i declared it spoilt.

yesterday i tried it again. it says 45 too. i tink its really spoilt. 45 has always been wat i wanted. but it's been 46-ish 47. never 45.

i need to get another weighing scale. those manual one, where there's a dial spinning. to ascertain that my new digital weighing scale is officially spoilt.

yeah. its difficult being my weighing scale. i'll tink its spoilt when it shows wat i want.

if it doesn't show wat i like, i'll tink its spoilt too.

i went isetan sale this morning.. the queue was crazy.. it went 1 round the macdonalds, u noe the macs outside scotts is not small lor, and went all the way to thai embassy. but we still managed to get it anyways. and li-ren got a pair of levis for 60bucks!!

can't decide where to go.. and since its free parking at the multi storey, mite as well jus stay home. prob later gg robinsons since there's a sale. and tml's isetan private sale. so we'll be chiong-ing for sales!

we'll prob spend a lot of time home now.. since its the best place to be at.. for the time being. till i'm sick of it.

1) i hope to be happy!! i was for most of 2008, apart from the time with Simber, the rest of the times are great. keep that going.

8) no tao hua for both of us for the year.

9) zara can bring in more of XS!!!! they always run out of that size. irritating.

10) pass both my semester of CPA.

11) ppl can gimme more ang bao money for my tea ceremony on the 3rd.

12) for the time being.. thats it.. lastly, all of the above to come true!!

it is TONIGHT!

i was quick this morning with usual routine, so that i could pack a little. my flight's at midnight, so we're leaving for airport at 9:30pm. which means it would be a quick dinner expecting work to end late as usual.. which leaves little or no time for packing. then after walking around, i realise so much can't be packed, coz i need them for work, and tonight's flight attire.

this time round, i'm not auntie-ish anymore. the previous round, i kop so much loccitaine toiletries, coz i brought my own. this time, i only bring back a new bottle of moisturiser, n noting else from the loccitaine range. tot oni the moisturiser was good, the rest so-so oni.

i marked this as the worse biz trip i've been. i believe this wouldn't be the end, with all the collegues gone, i'm not expecting any more fun trips.. hence, THE WORSE HAS YET TO COME!

ok, i'm gg my own new home to stay till next week, when li-ren comes back from his reservist. he's been staying there over weekends as well.. so. i've got internet, fridge, cable, the essentials, the oni bad: a 14-inch fat ass teevo.

miserable in china

ok. my winter wardrobe. Jacket from portsman that i havent got a chance to wear till now since i bought it from my melbourne trip.
on top of that jacket above, i'll wear this 3/4 overcoat for work. i'll add on a scarf, coz the winds kinda freezes my neck n send chills down. then i'm off for work!

i'll wear this for weekend, but i dont go out on weekends anyway. i wear on my trip to n fro airport, since its a short one. not really enuff for daily work, the 3/4 above works better. covers right down. both overcoats courtesy of thank-you-winter-allowance n zara.

boring life in beijing

Winter is giving me good hair day every single day.
I've changed from Chanel's 2 way cake to liquid, n it fits perfectly. Its good, coz i'm running out of 2 way cake, so now no need to buy so soon.
I can't tink of anyting else better to write.

The bad: i'm siaming mini meteorites everyday, coz my manager flicks his ear shit everywhere. its damn disgusting.

i tink i've seriously overpacked. i've never packed so much for a overseas trip before.

i've got quite a bit of new stuff for this trip.

3 pair of working pants- 2 from zara n 1 from mango. have to get new ones, cause i've got no single pair of pants, n i'm not interested in freezing my legs.
plus 600 bucks worth of winter allowance claim- 2 overcoats from zara!!!
its going to be horrible 2 weeks ahead.

the arty farty shelf that we've bought.
it was fixed up today, on the sleeping position. after it was done, we had a little problem. it was too heavy for us to lift it up. hence, now, its sleeping smack in the middle of the living room. have to get my brothers to come help lift it up.

ANYWAY. we mite jus dump it if it gets in the way and we can't find somewhere suitable to put. its kinda big... any takers?

yesterday, this idiot pissed me off at work. he hasn't done it quite a while, i've been VERY VERY tolerant with his rubbish already. lets name him Bastard 2 for easy reference, since 1 has been taken.

u noe we have a silly rule to block our leave 1 yr in advance, n coz mah mah passed away unexpectedly, and cos i last minute decided not to take my cpa for this sem, my 1 week study leave nex week, i'm taking 1 day only. And when i came out from boss office, Bastard 2 say, 'nex time dont do that. to block 1 week to take 1 day'.

damn pissed!!! coz that wasn't my initial intention. and i wanted to take 1 week to study my cpa. if only i can foresee 1 yr ago:

- mah mah will pass away this yr, i would have prepared sufficient leave
- i would be so busy with my house that i skipped 1 semester of my cpa

no wonder half my department left this yr - 7 to be exact.
