Its photographs of letters, figures or any combination of the two that Carmi is asking for this week. Click on the link to see what others have come up with on this one!
A Street sign in Gran Canaria, one of the Canary Islands. Much prettier than our usual bog standard ones!
A Bergen, Norway, manhole cover - very smart! And another, this time from Stavanger, Norway.
A very apt trading name! 78 degrees north is very Arctic!
Not too sure about this one!
But entirely sure about these signs. Difficulty was trying to decide which loaves to buy!

SPEED
Challenge for this week is SPEED. Quite hard to photograph, but we can but try! For lots of interesting photographic interpretations of Speed, go to Carmi who is here.
The wake from our Cruise Ship. Wonderful to watch, and gorgeous colours!
What would Scotland do without Macbraynes Ferries? They are everywhere between islands and the mainland. And they have a good turn of speed!
And that is all I can find this week. But do go to the link above - you will find some interesting, clever and funny shots!

STRAIGHT LINES
Carmi's Challenge this week is Straight lines. For the interpretations of others of this subject, just click on the link.
Sunset over the River Tagus in Lisbon, Portugal. It was spectacular!
Further round the Iberian Peninsular, we found this pedestrian square in Cadiz, Spain. The Spanish are experts at making their towns easy on the eye, and pleasant to stroll in. Well, the ones we went to, anyway!
Inside the Ship's Galley. Everything was absolutely spotless,I was pleased to see!
Back in this country - a pile of chairs
And lastly, rusty railings in our local Park. Can't see them being de-rusted and painted in the near, or distant, future!
Couldn't find any 'natural' straight lines, as Carmi found (see link above) I'm sure they are out there, but the wind is a trifle chilly!
