Now is storytime again.. Today I want to talk about another famous character in a famous cartoon - 倩女幽魂... But the story that I'm going to tell is not the pretty 小倩... But I'll be touching on the 千年老妖 - 姥姥... Not that I'm saying that she is a 千年老妖... The truth is that eveyone *you know who you are* are calling her that... Just that I managed to link her nick to this cartoon... Haha...
Let me give you a small introduction then... The rest gave her the nick: 姥姥... Bad right... I'm just following suit... Haha... Actually, she is a friendly soul... But the problem is that she talks very loudly!!! As I mentioned previously in my blog, she and Peter Pan are a clique!!! 好像夫唱妇随咯!!! They will 耍花枪in front of the rest which gives us the creeps!!! All our goose bumps will start to surface *though I'm a little 夸张*... As she is a buyer, she has to be on the phone quite often which often pisses me off cos she doesn't speak into the handset, SHE SHOUTS INTO IT!!!
And her favourite person in the office will be none other than Mr Eddy Tan!!! *A round of applause* Remember that we were treated by my boss? We took 姥姥's car to PS... When we were on our way, she suddenly said,"Eddy is like my son!!!" I was like *diaoz* Can see that she likes him alot... Cos he is the only person in the office that does her work... Eddy, 她很信任你喔... So you need to treat her nicer!!!
Since Peter Pan is the 大耳隆 of RMAs, then 姥姥 will be the 皇后 (Queen) of RMAs... Cos her Hitachi and god-knows-what suppliers keep on doing returns!!! 害得我们做到要死... Rush her RMAs for her beloved Peter Pan... And her RMAs are not easy to do loh... Cos she doesn't provide us with the template that most buyer provide... Her's is like, as what super Mega Sleepy Star describe as, 符... For 1 RMA, she will attached 1 STACK OF PAPERS... On which she will draw, scribble, write etc with all stationeries she can get hold off... Pens, Pencils, HIGHLIGHTERS (Yellow, Pink, Green)... And her cancellations will SCARE THE DAYLIGHT OUT OF YOU!!! It's so messy that I really don't know what to do loh... So I kindly have her favourite - Eddy - to do it!!!
Nevertheless, she is really a hardworking worker that all employers will want to employ... Cos she is really willing to devote her time in her work... She will work to like 2AM in morning.. 佩服佩服!!!

Erm... I'm now waiting for the BLODDY service centre to call me to give me an appointment for my laptop... 我的电脑又生病了... And this time it's more 严重.... OS IS NOT FOUND!!! What the CRAP!!! The entire laptop can't even boot up loh... 实在够衰!!! Come to think of it, I'm working for like less than 2 monhs and I've gone to the service centre like 5 times to repair my laptop... What is this... I'm a 常客there liao loh... SUCKS!
Oh.. Yesterday was an UNIQUE day... My team's buyers 都没来... Only left with the 2 temps - Jenny & I... Maybe they 像我们俩可以做buyer liao... *smirk smirk* But 我才不要嘞... Buyers here look as if they SOLD their life to the company... 她们都很卖命... Let me give you a few examples...
1. Sitting next to me 的 Vivian arh... I think she really go all the way loh... She everyday has to clear like 300+ the emails... 永远都clear不完的... She is so "hardworking" that she woke up at 2AM leh!!!! She woke up to clear emails or CONFRENCE with her clients who THREATEN to STOP THE SHIPMENT!!! Hahaha.. Then she kan qiong liao... I think she 茶饭不思loh...
2. Next will the one sitting in the other cubicle 的 Doreen... She is also another "恐怖分子"... Hahaha... She will also stay in office until god-knows-what-time loh, just to clear her work... 吓死人...
3. Then it will be LL liao... That one is the HEAD of all "恐怖分子"... Haha.. She will stay in office UNTIL 1 - 2 AM... I think her brain 有一点烧坏了... And she is proud of it by writing on her calender to "keep herself reminded" but in fact is for all the see "how HARDWORKING" she is... She will be my next target in blog bah.. *When I get hold of her photo... I keep asking Mega Sleep Star to help me get her photo.. He said that his camera lens will crack if used to shoot her loh...*
现在的女强人正是为了工作不要命!!! Hahaha
I think I better call helpdesk to ask about my laptop!!!

I went to work as usual this morning with, of course, the MONDAY BLUES... Went to meddle with the bloody laptop... It's pissing me off... It kept on hanging until I had to force shut down it twice... Then I went to install the NEWEST Window Media Player and Internet Explorer 7... Woohoo... New applications to work with... Cool....
And what came up next made the day... And at the same time, I should continue describing another "INTERESTING" personnel in my office... THE ONE that send shivers down your spin with his look, THE ONE that rules the PROCUREMENT TEAM... THE ONE.. who who... Can't think of anything liao... Aiya... Let me show a picture then...

So so... Guess it right... Our Mega Sleepy Star, as usual, gave this person a nick... "JAWS" is his... JAWS is the one: 一人之上, 几人之下... Cos we have small teams... So not like 大公司... So its 几人... Haha... JAWS has a straight face everytime he comes to work... Seldom see him smile... But I rather not see him smile... It gives me the CREEPS... Hahaha... His smile is a little distorted... Hahaha... Sorry to say that... But Mr Mega Sleepy Star also agrees with me... Maybe I should take a photo of him when he smiles... As I am KA KIA... I have no bussiness with him... 我做我的, 他做他的...
Today is quite a special day... 老板=Jacob 请吃饭喔... We went to PS 老北京... I think the meal cost like 1k, even if it were to be lesser... It will be on the high hundreds loh... 真的要谢谢老板... We had a 11-course meal loh... And I'm sitting with Eddy and the rest of them are gals... So Eddy and I had to help clear the food cos as usual 爱美是女人的天份... But the EDDY arh... Has SMALLER appetite than me loh… 好差劲… In the end I ate the most.. 好饱噢... The interesting thing is that in the mist of our lunch… We had lion dance performance & the 变脸 performance… Of course, with every lion dance performance, there is bound to be 4D given… And my table, woohoo… 真是真人不露相... When it comes to 4D… Wow… I’m quite shocked!!! How excited can they be... Their LAUGHTERS shook the walls of the restaurant... The good thing is that THE PILLARS STILL REMAIN... And they are so superstitious that they went to get the 发菜 and whatever veg that was thrown around… And the most SHOCKING thing is that SLYVIA ate it… 糟糕... The rest only kept a piece of the veg in their wallet but she ATE IT!!! Hope that she doesn't LS... And I also had of course… A few stalks of 蒜, a small piece of cabbage and the smelly veg… 弄到我的衣服有怪怪的味道... Haha… But now the veg are pinned up on the cubicle wall... Haha... For display...
Then suddenly the topic of LUCKY TIGER came in… And I was “ASKED”, or rather, INSTRUCTED to buy the number cos it will be my first time buying 4D… Stressed… First time I buy 4D loh… Hope that will have Beginner’s Luck then… 发咯... So paiseh loh… I went to the 4D place and was at the counter… Then the auntie suddenly popped the question: Are you 18? Diao… Don’t I look older than that? Haha… I don’t know if I should be happy or sad… But eventually, I still managed to get the number!!! By the time I reached office, it’s like almost 4 liao…
So it’s a good way to start the week… Haha…

As I have nothing interesting to write about on my life, thus I came up with this idea of "INTRODUCING" the different "INTERESTING" personnel in my office. There are a few interesting personnel.. But I can only touch on a few (not all of them) cos some of them DO READ MY BLOG... *don't smirk behind that screen, you know who you are*
So, without further ado, first up, it's the character from a well-known fairytale... It's Mr Peter Pan (Yapp actually, but its the Mega Sleepy Star, who gave him that name)... Just that this Peter Pan is different from the book's Peter Pan... (You can see it for yourself...)

This Peter Pan is not the magically type but the 大耳隆 type... He is in-charged of RMAs (Return Material Authorisation Forms)... And my department is in-charged of procurement... So whatever returns requesed by customers will have us churning the RMA reports which we will hand to him...
So basically, this Peter Pan will 每天来追债... Come to procurement side to ask for RMAs from Margaret's team and of course, his all-time-favourite, Laura... His presence is always made know... Not course he is there... But because he is LOUD... Everyday I have my earphones on, and mind you they are the in-ear ones which excludes external noise, but I'm still able to hear his voice LOUD & CLEAR!!! His voice supersedes the UBL speakers...
Peter Pan is actually quite "POPULAR" amongst the girls... He will come everyday, irregardless if there were any official matters... And the girls are "MORE THAN WILLING" to talk to him, of course... Hahaha... Luckily there's such a "fairytale character" in the office to brighten up the monotonous office life...
I'll continue with more "interesting" characters cos they are quite a few... Try me best... Cos it's quite difficult to get hold of their photos...

Body of missing diver found in waters off Pulau
Hantu
Singaporean Sue Qing Wen, who is in his 20s and who had
just finished his National Service, was reported missing on Saturday, the eve of
the Lunar New Year. 
He and several
others has gone for their first dive in open waters off Pulau Hantu - as part of
their diving certification - but did not make it back.
Pulau Hantu is 15
minutes away from Sentosa by speedboat.
Police said they received a call
from a member of the public about the body.
A diving wet suit and an
oxygen tank were also found with the body.
No one responded to Channel

Read this new paper article this morning in the papers... How sad can things get when a loved one was lost during festive season... And its not only one - but 2 cases of death arises from diving - One in Pulau Hantu & the other in Sydney... My condolences to the families...
But for this case, I still dont understand why the accident (the above article) had occurred when there are 2 instructors and 4 divemasters... So the student to diver ratio is 2 divers to 1 student leh... So by right, there are more than sufficient assistance... Erm... Maybe the news wasn't reported correctly - if the divers were involved in the teaching of the students... But it's a pity that death occurs...
Luckily when I took my course nothing happened... Esther and the other instructor were very concerned for our safety... All safety precautions have been taken... It might the visibility that have caused the accident cos during my course, the visibility was really REALLY bad to the extent that I lost the group a few times... It can cause quite a panic in one cos you can't see anything in the deep water... And there are the debris lying around that can pose a danger... Haiz... All we can do is to: Keep our eyes WIDE OPEN for our BUDDIES and of course, DANGERS!

Wow... It's a busy weekend... Erm... As I said.. Went to send Elicia off to Aussie... So sad... The 3rd person that I've to send off after Andre and Alvin... Hope that there will not any more =p... But I didnt stay there for long... After that had to rush down to Daryl's house...

The 4 of us (Daryl, Terence, Joseph & Me) went to East Coast Lagoon to have SUPPER... Same thing.. Ate Stingray, Sotong, Satay etc... It's spicy but quite nice... Joseph ate until he look as if he got dunk in a pool... Lucky Daryl's driving.. But he and Hans are exactly the same.. 鲁莽驾驶... Even for sharp turning, he also accelerate one loh... Sitting on a roller coaster sia...
After that we went to play mahjhong, starting at 1am... Joseph was asked to be the ACCOUNTANT.. But he sucks man!! Cant tabulate the winnings properly.. Haha... How to become an Accountant in the future?!?! And we played until 5am.. By then, I was damn shack liao... Same for the rest.. And we went to Mac to have breakfast before we head home, of cos with Daryl driving us...
I had to sneak in a napping time before I met Sock they all for Protege... Gosh that show is freaky... With amputated hand, Rats feasting on body etc... Initially thought that I would fall asleep, but with the sound effects and the horrible scenes, I could hardly take my eyes off the screen... Haha... Then went to the 顶楼 of Vivo where the Food Republic is to have our lunch... Though 没有胃口, I still managed to finish my plate of Nasi Lemak..
When I came home... I was already a Zombie... Went to sleep for another 2hrs.. But still insufficient... Hahah.. So instead of 守岁, I went to sleep at 11... Haha... This year is the only year I didnt 守岁 loh... Erm... Next year have to do it longer...

新年快乐 to all those who happen to read my BLOG... So fast yah... CNY is here... And I took off today... Which I'm so gald I did =p... Cos today Jenny & Eddy 忙得正着... Heard that they got lots of things to do... It's not that 我欺负大肚婆... But I think that it's the only time left that I can take off.. Cos Jenny 要走了... She is already on "ORD Mood"... So most of the things 我都包了... So better take a rest...
Went back to VJ today... 好怀念... Things have changed a lot... But the CULTURE & SPIRIT are still there... The celebration, though not wonderful, but still, brought back lots of happy memories... AND come to think of it... '03 batch is the pioneer batch of the HOUSE System... URSA rox... The moment I went into the hall... And I saw this "botak" guy sitting by the railing and it came to me naturally, "Mark Lee is there"... Hahaha... I think he is the 唯一 teacher who will cut that hair-style and he even ask me if he is 帅... Haha... Then I met Mrs Chan (the physics teacher) and the SAD SAD thing is that: She remembers my FACE but not my NAME... She was like mouthing to Mark Lee: I can't remember his name!!! 超Sad... I think my conversation with her was like less than 5 sentences... So chiam... Got nothing to talk... Haha... And I knew from Mark Lee that the Chris Wong went to NUS SCIENCE!!! Gosh... Don't see him everyday nua nua, he can teach UNI students le... I'm not sure if I'm supposed to 佩服 him or to 可怜 the UNI students... Haha...
But I still managed to do MASS DANCE... So happy... 很久没有跳了... Forgot some of the steps... But still I enjoyed myself... I think I'm the only one who went back loh... Didnt see any other ex-Victorians at all... See I so onz!!! =p
Erm... Then in the afternoon was slacking around doing nothing and went to Compass Point to get one pants and one shorts... Now waiting for time to come... Yeppie... Ah Meng Auntie going to fetch me to Airport... Can 搭顺风车... Going to airport to send Elicia off... She's going Aussie to study liao... 好幸福!!! Though she worked with me for like 2 months, she is the only one that can talk cock with me everyday at work cos they rest are like DAMN DAMN serious in their work... Haha...
Then later going to Daryl's house to play mahjong... And they are going to play money loh... Think they are going to 骗我的钱... Haha... See how loh...

It's the same old routine everyday... Wake up... Take breakfast... Go to work... Come back... Swim... Dinner... Sleep... Mundane right? No life! Where is the life! I need it! Weirdo is still the same... Kept giving me work to do... Using the "awkward" attitude... 好恶心... Then it's been work, work and more work! Nothing else... To-be-Mummy is leaving soon... Not sure how am I supposed to survive without another extra pair of hands to help! They kept sending emails up even at the last minute on Friday! Wanted to tell them: Anything later than 5pm, I WILL NOT DO IT... Please do it yourself! But suck thumb... 谁叫我是temp... 只好忍气吞声... Endure!
On Thursday... Went to Botak Jones with Elicia, Jenny, Lay Kwan & Eddy... The last time I went there was with Hans & gang... Haha... 好怀念... Dinner was a little awkward with them... Talk only revolved around work, work & WORK! Nothing else... But I 忍... cos it's Elicia's farewell dinner... Oh.. She's leaving for Aus this Fri... So good... 我也很想去! 但是同人不同命... haha...
Woohoo... Today woke up at 5 plus and left home for Xiao Di's tuition... Erm... This is the first time tuition is held at 8... 好早喔... 搞到我很累喔... haha... But it's so fun to teach Xiao Di... Haha... See him panic...
In the afternoon... Went to Hans Bday Party!! 21st liao... 恭喜恭喜!!! There are lots of things that you can do liao! Went there at 11 wanted to decorate for him de... But he only 吹气球... Haha... And his GF is there!!! First time I see his GF leh... Eileen, I think this is how it is spelt! Didnt really get to talk to her though I would very like to "interogate" her... Haha... Too serious a word to use... Discuss... Haha... But 她躲在另一个房子... Didnt have the opportunity... So glad to see 4/6 AGAIN for the 2nd time this year! Though I had to shout cos the decibel reached quite "high"... now 失声了...
When most ppl had left, Hans 点算礼物... KW, CH & Sam's present was the most innovative... They gave Hans a HANS cake box... So all of us thought that it's a cake... And Hans happily said, "That's my lunch!"... But when we opened the box... It's a T-SHIRT! 好有创意喔... Hans got lots of PRESENTS... 羡慕死人了... Erm... Should I have one too? But that will be 3 months later if there were to be one! =p

Woke up early today again... This time it's 5 am... Cos of Jan lah... Put GOD-KNOWS what perfume... 臭死人了... I couldnt 呼吸 at all loh... So had to wake up to get out of the room... If not, will 窒息而死... Haha...
Then went to give TUITION to 小弟... 小弟 is more "OPEN" today liao... At least, he is talking more!!! Not like the previous few times, all he did was to either 摇头 or 点头... Today, at least he can joke wth me liao... But he is still very GAN-JIONG and BLURRZ leh... Everytime when I asked him, "Are you sure?"... He would start to GARBRA... 对自己没有信心... 小弟 arh... Must have confidence when you do maths leh... But on the other hand, it's quite interesting to see you 不知所措... Haha...
After that then rushed down to Bugis to meet Ren He loh... And the first thing I told him, "Oh Gosh... 你肥了..." He had put on considerable amount of weight since I last saw him... I think its cos 他太懒了吧... Didnt want to exercise... Talking about exercise... I think 我扭到我的脚了... Now walking like a PIKACHU!!! And still went to walk around Bugis Street with RH... Didnt know that Bugis Street 有卖很多的男装... First time I went shopping and kept going in and out... RH bought like 1 shirt & 1 pants from there... And of cos, he bought a PINK CHECKERED shirt from TOPMAN... 有钱人就是这样... He spent like $150 and still tell me, "WOW, not bad... Still within budget!" Haha... Then I cant tahan liao... Cos 较真的很痛... So after the Peach Vanilla at TCC... We went home...
I was damn pissed off on the BLOODY bus... I was like SANDWICHED between 2 FAT person... There was like lots of space on the other side of them... But they just refused to move... 还我没得靠... So I was basically sitting on like one-fifth of my butt almost throughout the entire journey... Then I alighted at Heartland Mall to get materials for making cards... 然后就回家了...
Sian... Tml will have to work again!!! Dont know whether to be happy or not... Happy cos got money to take... Sad cos it's 超 sian... See how bah... Still have to continue until 10th May... My Birthday some more...

Today is quite a TIRING day... 一大早went running with Hans... I woke up at 3am, thinking that its already 6.. then after that can't go back to sleep liao... Then Hans came & drove me... as usual... I felt like 我在拍 INTIAL D... Speed can reach like 100km/hr sia... 怕怕!! And due to curosity, instead of turning back we took another route.. 真糟糕... We ENDED UP in Thomson Road... 得慢慢跑回去... Then 我们就去吃roti prata... Very Nice!!! Buds, we got new place to go the next time liao...
Then in the afternoon.. 就去买礼物啦... Stress lah... Prezzie are so difficut to buy... Went to shop the whole of Hereen also couldnt get an appropriate gift... 走到脚超超超酸... Feels like i've stepped on a BOX FULL of Lemons... Then we also visited SWATCH & FOSSILS... I like the watches in FOSSILS... Think I should get one of the FORMAL type someday... In the end, we went to CeniLeisure... And got a WATCH... 手表很不错... Hans 你很麻烦咯... Everything also have... Haha....
We went to 香港茶餐厅to have dinner... I had some BAKED PORK CHOP SPAGAHTTI... 满不错的... Their 鸳鸯奶茶is 超赞!!!! But just that the environment is too CHI-NA... All the workers there are CHINA people... haha... After that 我们就各自回家了...
Another day has passed... Tml will be SUNDAY liao... Going to tuition Henry... Then meeting RH at Bugis to do some shopping...
