Sugar & Spice plans for the weekend!
This Sunday, June 20th, will see the very first Sugar & Spice Children's Market in Woodend Victoria.
Click HERE to see the yummy list of stall holders who have been hand picked and are ready to go with all their gorgeous. mostly handmade, goodies!!
The hall has central heating, there will be cupcakes and coffee, face painting for the kids, live music, and goodie bags for the 1st 100 shoppers to arrive on the day! Sounds like the perfect Sunday morning to me!
To sweeten the Sugar & Spice experience even more - all the profits that are made through running the June (and September) markets will be donated to Felicity to fund her Son-Rise Program for her Autism.

Thanks so much to Kate of Sambelina for sharing some snaps of Giggleberry bunting in action at her little boy's train themed party.
You might remember from HERE Kate asked me to make custom bunting to match the Sambelina Choo-Choo Train invites for her little guy's 3rd birthday party. The red and sky blue colour palette was so fun to work with for the banner and Kate did an AMAZING job on every little detail for the day!!
You can see more party photos on the Sambelina blog HERE

Bon Voyage!
Two of my close girlfriends are about to head off overseas! One is taking her first international holiday and heading round the words for a few weeks, the other friend is moving to Manchester for at least 12 months - lucky ducks!
On the weekend just gone a handful of our friends got together over a casual lunch to say Bon Voyage and wish them well. So I thought it would be a bit of fun to take along some yummy travel themed sweets.
I made some airplane and globe shaped cookies and also made a few cupcakes that I placed in wrappers I made from old atlas pages and poked in some cupcake toppers I made using THESE printable traveler's party circles. For a bit of extra fun I used my little girls mini suitcase to serve them in - very cute!
I had also spotted a little while ago some gorgeous sewn paper cards made with old atlas pages by Moonmum so grabbed one to write a little farewell note to each of the travelers.
The Traveler's printable party circles by Paper and Pigtails
Sewn Atlas Paper Cards by Moonmum
Mini Suitcase in green from Little Styles
Airplane and round/globe cookie cutters from Little Betsy Baker
It all went together so well and was a great talking point at the end of our meal.

Little Clowns
A close friend of mine & mum of 3 gorgeous girls celebrated her middle daughter's 5th birthday on the weekend with a clown party! The invite was a bright and fun postcard style card with this photo of the birthday girl on the front that you couldn't help but smile at!
The invite gave all the usual details, where, when etc etc but it also asked the kids to "dress like a clown". After a quick dig through the kids dress up box I found a curly clown wig - it was a great start but I needed more bits and pieces and I was after something that my 2.5yo & 15mnth old would still be able to play in without getting in a tangle. So with a 'help me' Tweet sent out into Twitter land I had a few suggestions and ideas come back to me to play with.
I came up with this:
Not bad hey? with a multi coloured ball of wool I made three small pom poms (pom poms are so easy to make and a great craft for kids! check out the video tutorial I found HERE for the how to) I sewed the pom poms onto one of Harrison's old jumpers and he wore it with a pair of yellow and blue pants that had stars all over them (I couldn't believe my luck when I found in the 'hand me down' bag from his big cousins) For Milla's clown outfit I made an oversized bow tie from some red & white polka dot fabric I had and with a couple of stitches I attached it to a plain white shirt. With a denim skirt, the rainbow braces ($4 from ebay) & her red shoes the outfit was complete!
The party was a hit - and the rain that had been falling non stop for the 48hrs before hand even stopped for the kids to be able to play outside! A professional clown surprised the birthday girl and her guests with face painting, games, balloon bending and singing. And of course there were some Giggleberry bunting, in the birthday girls favorite colours, hanging around the party too!
