This is how we roll in the ghettoooo...Our neighborhood is not the greatest, it's not bad or unsafe by any means, but let's just say when the girls are dressed like this they fit right in!
The girls LOVE to play outside and we have a great fenced backyard, but it has been so hot that I haven't let them out much--after 5 minutes they'd get beet-red and so sweaty--not to mention the scary insects and biting ants that roam back there. It is finally starting to cool down (at 7am it is in the 70s) and I had the pest control guy come spray outside, so I've let them play more. They are in hog heaven, gosh I love those piggy faces!

I want a new camera...
Our first camera was a gift given to us six years ago and it takes OK pictures, but it runs on AA batteries, not very convenient. And the other camera we bought three years ago before our trip to Argentina because it was small and had video clip ability, but it does not take very good pictures. Oh, and I also spilled water on it, so the battery only lasts a few hours. I'm tired of grabbing a camera to take a quick shot only to find it out of juice. Or taking it with me and worrying about how long it will last (plus the pics are mediocre). So, please recommend a great camera to me, preferable less than $600. THANKS!
whenever I can tidbit...
I started another post last week and never finished it, but this is what I wrote...
I'm not sure when I'll be going to post every Tuesday again, but for now I'll post whenever I can. German leaves for school around 8am comes home for dinner around 5:30pm and goes back to school or studies in his office from 7pm until 11pm or later. Saturdays he usually has to go for most of the day as well. I miss him lots, but I'm finally feeling like I can handle all three girls by myself. I never realized how much he did around the house until now, he's such an awesome hubbs. I am feeling much better now that Sage has been sleeping 10+ hours at night since Thursday. She's awesome! She weighs 15 pounds and can wear some 6-12 month onsies! She's super smiley and calm and I love her lots! The girls are learning sooo much, especially in the talking department. I feel so guilty sometimes that I don't have much time to sit with them individually to play and teach them, but I guess eventually they'll learn everything they need to know, right?
We first went to the splash pad with my friend Darlene and her girls, but of course I forgot my camera. So, when Kiersta and Errson came up to visit we went again and I got some pics. It is always great (and a little exhausting) to get out of the house and the girls love little Errson, he was quite the romantic. I think the girls are going to be competing for his attention their whole lives. He is such a sweetie!

September 11th
Eight years ago today, I woke up in my apartment in San Diego listening in shock to my roommates tell me what was happening. We watched TV eyes wide making periodic gasps as we watched the terrifying images. I remember feeling alot of fear. I went to work, but after 30 minutes we were all sent home. I was so glad and I drove straight to see German. We had been engaged for only three months and loved spending every waking moment together (and still do). I remember watching the news cuddled up next to him and feeling very grateful I had him to love. I still feel that way and today I'm grateful to have three more to love.
My thoughts and prayers are with those who lost loved ones on 9/11. I hope this smile brightens your day!
